Rebuilding the Immortal Cultivator Clan

Chapter 69: Solution (Vote for me~ Please follow)

```
This made Li Shijing very happy, but thinking of the current situation of the guard team, he said with some difficulty, ”Clan Leader, the guard team only has five members right now; Iʼm afraid we wonʼt be able to meet your requirements.”
```

```
”I know.” Since Li Zhirui had brought up the issue, he naturally understood the state of the guard team. ”I will issue a special announcement to recruit as many clan members as possible. When the time comes, Iʼll need Elder Shijing to manage the guard team well.”
```

```
Li Shijing nodded again and again. Having gone from a marginal elder to one wielding real power, he certainly had to seize the opportunity.
```

```
”By the way, the guard team might get busy in the future, so we need to increase their monthly pay. Letʼs tentatively set it at forty-five Contribution Points a month.”
```

```
”In the future, the clan will issue monthly pay in Contribution Points. One Contribution Point is equivalent to one Spirit Stone,” Li Zhirui explained, turning his gaze to Li Shiqi, the newly appointed Miscellaneous Affairs Elder.
```

```
”At the same time, Iʼll need you to revise the other clan membersʼ monthly pay. The pay will be divided into two parts; one part will be based on cultivation level. For example, the monthly payment for the early Qi Cultivation stage is thirty Contribution Points, and so on.”
```

```
”The other part will be allocated according to clan membersʼ positions, like members of the guard team receiving forty-five Contribution Points.”
```

```
This approach would reduce the consumption of Spirit Stones and concentrate them in the hands of the family, to be used for purchasing Spiritual Objects that the clan lacks.
```

```
”Iʼm afraid many clan members will be unwilling to accept this,” Li Shiqi hesitantly said.
```

```
”Contribution Points are equivalent to Spirit Stones and can be used to exchange for all sorts of Spiritual Objects, Spirit Pills, and Magic Artifacts of the clan—and when exchanging with Contribution Points, itʼs one Spirit Stone cheaper!” Li Zhirui stated calmly. ”Just convey this message, and no one will disagree.”
```

```
Li Shiqi couldnʼt help but nod, but there was still one issue, ”What if clan members need to use Spirit Stones for something important?”
```

```
”They can apply to the clan. As long as the reason is justified, they can exchange Contribution Points for Spirit Stones, but a transaction fee of five percent will be charged.” The fee was meant to prevent clan members from exchanging for Spirit Stones without good cause.
```

```
”Of course, if itʼs not urgent, they can tell the clan what they want to buy, and the clan will make the purchase on their behalf, also with a discount.” Li Zhirui was well-prepared for this.
```

```
A few elders below murmured as if wanting to say something, but looking at the elders sitting at the front, they ultimately didnʼt dare to speak up.
```

```
Although Li Zhirui was younger, he had already become a Foundation Establishment Cultivator. His junior status was still recognized, but it was just that—a formality. Aside from the customary respect, it didnʼt have much practical use.
```

```
What was more important was that those who supported Li Zhirui were few but all wielded real power: Li Shilian, Li Shiren, Li Shiting—three Foundation Establishment Cultivators, and Li Shile, the most powerful Internal Affairs Elder.
```

```
With the support of these four, any suggestion Li Zhirui made would prevail, even if some objected. Opposing him would only lead to offending Li Zhirui.
```

```
”Thereʼs one more thing.” Hearing that Li Zhirui had more to say, the crowd quickly perked up because they might be the ones to be entrusted with a new task!
```

```
”Our family now has too few clan members!” Li Zhirui said with a grave expression. ”Whether itʼs Secular Clansmen or those with a Spiritual Root, the numbers are too low! For this reason, I have an idea, and I want everyoneʼs input on its feasibility.”
```

```
”Incentivize our clan members to have more children!” Although Li Zhirui was young in both his lives, he understood the importance of population.
```

```
”No matter who it is, anyone who gives birth to offspring with a Spiritual Root will receive an award from the clan. For example, if Ren gives birth to an offspring with Three Spiritual Roots, the clan will reward him with a one-time gift of one hundred Spirit Stones!”
```

```
”The better the aptitude, the more Spirit Stones the reward will be, and no matter how many times you have children with a Spiritual Root, the clan will have a reward!”
```

```
Li Zhirui had noticed a phenomenon early on: many clan members hoped to break through to Foundation Establishment, so they were reluctant to lose their Yuan Yin and Yuan Yang.
```

```
But once they realized they had no chance at Foundation Establishment, they felt too old to find a partner, leading to many single and childless clan members—a waste of resources!
```

