The Strongest Urban Son-in-law

Chapter 103: Chapter 101: Appointment

Keke was getting a bit impatient and stood at the entrance on the first floor, loudly asking, ”Brother-in-law, are you done yet?”

Ye Feng nodded his head, then moved to the side, and the two of them took the elevator to the restaurant together.

After reaching the rooftop, Keke led the way, saying, ”Brother-in-law, this way, this way!”

Seeing how familiar everything was to Keke, Ye Feng asked curiously, ”You seem very familiar with Lin Tian City?”

Keke nodded her head, ”Isn’t that obvious? I’m studying at a university in Lin Tian City now, of course I’m familiar!”

Ye Feng suddenly realized and then they both reached the entrance of the restaurant.

A polite waiter approached Ye Feng and Keke, asking, ”Respected sir, miss, do you have a reservation?”

Keke looked at Ye Feng and said, ”Brother-in-law, did you make a reservation? Don’t tell me you didn’t!”

Ye Feng shook his head, ”No!”

It was Ye Feng’s first time here, and it was Keke who insisted on coming to this restaurant. Ye Feng had no idea about making reservations.

”Oh my god!” Keke looked helpless, ”You didn’t make a reservation, brother-in-law!”

The waiter politely said, ”Sir, miss, our restaurant requires advance reservations for dining. If you haven’t made a reservation, you’ll need to wait outside for two hours before you can dine.”

Ye Feng suddenly remembered the VIP card Li Linfeng had given him and said, ”I didn’t make a reservation, but...”

”Let’s go, let’s go! Brother-in-law, we’re not eating here. What’s the point of waiting for two hours? Forget it!” Keke couldn’t wait for two hours.

”Keke!” Just then, a handsome man dressed in a blue suit and carrying himself elegantly approached Keke from inside the restaurant.

Seeing the man, Keke looked surprised, ”Wang Feng, senior, what are you doing here?”

Wang Feng smiled slightly, ”I’m here to eat, of course. And who might this be?” He then looked at Ye Feng.

Keke showed a hint of impatience in her eyes and deliberately said, ”This is a friend!”

When Keke enrolled in university, her beauty made her a prominent figure at school, and Wang Feng, who was the vice president of the student council and from a wealthy family, started pursuing her only a few days after she started school.

But Keke rejected him. Being the precious daughter of the Liu Family, she naturally looked down on someone like Wang Feng. Besides, she had always placed Yu Fan on a pedestal, like a god among men, and had no interest in any other guy.

To make Wang Feng give up his pursuit, Keke intentionally did not mention that Ye Feng was her brother-in-law.

”A friend?” Wang Feng’s eyes showed disdain as he scrutinized Ye Feng, a guy whose total outfit probably cost less than five hundred yuan, yet was able to be Keke’s friend and dine with her.

Back then, I invited Keke for dinner no less than twenty times, but every time I was rejected. Just thinking about it made Wang Feng feel incredibly frustrated.

Wang Feng couldn’t understand why Keke could fancy such a bumpkin who didn’t even know that dining required a reservation.

Yet, on the surface, Wang Feng remained the epitome of a gentleman, flashing a slight smile and extending his hand, ”Hello, my name is Wang Feng, and I’m Keke’s senior.”

Ye Feng didn’t even spare Wang Feng a glance, and Keke sneered inwardly, ”Someone like you, what credentials do you have to shake hands with my cousin-in-law?”

Ye Feng was completely unaware that Keke had become his little fan.

Ever since Yu Fan was defeated by Ye Feng, Ye Feng had become Keke’s new idol.

Keke thought if the invincible big brother Yu Fan wasn’t a match for Ye Feng, then it could only mean that Ye Feng was a man even better than a god.

Of course, Ye Feng was also reluctant to deal with Wang Feng because he sensed the hostility from him.

Wang Feng frowned, infuriated that this bumpkin dared not give him face, but his expression remained calm, ”Keke, it’s a good thing that I came alone. Why don’t we sit together? In the future, it’s better to stay away from such questionable friends. A bumpkin who doesn’t even know what a reservation is really isn’t fit to be your friend. If he’s broke, he shouldn’t try to act pretentious; failing at that is truly embarrassing...”

Keke was immediately dissatisfied on the spot. After all, Ye Feng was someone she admired, and she couldn’t allow Wang Feng to look down on Ye Feng.

Ye Feng couldn’t be bothered to argue with such a man and instead turned to the waiter, ”Bring us the top-tier private room...”

”Top-tier private room?” Hearing Ye Feng’s words, both the waiter and Wang Feng were taken aback.

They wondered if they had misheard, staring dumbfounded at Ye Feng, ”Top-tier private room, buddy, are you joking with us? Who do you think you are? Without a reservation and you want a top-tier private room? Has your brain been squeezed?”

At this point, even the usually patient waiter grew angry, looking disdainfully at Ye Feng, ”Sir, the top-tier private room not only requires a reservation, but also entails having spent three million yuan in our restaurant’s history to become a VIP!”

”Hahaha!” Wang Feng laughed derisively, ”Keke, is your friend out of his mind? Even I can’t book a top-tier private room, yet he talks about top-tier private rooms. How can you be friends with someone like this?”

Upon hearing Wang Feng’s words, Keke’s face turned incredibly embarrassed. She hadn’t expected Ye Feng to be so unreliable. These were the restaurant’s rules; Ye Feng wasn’t the owner, so how could he make such claims?

The waiter’s face also darkened, ”Sir, if you’re unwilling to wait for a table then please leave. Can you please not cause trouble?”

Keke’s face turned red with shame, extremely embarrassed, ”Can’t you just let it go? We can come and eat next time. Why act like this?”

The surrounding people in the restaurant looked at Ye Feng and Keke as if they were looking at fools, discussing among themselves, ”Is this guy sick in the head, still asking for a top-tier private room? Can just anybody have that?”

”This young lady must be blind. She’s so pretty, yet she chose such an uncouth boyfriend. What’s wrong with these post-2000 kids?”

Hearing the onlookers’ comments, Keke’s embarrassment only deepened.

Keke wished she could turn around and flee from the scene right there, but Ye Feng showed no signs of wanting to leave...
