School Beauty's Personal Crazy Young Master

Chapter 1073: Chapter 1159: Competing in Gun Technique

Almost everyone on the scene thought Chen Nan was bragging.

Even Jiang Xiaomi was somewhat uncertain. Although she knew Chen Nan was highly skilled in martial arts, she had never seen him use a gun and didn’t know how good his shooting skills actually were.

Only Liu Tiantian believed Chen Nan’s words without doubt.

She had never played with guns and didn’t understand concepts like effective range. She only believed Chen Nan was capable of anything, and if he dared to say this, he could certainly do it.

Cheng Bingbing stood up, walked up to Chen Nan, handed him a clip, and said, ”Try hitting a ten-ring on the fifty-meter target for me to see.”

”You still don’t believe, huh, sigh!”

Chen Nan sighed, quickly replaced the clip Cheng Bingbing handed him, disabled the safety, raised the gun, and pulled the trigger on the first target with remarkable speed, spending almost no time aiming.

”Bang!”

Amid everyone’s surprise at Chen Nan’s speed, the gunshot rang out.

He fired directly without even aiming!

Cheng Bingbing was about to scold Chen Nan for fooling around, but when she looked at the fifty-meter target, she saw a bullseye, without the slightest deviation.

”This...”

Cheng Bingbing was dumbfounded.

Such shooting skill made her, as a soldier, feel inferior.

”Instructor, do you believe now?” Chen Nan turned to Cheng Bingbing.

Cheng Bingbing rubbed her eyes, still somewhat skeptical of Chen Nan’s prowess, pointed to the second target, and said, ”Try hitting the second one.”

”Bang!”

Chen Nan raised his hand and fired.

The bullet went through the bullseye again, another ten-ring without any deviation.

Cheng Bingbing was really stunned; hitting a ten-ring at fifty meters isn’t hard, but doing what Chen Nan did, raising his hand and firing directly, almost without spending time aiming, takes extraordinary skill.

Just then, Instructor Wang Douzi of Class Two heard the gunshots and walked over.

Looking at the target fifteen meters away, he laughed and said, ”Ice Beauty, performing shooting skills for the students?”

Cheng Bingbing glanced at him: ”I didn’t shoot this.”

”You didn’t shoot it?”

Wang Douzi was taken aback, stared at the fifty-meter target, and said, ”Are you kidding? You won’t tell me that these two ten-rings are your student’s doing, will you?”

Cheng Bingbing nodded and pointed at Chen Nan: ”The gun’s in his hands, isn’t it?”

”You shot it?”

Wang Douzi sneered at Chen Nan, obviously not believing him.

Chen Nan turned to look at Wang Douzi, frowned, and said, ”What’s the matter, Instructor Wang? Judging by your tone, you seem a bit dismissive of me, huh?”

”I can understand if Ice Beauty brags a little, but you wouldn’t be shameless enough to follow suit, would you?” Wang Douzi pointed at the target area, saying, ”The fifty-meter target, even newly trained soldiers for that month might not achieve this, never mind a student who’s never served.”

Chen Nan chuckled and pointed at the first target, saying, ”To the left of the existing bullet hole, I’ll hit another ten-ring. This time, do open your eyes wide and watch carefully.”

Open your eyes wide!

Wang Douzi got angry upon hearing this: ”Why are you cursing?”

”Who’s cursing? I just meant for you to open your eyes...” Chen Nan realized his slip of the tongue, quickly corrected himself, and said, ”I’m sorry, I misspoke, just keep your eyes peeled.”

”Hmph, I’m watching!” Wang Douzi replied in annoyance.

He was furious but had no choice. Since Chen Nan admitted he misspoke, he couldn’t engage in verbal sparring with him.

Chen Nan raised his gun, aimed at the first target, and pulled the trigger. The bullet instantly shot out at a speed beyond the average person’s eye and penetrated the bullseye, creating another bullet hole to the left of the previous one.

”This... this...”

Wang Douzi thought he was seeing things and rubbed his eyes vigorously several times.

No matter how much he rubbed, even rubbed his eyes sore, that bullet hole still remained, clearly not an illusion.

Cheng Bingbing said, ”Wang Douzi, do you believe now?”

Wang Douzi was shocked into silence.

Chen Nan lowered his gun and teased, ”Instructor Wang, didn’t you see clearly? Should I shoot again to make it clearer for you?”

Wang Douzi’s face turned a bit ugly, responding with a cold snort, ”What’s there to boast about? Just fifty meters, it’s nothing special.”

”I never said I’m special either!”

Chen Nan touched his chin provocatively and said, ”Since Instructor Wang holds such a low opinion of me, why not have a competition?”

Wang Douzi scoffed, ”You? Compete with me?”

”What’s the matter? Is Instructor Wang looking down on me?” Chen Nan teased.

Chen Nan wasn’t picking a fight for no reason; it might be because on the first day when the two classes raced uphill, Wang Douzi felt humiliated and held a grudge. During the military training days, he often liked to show off his presence in Class One.

Moreover, his leering eyes when looking at Cheng Bingbing made all the boys in class displeased.

In fact, none of the students in Class One liked Wang Douzi.

Therefore, Chen Nan’s challenge to Wang Douzi was very popular among the class, with everyone cheering him on.

Wang Douzi felt embarrassed, being a soldier, challenged by a student; he had no choice but to accept the challenge. Only by defeating Chen Nan could he stop the students from being so arrogant.

Glancing at Chen Nan, Wang Douzi said, ”This is to your own detriment, don’t blame me for bullying the young.”

”Of course not, Instructor Wang is honoring me by competing. Rest assured, no matter what, I’ll definitely give you face, ensuring you lose miserably.”

Listening to Chen Nan, Wang Douzi was thoroughly enraged—

”Bingbing, is your student really this ignorant?”

”It’s better to call me by my full name,” Cheng Bingbing said calmly with a smile, ”I don’t think he’s bragging at all. You might not necessarily be his match.”

”What!”

Wang Douzi was almost infuriated, pointing at Chen Nan and looking at Cheng Bingbing: ”You’re saying I’m not his match?”

Cheng Bingbing shrugged and said, ”You’ll find out by competing.”

Based on Chen Nan’s speed in assembling and disassembling guns earlier and those three shots just now, she had a lot of confidence in Chen Nan’s shooting skills.

Chen Nan nodded and said, ”Exactly, Instructor Wang, let’s see who’s truly skilled. Want to try three hundred meters?”