It is known that if one parent possesses a Spiritual Root, the probability of their offspring having Spiritual Roots is significantly higher than for offspring whose parents both lack Spiritual Roots.

It is said that if both parents have Spiritual Roots, the chance of their offspring having them is as high as sixty percent, and the higher the cultivation level, the greater the probability.

However, once a cultivator breaks through to Foundation Establishment and combines Yin and Yang, the difficulty of conceiving offspring greatly increases.

Li Zhirui believed that after this measure was announced, the family would definitely see a marriage wave, and not long after, there would be a wave of pregnancies and a baby boom...

If they were lucky, in ten years, the number of clansmen with Spiritual Roots would be much greater than it is now!

”There are quite a few marriageable youths among the Secular Clansmen right now, but their blood relations are still relatively close, so we can only bring in outsiders,” said Elder Shizhong, who was responsible for handling affairs of the Secular Clansmen.

”But under the current circumstances, if we randomly bring in outsiders, it is very likely that we will introduce people with ulterior motives.”

Upon hearing this, Li Zhiruiʼs brow furrowed slightly; he had indeed overlooked this matter, and hearing Elder Shizhong speak of it reminded him of another issue.

The number of people among the Secular Clansmen was too low, which was one of the reasons for the limited number of cultivators in the family!

Itʼs just a pity that Da Rong Island is too far from Bailang County, and it has already been occupied by other powers. The Li family couldnʼt easily go back and gather their people; they could only rely on the clansmen from Da Rong Island to slowly increase their population.

”This matter is very important, concerning the future development and security of the family; it must be handled properly,” Li Zhirui thought for a moment and said, ”Elder Shizhong, I will entrust this task to you.

”I also request Elder Shize to assist by investigating some commoners with clear backgrounds in Yunping State.”

”Okay,” the two nodded in agreement.

”Does anyone have any opinions or other matters? Put them forward so that we can discuss and solve them together,” Li Zhirui asked.

Seeing that everyone remained silent, Li Zhirui went on to declare on his own, ”If there are none, then letʼs conclude todayʼs meeting. Tomorrow I will call a family meeting and announce these matters.”

In fact, Li Zhirui had not mentioned one thing, and that was the law enforcement team responsible for monitoring!

This was a point that Li Zhirui took very seriously, but because there was so much discussed today, he thought the Elders needed some time to digest it all.

Moreover, the law enforcement team was of great importance, and Li Zhirui wanted to consider it carefully to ensure that no problems would arise.

With that, Li Zhirui stood up and left the main hall.

Since the back hall was where Li Shiqing was in closed-door cultivation, Li Zhirui directly returned to his small courtyard.

Li Shilian and the other two who had reached Foundation Establishment also stood up and left.

”I never expected that Zhirui would make such a profound impact with his actions!” Li Shile said with great emotion.

He thought that Li Zhirui was only prepared to adjust the authority of the Internal Affairs Elder and establish his own prestige, but he had not expected him to initiate so many changes.

However, upon careful consideration, everything that Li Zhirui did was beneficial for the development of the family.

”Hahaha, Zhirui as Clan Leader is doing a much better job than the second brother,” Li Shihe said laughing, leaving the main hall with Li Shile.

In the end, only a group of Elders and Li Zhizhun were left in the main hall, looking at each other in silence.
