Picking Up a Gorgeous CEO for a Wife

387: Chapter 0387: Being Cared About 387: Chapter 0387: Being Cared About Qin Yu gently set Su Ziyan down in the swivel chair and then unceremoniously pulled both portions of rice noodles to his side, picking up a strand with his chopsticks.

With a slurp, he sucked the noodles into his mouth.

Chewing loudly on purpose, Qin Yu almost made Ziyan’s saliva drip from the corner of her mouth!

This big bad guy, was he deliberately provoking her?

As he ate, Qin Yu said indistinctly, “So rice noodles can be this tasty, huh?”

Gulp…

Seeing Qin Yu enjoy it so much, Ziyan couldn’t help but swallow another mouthful of saliva!

It seemed…

the rice noodles appeared really delicious!

She really wanted a bite!

But…

but she couldn’t let Qin Yu, this big bad jerk, look down on her!

Qin Yu ate quickly!

In her moment of hesitation, Qin Yu had already finished off one portion of the noodles!

What made Ziyan even more frustrated was that Qin Yu actually picked up the small bucket holding the noodles and, with a gulgulgul, drank the soup as well.

“Mmm, so delicious!

So full!

Although I’m full, we can’t be wasteful, right?

Since that’s the case, I’ll just have to try a little harder to finish this one too!”

Qin Yu patted his round belly and, with a cheeky laugh, opened the other box of rice noodles.

“Qin Yu!

Since you’re full, you shouldn’t eat anymore.

Getting overstuffed isn’t good, is it?

You need to take care of your body!”

Seeing that Qin Yu was not sparing even the other portion of noodles, Ziyan couldn’t hold back any longer.

She raised her small hand and firmly pressed down on the small bucket holding the noodles.

“Eh?

What does me getting overstuffed have to do with you?

What are you to me, huh?”

Qin Yu, the one to bear grudges, threw her words right back at her.

Ziyan glared at him: “Don’t you know what we are to each other?

We are husband and wife, recognized by Dragon Country’s law!

Although we have an agreement, until we’re divorced, I am still your legally recognized wife.

As your legally recognized wife, isn’t it normal for me to be concerned about you?

So it’s decided then!

To prevent you from having an upset stomach, and to ensure you have the strength to work for me, I’ll take care of this portion of noodles myself!”

Ziyan spoke with a righteous air, inconsiderately raised her hand, and grabbed Qin Yu’s box of rice noodles.

“Hey!

Wife, you’re being a bully!

Don’t fight with me over it!”

Qin Yu cried out dramatically, but since he had already intended to let Ziyan eat properly, of course, he didn’t truly fight with her for it and easily let her snatch the box of noodles.

Although Ziyan was so hungry she felt dizzy, she still ate the noodles very gracefully, very cutely, causing Qin Yu to watch her in a daze.

Seeing a drop of soup on Ziyan’s cheek from eating too quickly, Qin Yu pulled out a tissue from the table and tenderly approached her face with it.

Ziyan’s body stiffened, instinctively wanting to reprimand him.

But seeing Qin Yu’s focused, doting look, the words at her lips just wouldn’t come out.

With a noodle hanging from her mouth, Ziyan simply stared at Qin Yu, watching as he wiped the drop of soup from her cheek.

“You’re like a child, getting food on your face while eating,” Qin Yu said as he wiped, speaking in a tone of gentle reprimand.

For some reason, Ziyan suddenly felt a warm sensation in her heart, and the resentment from being scolded earlier dissipated a great deal!

Was this what it felt like to be cared for, to be loved?

Her heart felt warm!
