King of Hundred Victories Saber

Chapter 534: Chapter 184: Recuperating in the Deep Mountains, Gentle Companionship, Overflowing Love (Part 4)

Finally, under Shi Feiyang’s attentive care, a few days later, Yili’s complexion gradually regained a touch of color.

Her breathing became a bit more steady, and her once weak pulse started to gain strength.

Shi Feiyang was overjoyed; he held Yili’s hand tightly, his eyes moist, and tears welled up in his eyes as he murmured, ”Yili, you finally woke up, you finally woke up...”

Yet, Yili still had her eyes tightly closed, immersed in slumber, but the signs of life had returned to her, akin to new buds breaking through the soil in spring, full of life and hope.

Shi Feiyang stayed by Yili’s side, caring day and night, as if guarding the most precious treasure in the world.

In the morning, the first ray of sunlight was like gentle fingers, piercing through the thin mist, and casting upon the tent.

Shi Feiyang was already up, walked out of the tent, and the beauty of Four Sisters Mountain was revealed unreservedly in the morning light.

The hills and fields were covered with alpine rhododendrons, resembling rosy clouds from the sky, spreading layer upon layer, with dewdrops on the petals like crystalline pearls, sparkling under the gentle caress of sunlight.

On the hillside, patches of fir forests towered into the clouds, with straight trunks like loyal guards, silently protecting this sacred woodland.

In the distance, a snow leopard’s agile figure flashed by like lightning.

Its gray-white fur perfectly blended with the snowy landscape, only its lively eyes emitted an awe-inspiring majesty.

Shi Feiyang knew well that for Yili to recover quickly, sufficient nutrition was essential.

His eyes were firm, and he drew the Celestial Frost Blade, activating the Bright Jade Technique, causing a faint blue light to emanate from his body.

He locked onto the snow leopard’s position and dashed forward like a black whirlwind.

When he got close to the snow leopard, the Celestial Frost Blade in his hand flashed cold, precisely freezing the snow leopard’s blood.

Then, Shi Feiyang raised his hand, swung his knife, and severed the snow leopard’s head with one stroke.

Returning to the tent, he skillfully made a fire to roast the meat, and finely cut the roasted snow leopard meat, then set up the tent and took the warm blood of the snow leopard, feeding it to Yili bit by bit.

During these days, Shi Feiyang would make a fire and roast meat daily, and have a hearty meal.

Time quietly passed, Yili remained in a coma, but because of the abundant food and rich nutrients, Shi Feiyang gradually gained weight, his weight having increased by at least fifty pounds.

Looking at his increasingly rounded body, Shi Feiyang couldn’t help but lament the whims of fate, the twists of destiny; originally, he came with Yili to recuperate, but unexpectedly, the one who became fatter was himself. After finishing eating this snow leopard, he carried Yili walking through the mountain forests, searching for edible plants.

Occasionally, he discovered a patch of fresh fiddlehead ferns, their leaves curled like fists, emitting a refreshing and pleasant scent.

Shi Feiyang was full of joy, he collected a basket of them, returned to the tent, washed them with pure snow water, built a fire, cooked them simply, and tried feeding them to Yili. Although Yili remained unconscious, Shi Feiyang never had a thought of giving up, each time he fed her, it was filled with his deep care and affection for Yili.

To find more rare herbs, Shi Feiyang decided to venture deeper into the forest.

Along the way, a fluffy little bear appeared in his sight.

The little bear had a round body, black and white fur, and was munching on bamboo with enjoyment, looking adorably clumsy.

However, for Yili, Shi Feiyang hardened his heart, and with one stroke, took the little bear’s blood to feed Yili.

After resting and recuperating here for a few days, he carried Yili onwards.

Under a shaded cliff, he joyfully discovered several bulbs of Fritillaria, their tubers plump and full, which, in his eyes, were rare and valuable medicine.

Shi Feiyang carefully harvested them, filled with anticipation to aid Yili’s recovery.

However, the forest was not always peaceful and harmonious.

One day, as Shi Feiyang went out searching for food, he suddenly encountered a hungry grizzly bear. The bear was enormous, over two people tall, and it opened its blood-red mouth, emitting a deafening roar, with sound waves rolling, as if to collapse the entire forest.

Shi Feiyang quickly drew the Celestial Frost Blade, his eyes sharp, fully prepared.

The grizzly bear charged, bringing a gust of wind, Shi Feiyang sidestepped swiftly, moving as nimbly as a leopard, swinging his knife at the grizzly bear.

After a fierce battle, Shi Feiyang successfully killed the grizzly bear.

Returning to the tent, Shi Feiyang prepared the medicine for Yili and fed her.

A few more days passed, Yili’s complexion became increasingly rosy, and her life signs became more stable.

Finally, on a sunny afternoon, Yili’s fingers moved slightly, then she slowly opened her eyes.

Shi Feiyang was so excited his eyes turned red, he quickly grasped Yili’s hand, his voice trembling as he said, ”Yili, you finally woke up!”

Yili’s eyes were full of confusion, she looked at Shi Feiyang’s concerned face in front of her, then at the unfamiliar surroundings, trying hard to remember everything that happened.

Shi Feiyang recounted their experiences during this time, and Yili listened with eyes moist, moved to the point of tears, and she couldn’t help but tightly embrace Shi Feiyang. After this, Yili slowly regained her strength under Shi Feiyang’s companionship.

As Yili’s body gradually recovered, the love in her heart for Shi Feiyang grew ever stronger.

One day, with sunlight gently scattered in the forest, Yili, blushing, mustered the courage to say to Shi Feiyang, ”Feiyang, during this time, your attentive care, I’ve seen it, and kept it in my heart. I want to always be by your side, will you marry me?”
