Chapter 2054: Chapter 2054: Food Hunting

After changing their clothes, they left looking for the street food. Because it was the weekend, they had the biggest night market that was full of street food vendors. So, they decided to go there.

It took about 10 minutes to walk to the night market. Yu Qi told Long Hui that he did not have to drive the car to go over there. It was because it was not safe to park such an expensive car on the side road. If something happened to the car, Liang Mo Han might cry his eyes out.

In fact, they could enjoy walking while holding their hands together. So, it would not be a horrible experience.

They arrived at the night market. There were a lot of people. Because of the crowd, Long Hui held Yu Qi’s hand tightly afraid that he might lose her in the crowd.

Yu Qi was excited to see the street food. It had been a long time since she tasted the food. The first food that she wanted to eat was the street barbecue. The smell enhanced Yu Qi’s desire to eat the street barbecue.

”Lao ye, give me ten of them.” Yu Qi said when it was her turn to buy it.

”Beef or chicken?” The seller asked.

”Hmm... Give me five chicken and five beef.” Yu Qi divided that.

She wanted to taste both.

”Miss, are you sure that you can finish it?” The seller asked.

Yu Qi grinned. ”Don’t worry about that. If I can not finish them, I can give them to him.”

”Oh, you are with your boyfriend. That’s great, then. By the way, you and your boyfriend are very good-looking.” The seller said.

”Thank you, Lao ye.” Yu Qi smiled.

”Here you are. Five chicken and five beef. It is good to eat while it is hot.” Lao Ye gave the package to Yu Qi.

Without saying anything, Long Hui just took his wallet and paid for the purchase.

”Thank.” Lao ye said.

Long Hui just nodded.

Because Yu Qi wanted to eat them right now, they stepped out of the crowd first. After finding the empty space, Yu Qi took out one of the street barbecues and gave it to Long Hui.

”Here you are.” Yu Qi said.

Long Hui took it. Yu Qi was watching him eat. Long Hui put it in her mouth.

”Not bad.” Long Hui nodded.

Yu Qi then took one for herself and started eating it. Probably because she did not eat, her stomach was hungry. She felt the street barbecue was quite delicious. The savoury and spicy tastes matched each other pretty well.

After finishing the street barbecue, they continued their food hunting again. The next food was Chinese Hamburger. Yu Qi bought two of them. Because the stall prepared some chairs and tables, their customers could eat the Chinese hamburger there. It was the same for Yu Qi and Long Hui. They ate there.

After having food, they wanted to drink some drinks. They found a stall that sold only drinks. They sold a lot of drinks. They had a lot of fruit drinks, chocolate, tea and also coffee.

When Yu Qi was selecting the drinks, Long Hui suddenly let go of her hands and grabbed someone. Then, people around were stunned as they heard someone shout in pain.

”Ah... Ah... My shoulder.”

Long Hui held down a young man probably in his teenage. The young man still shouted in pain.

”You... Let me go.” The young man shouted at Long Hui.

Long Hui applied more force.

”Ouch... Please... Don’t press more.” The young man began to beg for mercy from Long Hui.

”You are pickpocketing me.” Long Hui stated.

”Yes... Yes... I am sorry. Please let me go.” The young man admitted his wrongdoing.

One of the onlookers felt pity for the young man. He tried to talk to Long Hui.

”Just let him go. He probably would not try it anymore.” The person said.

Long Hui pressed the young man using his legs. Then, he reached out for the sling bag owned by that young man. He opened that sling bag and poured everything on the ground.

Turned out, a lot of wallets fell on the ground. It seemed he had harvested a lot.

The person who just spoke out for the young man earlier suddenly checked his pocket. He realized that his wallet was missing too because he saw a similar wallet on the ground. He rushed and grabbed the wallet. He checked the inside.

”Fuck! It is my wallet. You bastard! How dare you steal my wallet?” The person shouted in anger at the young man. ”Let’s send him to the police station.”

People were dumbfounded by the change of attitude. Earlier, when he begged for the young man. When he found out that the young man was also stealing his wallet, he changed his tune. Some people also realized that their wallets had been robbed by this pickpocket. They had their wallet back. However, there were still unclaimed wallets. The owners probably did not realize that their wallets had been robbed.

The victims wanted to send the pickpocket to the police station. Long Hui handed over the pickpocket to the victims. He was not being robbed. He managed to avoid being robbed. So, he did not need to go to the police station.

He also did not want to waste the time. It was better to spend time with his fiance. Yu Qi who was just watching from the side gave Long Hui the drink that she just bought.

”Good job, Colonel Long.” Yu Qi smiled.
