Brand New Life Online: Rise Of The Goddess Of Harvest

—–

FLAAASH!

Mark summoned a bright sphere of sunlight and transformed it into a powerful beam that pierced the ceiling. A large hole appeared, and chunks of rock crashed into the nearby farm, crushing several plants.

“Ah! S-Sorry!” He dashed to clean up the mess he had made.

“Hmmm…” Elayne nodded, analyzing the effect with Gardenia. “Then mine is related to the earth?”

She struck the ground with her barefoot. The soil beneath them trembled, and a massive pillar twenty meters tall erupted from nowhere. Then dozens more rose one after another.

“Ooooh! It amplifies the Earth element!” Elayne said happily.

“Yeah, that’s definitely not something you can normally do!” Gardenia replied. “That’s no ordinary spell either. It’s amazing, almost like a Pseudo Magic Circle?”

“You think so?” Elayne asked, waving her hand as the earth returned to normal. “It’s kind of hard to control properly, though…”

“Does anything new show up in your Status?” Gardenia wondered.

“Hmmm…” Elayne checked her Status and discovered the truth.

“Eeeeh?! No way! Those ’Spell Formulas’ became actual Cultivation Methods!” Elayne exclaimed. “That’s why they feel like they can grow over time. Normal spells don’t do that unless they’re inside a Magic Circle and you evolve them with new runes…! A-Also my Spiritual Heart and my Soul ranked up! Wow…! No wonder I feel so much better now! I’m overflowing with Spirit Power. This is amazing, Gardenia! I even got a new Soul Treasure—it’s the sapling?!”

Elayne was overjoyed by everything she had gained just from sleeping and entering that world a second time.

Even the sapling she had helped nurture had now been fully refined into a Soul Treasure, granting her a boost in Spirit Energy regeneration and extra Mana.

“Wow, what kind of being is she that she can just hand you a Cultivation Method and call it a simple spell?” Gardenia wondered. “Wait, you have mine too?”

“I guess it’s because we’re connected…” Elayne said. “That’s nice, right? We can find out what Spirit Blossoming does…”

“But first, let’s see…” Elayne looked at her Status with pride.

“It looks so nice now!” Elayne smiled. “It’s finally starting to look fuller than before. Wow! One million Spiritual Energy Reserves? Over three hundred thousand Spirit Power?! Maybe we can unlock something new, Gardenia? What do you think?”

“Hmmm, I guess we could try,” Gardenia said. “Your Spiritual Heart is big enough now… What do you have in mind?”

“I’m not sure what’s available,” Elayne admitted. “Do you have a list?”

“Yeah, your soul grew stronger, so some new fragments appeared. Check it,” Gardenia replied.

Elayne and Gardenia stared at the new Status Screen, showing what remained inside the bubble. Things that had been completely lost suddenly reappeared, though only as fragments.

“Hm?! My Unique Abilities…! But they’re… weakened, destroyed… just fragments…?” Elayne’s eyebrows twitched.

“Yeah, sadly they can’t exert the same power as before,” Gardenia explained. “They’re weakened versions. You’ll have to feed them Soul Essence gradually… maybe re-learn them.”

“Wow…” Elayne nodded, rubbing her chin. “How much do they cost?”

“Uhh, a lot. The cheapest is around 500,000 Spirit Power. You shouldn’t spend that much right now,” Gardenia warned.

“Ahhh, what about the Soul Traits?” Elayne asked.

“Both are 300,000 each…” Gardenia said. “Maybe go for one of those? The Spiritual Heart Beasts are also available, but they’ll take time to grow and will need to mutate to adapt to the Netherworld.”

“Huh, for now… I think… Damn, what should I choose? Mystic Bellflower or Pagoda?”

“Both will be weaker versions too…” Gardenia reminded her. “But now that they have Tiers, they can grow past their previous limits for some reason… They might evolve into even stronger forms.”

“Oh, that’s interesting!” Elayne nodded. “Hmmm, okay, I suppose I’ll go for…”
