Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest

With Blank’s guidance, Elayne arrived at her next destination: a shop selling all sorts of potions and concoctions. According to Blank, this was the finest in the city—Yenia Atelier. It was run by a single young and energetic Blue Ghostly Goblin woman named Yenia Belerie, daughter of one of the few Noble Households led by a Blue Ghostly Goblin Lord with strong ties to the Velberth Family.

“Ahhhh! Customers! Welcome, welcome. Make yourselves at home. Feel free to ask if you have any questions~!” Yenia greeted them cheerfully. She sat near her counter, brewing potions by mixing materials in a small cauldron beside her. She was an adorable Blue Ghostly Goblin girl with a petite, stout body, ears at least three times larger than usual for goblins, long silver hair tied into twin pigtails, and bright yellow eyes. She stood out as particularly beautiful among Blue Ghostly Goblin females. “Blank~ It’s rare to see you here. Who are these people?” she asked as Elayne, Mark, and Sailor began browsing the products.

“Clients of mine,” Blank replied. “We struck a good deal with them and their owner, so we’ve decided to assist them with a few purchases.”

“Oh~ Thank you for bringing them here, dear Blank,” she said with a wink. “So, are you still single? Heheh…”

“Yes,” Blank answered, his face expressionless. “Finding a bride is no casual matter for White Ghosts.”

“I know~ So why not casually choose me? I’m right here~” Yenia was anything but subtle about her desires. Blue Ghostly Goblins were known for their bold personalities. The women, in particular, openly confessed their feelings and pursued any male who caught their interest, regardless of race. The males were often loud and boisterous, rarely alone and always surrounded by friends. Nobles like Yenia carried themselves with more dignity than commoners yet retained most of these traits. “Come on, you never know until you try. Maybe you’ll get hooked—”

“Be more professional, Yenia. You have customers,” Blank reprimanded her. “How many times must I remind you?”

“Okay, okay, I get it,” she sighed. “Anyway, is this what you want, dear customers?”

Elayne, Mark, and Sailor had gathered several potions and other intriguing items.

“Yes. Also, I was wondering if you sell Alchemy Cauldrons, Lady Yenia,” Elayne said.

“An Alchemy Cauldron? What would an Undead like you do with that? Isn’t it dangerous to meddle with such things? Hasn’t your owner taught you better?” Yenia asked, puzzled by how independent these Undead seemed.

“Yenia, they’re special. Treat them with respect,” Blank interjected. “Their owner is an old witch of your race named Yaga. Do you know her?”

“Yaga… Yagaaa… Ah, I’ve heard of her, but where?” Yenia pondered, rubbing her chin. “Hmm! Oh yes, that old granny! She’s ancient, you know? Always wandering around the Labyrinth. She’s a librarian, a witch, and skilled in alchemy. She travels alone. I never imagined she had her own Undead troops.”

“Do you know anything else?” Blank asked, narrowing his eyes.

“Nope! That’s all,” Yenia beamed at him. “Soooo, you want an Alchemy Cauldron? I have one extra. It’s a bit dusty, and it’s not cheap.”

“How much?” Elayne inquired.

“A proper usable Alchemy Cauldron costs no less than 50k Nether Stones. But for you, Blank—because you’re looking extra handsome today—I’ll give a discount,” she winked. “35k!”

“Really?! We’ll take it!” Elayne nodded eagerly.

An Alchemy Cauldron was one item she couldn’t replicate within her Domain. Mark, however, flinched as Yenia dragged the heavy cauldron forward, straining with her arms and shuffling her feet slowly. A deep trauma resurfaced, the memory of his soul boiling and burning inside such a vessel, pain so intense he had wished for nothing but death.

“Haaa… Ugh…” he groaned, clutching his chest as phantom agony gripped him.

“M-Mark?” Elayne hurried to his side, concerned. “Are you okay?”

“I’m… fine…” he sighed. “Sorry… I just have a bad history with alchemy cauldrons…”

“It’s alright,” Elayne reassured him softly. “I’m sorry for startling you. It won’t happen again.”

After paying for everything, Elayne secured the potions, materials, and the discounted cauldron. With that accomplished, she decided to continue shopping tomorrow and returned to the mansion with Mark, Sailor, and Blank.

There, an unexpected visitor awaited—or rather, a family member.

Blank began to sweat slightly as they entered and heard a commotion inside.

Unlike most White Ghosts, this relative paid no heed to formalities and voiced her thoughts loudly.

“Idiot, this meat is too raw! Cook another!”

“Idiot! Who are you? I don’t like you. Get out.”

“Idiot, why are you staring? I hate shadows—they’re so creepy! Leave!”

“Idiot! Idiot! Idiot! Idiot!”

Blank facepalmed as Elayne, Mark, and Sailor approached the door, curious about the source of the uproar.

“Um, what’s wrong, Lord Blank?” Elayne asked, noticing his hesitation.

“It’s her… Please don’t mind her words. My father raised her with every luxury and was far too lenient, unlike with me,” Blank explained. “She grew up… eccentric. Most women of our race have strong personalities, but she takes it to extremes.”

“…She?”

Blank opened the door, revealing a beautiful White Ghost girl with pale candlewax-like skin, long flowing white hair, and glowing silver eyes. She wore a white and silver dress adorned with large decorative feathers resembling wings, paired with a short skirt that reached only midway down her thighs.

Her outfit evoked an adorable swan-themed ballerina, complete with silky white gloves and semi-transparent white thigh-high stockings. Instead of ballet shoes, she wore white high heels, perhaps to appear taller.

“Hmm?! Aha! There you are big brother! Where have you been all this time?! I demanded your presence, and you were nowhere!” she exclaimed, pointing accusingly at him. “And… who are these Undead roaming the house? Father hasn’t explained anything!”

“Ahh… Chalk…” Blank sighed wearily. “These are our guests—valuable customers. Please refrain from mistreating them.”

“Hah! Undead as valuable guests and customers?! What nonsense, you dummy!” she laughed haughtily. “I never knew big brother Blank had such a sense of humor! Ohohohohoho!”
