Super Tycoon: I Beg You, Stop Pulling Stunts

‘That’s a path I’ve never considered before.’

‘To be precise, I never dared to think that way.’

‘It was because I trusted too much in “order.”‘

‘That’s why I learned my lesson the hard way.’

“Can you even turn a profit maintaining such a large Security Group? The global security market has already been mostly carved up by a few giants. Not to mention, things like local culture and employee quality are actually huge problems.”

He asked with great interest, the conversation now having shifted to casual chat.

This was indeed a core issue.

After all, supporting people costs money. With over a hundred thousand employees, the monthly payroll alone was an astronomical figure. Even the wealthiest tycoons didn’t spend money like that.

Without business, it would be difficult to support so many people.

This was the biggest difference between Lin Chu and an ordinary tycoon.

Looking at him, Lin Chu shook his head and smiled. “I have my own business channels and have basically polished a proven method for survival. But that’s a core competency, haha… When there’s a chance later, I’ll explain it to you in detail.”

He was subtly flexing.

Lin Chu was talking about his “System Dad,” but what Zhao Peng heard and naturally understood was a powerful “backer.”

That, of course, was a core competency.

He smiled and nodded, not pressing the issue at all. It was the kind of thing you wouldn’t get an answer to even if you asked.

‘But one thing is for sure,’ he thought. ‘Lin Chu definitely has someone backing him! Absolutely!’

As the conversation was winding down, Lin Chu casually brought up a small request. “I need a batch of digital assets. The situation is a bit complicated, and I need a large quantity… You should have channels that can provide them, right?”

Zhao Peng ran an exchange. An exchange was like a bank, collecting transaction fees, so he naturally had a lot stockpiled.

For him, this request was nothing at all.

“Hm?”

“Yes, of course I do.”

“How much does President Lin need?”

A thought stirred in Zhao Peng’s mind, and he smiled straightforwardly.

Compared to what Lin Chu had been talking about earlier, this was truly a trivial matter. As for why he didn’t buy from public channels and wanted a private transaction, he naturally had his reasons—most likely the large volume or the need for privacy.

“Let’s start with ten billion USD worth. It needs to be broken up and distributed across several hundred wallets.”

“What assets do you want in return? Cash? Gold? Company shares? Anything is fine.”

“Even… people. I have a thousand-man guard unit, armed to the teeth. Of course, people aren’t property, and they aren’t worth that much, but I think this is what you need most right now.”

Lin Chu stated his terms, then immediately asked with a grin.

For their current situation, an asset swap like this was the best method of transaction.

Ten billion USD!

A thousand-man guard unit!

These two sensitive phrases struck Zhao Peng hard. He was stunned by Lin Chu’s staggering cash flow and the power of the forces under his command.

“I… I have an idea.”

His mind raced. An idea that made his heart pound suddenly surfaced. Licking his lips, he asked with a smile, “President Lin, what’s the nature of your Security Group?”

The moment he asked, Lin Chu instantly knew what he was thinking.

“It’s a private enterprise, wholly-owned, fully licensed… It used to belong to a big shot in the country, but it was transferred to me. Domestically, we already cover second-tier cities and above. Internationally, well, we mainly rely on sheer numbers.”

“If you’re interested, we could work on this together. After all, security is a responsibility of utmost importance. It’s always more reassuring to use our own people.”

“I don’t just have firearms. A while back, I also partnered with a few Martial Arts Schools and recruited the first batch of a thousand skilled fighters… I have a base over in Russia, one in Southeast Asia, and one here in Dubai.”

“As for the new plot of land I bought, part of it will be an R&D center for low-altitude aircraft, and the other part will be a global intelligence center.”

Lin Chu was flexing his muscles.

This really hit home for Zhao Peng. After all, this was his biggest concern.

He had subtly guided the conversation in the direction he wanted.

Zhao Peng: …

His eyelids twitched violently.

‘This… this is too much.’

‘Absolutely ruthless.’

‘Training bases are things that clearly don’t make any money, yet this young man in front of me has set up three of them.’

‘Is this what a fucking businessman is supposed to do?’

‘What are you trying to do?’

‘However, when I think about the “figure” that exists behind Lin Chu, it all seems very reasonable. Perfectly reasonable!’

‘Many things are best done on a smaller scale under the guise of a company. A small boat is easier to turn around, after all.’

His imagination ran wild with these thoughts…

Zhao Peng’s brow furrowed slightly. He said with a rather solemn expression, “I’m quite interested in this line of business… If it’s possible, what would the valuation be?”

He was very tempted.

If he wanted to walk the same path now, building such a system from scratch, it wasn’t impossible, but it would be far too slow. He wouldn’t be able to keep up at all.

Since Lin Chu had brought it up, cooperation was a possibility.

Of course, the risk was that he could be “controlled”—controlled in a physical sense.

After all, all the personnel would be Lin Chu’s.

But, based on their interactions so far, first, he still had value that could be utilized. And second, Lin Chu didn’t seem like an overly aggressive or domineering person; he acted with a sense of propriety.

“I can give you five points for a price of one billion US Dollars, a seat on the board of directors, and your equity will never be diluted. This is guaranteed for my lifetime.”
