Chapter 345: Chapter 326: Building a Fish Pond and Showing Off the Big Crabs

”Dungeon Name: The Hiding Mountain Crab.”

”Mission Objective: Battle and defeat the Mountain Crab.”

”Mission Rewards: 2,000 Mountain Crabs (Quality: Superior), 2,000 River Crabs (Quality: Superior).”

”Enter game dungeon?”

Li You was overjoyed to hear the voice. ’Another game dungeon has finally been generated!’

’Two thousand of both Mountain Crabs and River Crabs, and all superior quality... This couldn’t be better!’

Crabs were an incredibly popular food.

This was especially true for river crabs.

River crabs were plump and delicious, a favorite for many.

The famous mitten crab was a type of river crab.

And while mountain crabs weren’t as plump and rich as river crabs, they were also delicious.

Moreover, they also had medicinal value.

Not only did they have anti-inflammatory and circulation-boosting properties, but they were also exceptionally effective at treating traumatic injuries.

In folk medicine, they were regarded as an excellent remedy for mending bones.

Whether it was river crabs or mountain crabs, both were excellent ingredients.

Therefore, Li You chose to enter the game dungeon without a moment’s hesitation.

It didn’t matter that Ling Xiaoru had also seen the mountain crab. According to the game dungeon’s rules, any dungeon object that entered a bystander’s line of sight would not disappear after the dungeon concluded.

The previous Silkworm Beetle game dungeon had already proven this.

Besides, this mission was only to defeat the Mountain Crab, not kill it.

After entering the game dungeon, Li You found himself underwater.

Although he was underwater, he could breathe freely.

The sensation was marvelous.

The battlefield for this dungeon was, without a doubt, the bottom of this body of water.

Fighting underwater for the first time. Li You felt a mix of exhilaration at the novelty and a slight nervousness.

’The water resistance would be immense. I wonder if I’ll be able to use my full combat strength?’

’Can’t worry about that now. First things first, I need to get my gear on.’

He opened his Storage Pavilion and equipped all his gear.

”Qi and Blood: 550

Attack: 16

Defense: 32

Agility: 14.”

’Pretty decent stats.’

Once he was geared up, Li You began to search for his opponent: the monstrous Mountain Crab.

He looked all around but couldn’t find it.

’That’s weird. In the past, the monster would attack as soon as I entered the dungeon.’

’This time I’ve been actively searching for ages, and there’s still no sign of the monster.’

’Did the system crash?’

’Probably not.’

After searching for quite a while longer, Li You finally spotted two enormous eyes under a rock.

’Finally found it.’

’So this camper was hiding here the whole time. Was it planning an ambush?’

’Wait a minute... The name of this dungeon is ”The Hiding Mountain Crab.” ’

’Okay, so it really meant ”hiding.” ’

”Monster Name: Mountain Crab

Qi and Blood: 800

Attack: 10

Defense: 30

Agility: 10.”

’High Qi and Blood, high defense, and its attack and agility aren’t weak either.’

’This camper has some strong stats. On top of that, we’re fighting underwater, which is obviously its home turf.’

Could Li You successfully complete the mission this time?

It was hard to say.

However, Li You had no intention of retreating. After all, even if he couldn’t beat this thing and it killed him, he would only fail the dungeon; he wouldn’t actually die in the real world.

’Nothing to fear. Time to get to it!’

Raising the Snake Scale Sword in his hand, Li You charged straight at it.

Or more accurately, he swam toward it.

The feeling of being able to breathe and swim about freely like a fish was truly wonderful.

However, when it came to combat, his movement and speed were severely hampered.

This was going to be a difficult battle.

At this moment, the Mountain Crab finally stopped hiding, crawling out from under the rock with two massive pincers raised.

It was walking straight forward.

Most crabs, including mountain crabs, walk sideways.

But this camper in front of him could move both sideways and straight ahead.

As a dungeon monster, it was bound to be more impressive than a real mountain crab.

Of course, not all crabs in the real world walk sideways. A small number of species do walk forward.

Once the Mountain Crab emerged, it was already very close to Li You.

So, Li You slashed with his longsword, striking one of the Mountain Crab’s large pincers and producing a dull thud.

The Mountain Crab’s Qi and Blood didn’t decrease at all.

Li You had failed to break through its defense.

’Looks like this is destined to be a war of attrition.’

The Mountain Crab spread its large pincers and counter-attacked Li You.

Li You twisted his body and quickly swam aside, managing to land another slash in the process.

This strike finally caused its Qi and Blood to drop a little.

Feeling encouraged, Li You pressed on.

After a long, drawn-out struggle, the Mountain Crab had finally lost 400 points of Qi and Blood.

That was half of its total. Meanwhile, Li You was also down to roughly half his Qi and Blood.

Still, things weren’t too bad. At least a final victory was now possible.

And at this point, items began to drop.

”Item Drop: 200 Mandarin Fish (Ingredient, Quality: Superior).”

”Item Drop: 500 Mandarin Fish (Ingredient, Quality: Superior).”

”Item Drop: 1,000 Perch (Ingredient, Quality: Superior).”

”Item Drop: 100 Dining Sets.”

”...”

The nonstop item drops made Li You ecstatic.

’I finally have Mandarin fish and perch!’

’I can finally officially add Steamed Mandarin Fish and Steamed Perch to the menu!’

’Many of the customers at my shop have been dying to try them.’

’It even dropped dining sets! A hundred of them, no less!’

’This is great!’

This was exactly what Li You needed at the moment. With these 100 dining sets, he could now add tables in the empty space outside his shop anytime.

Li You had been planning to go buy some dining tables in the next few days.

Thankfully, he hadn’t bought them yet.
