Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

Chapter 904: Chapter 0904: Confession

“Lao Jiang, how do you see it?” The scorekeeper looked towards the chief referee on the court.

The chief referee, Jiang Dalei, scratched his head in bewilderment, “I’m not sure either! Let me call a friend from the Basketball Association.”

The game was forced to halt, and Jiang Dalei called his friend in the Basketball Association; the call was quickly connected, “Lao Jiang, how come you have time to call me today? What’s up?”

“It’s like this… Should it be counted as two or three points?” Jiang Dalei said with a wry smile as he explained what had just happened.

“Lao Jiang, can you stop kidding me? Dunking from outside the three-point line? Not even the ‘Airman’ Carter can do that!” The friend at the Basketball Association didn’t believe the chief referee’s words at all.

“Believe it or not, I’ll send you a video later. Just tell me, how many points should this situation count for?”

There was silence on the other end for a moment before the hesitant reply came, “According to the basketball rules, the principle of scoring a shot is determined by the position of both feet the instant before the ball leaves the hands.

Inside the three-point line, including stepping on the line, counts as two points, and outside the line counts as three points.

If you have the ability to dunk from a leap outside the three-point line, then it’s three points.

Because before you leap, your feet were outside the three-point line. So it’s three points.”

After hearing this explanation, the chief referee was speechless, “Really… it’s three points!”

“Yeah, of course, it is, but certainly no one can do it, at least no one has managed it so far.”

“I’ll send you a video later and you’ll stop thinking that.” The chief referee shook his head, looking defeated, and decisively hung up the phone.

“What’s the verdict?” Although everyone had guessed the outcome from Jiang Dalei’s expression, they still looked at the chief referee with questioning eyes.

Jiang Dalei’s expression was very complicated, and with a bitter smile he said, “My friend from the Basketball Association says that as long as the shot is taken from a leap outside the three-point line, it counts as three points.

So…

The dunk by player number 25 just now was a three-pointer!

Which means! The School of Business wins the game by a one-point margin!”

After a brief moment of shock, the entire basketball stadium erupted into deafening cheers!

“MVP! MVP!”

“Long live Master Qin! Long live Master Qin!”

“Way to go, hubby!”

Even the spectators from the sports college joined in the applause! Seriously awesome! A dunk from beyond the three-point line!

The players from the sports college did not dispute the outcome; they knew that even if they went into overtime, they would still be the ones to lose!

Since they were bound to lose sooner or later, better early than late!

Qin Yu was hoisted up by the boys from the School of Business, enjoying the hero treatment!

Zhao Gang was so excited he didn’t know what to say; he couldn’t understand where he had found the courage that morning to challenge Master Qin to a wrist-wrestling match? Wasn’t that just asking for punishment?

After the madness had lasted a while, Qin Yu was finally set down, and even as a Quasi-Celestial Realm expert, he felt a bit dizzy from his classmates’ jostling.

Qin Yu walked up to Su Ziyan and asked softly, “Wife, do you have any other wishes? I’ll help you fulfill them one by one.”

“Really? You can’t go back on your word,” Su Ziyan’s eyes twinkled mischievously.

“Of course.”

“Alright, my wish is…” Su Ziyan paused, then leaned in to whisper in Qin Yu’s ear, “Just to spoil me and love me for a lifetime, and never leave me.”

Su Ziyan’s words sent Qin Yu’s spirits soaring! Was this a confession? His wife was confessing to him for the first time!

If this weren’t a basketball stadium, if Su Ziyan weren’t inconvenient, Qin Yu would definitely have pinned her down right there and then!

“Let’s go already, big blockhead.”

Frightened by Qin Yu’s fervent gaze, Su Ziyan pulled on his large hand, heading towards the locker room.
