Chapter 2028: Chapter 2028: The Reporter Kneels Down

Yao Ran bit her lips as she watched them flirting with each other. She could feel the pain in her heart.

”Since Brother Long is fine, I will leave first.” Yao Ran left the place in a hurry.

Long Hui and Yu Qi did not pay any attention to Yao Ran. They entered the car and Long Hui started to drive.

”Oh... Let’s drop off at the supermarket first. We have run out of meat. Need to buy meet.” Yu Qi said.

”Okay.” Long Hui drove to the supermarket.

Both of them entered the supermarket. It was a peak hour when many people came and bought their things after a day of working. So, there were a lot of people at the supermarket. When Yu Qi and Long Hui entered it, they gained a lot of attention.

They ignored those people and went to the section where the meat was sold. Yu Qi took a lot of the meat. Her contracted beasts liked to eat meat. So, she should buy a lot.

”Qi Qi, buy chicken too.” Long Hui said.

”Oh... Yes...” Yu Qi took the chicken as well.

While they were buying, someone was looking at him. It was the reporter who blocked Long Hui’s path yesterday. The reporter remembered the Long Hui. The man’s yesterday had this kind of body proportion. The reporter was sure that this was the man he met yesterday.

He wanted to get something from the man. So, he approached the man. The man needed to pay him for scaring him like that yesterday. He stopped in front of the man.

Yu Qi looked at the reporter, feeling confused by the sudden interference.

”What are you doing?” Yu Qi asked.

”You need to pay me because you scared me yesterday.” The reporter demanded.

He did not look at Yu Qi and Long Hui’s face yet. When he finally looked up at their faces, he froze. He knew their identity. Long Hui and Yu Qi. This couple was very famous.

”Oh... You need me to pay you?” Long Hui asked the reporter in a deep voice.

The reporter started to tremble. ”No... No... I have mistaken you for someone.”

”I don’t think so. We met at the airport yesterday, did we?” Long Hui narrowed his eyes.

The reporter was scared to his bones. He did not expect that Long Hui would remember him. ”What is going on?” Yu Qi asked Long Hui.

”Yesterday, when I landed down, coming out of the plane, this man blocked my path, wanting me to take off my mask. He wanted to take my picture.” Long Hui reported everything happened yesterday.

”Oh....” Yu Qi started to stare at the reporter sharply. ”You want to take my fiancé’s picture without his consent?”

”No... No... I don’t dare to do that.” The reporter shook his head.

”What company do you work for?” Yu Qi asked.

The reporter kneeled down. ”Miss Tang, please forgive me. I swear that I will never disturb your and your fiancé’s life anymore. Please let me go this once.”

Yu Qi was startled when she saw the reporter kneel down. She did not expect him to give up so soon. She just wanted to scare the man. It was not like she would do anything to him.

People were watching. They wondered what was going on over there.

”Stand up.” Long Hui ordered.

The reporter did not dare to defy the order. He stood up immediately.

”If you dare to do something like that again...” Long Hui did not finish his sentence.

”I will never do something like this to you again.” The reporter said. Loud and clear.

”Good. Leave.” Long Hui told the reporter to get lost.

The reporter ran away like a ghost was chasing after him.

”I never expect him to be so scared like that.” Yu Qi said.

”He knew us and knew that we were capable of doing to him. That is why he is scared of us.” Long Hui stated.

”Why did he want to take your picture?” Yu Qi asked.

”Well, I believe he thought that I am probably the actor who just returned to the country.” Long Hui said.

”How do you know about that?” Yu Qi asked.

”There were a bunch of people waiting for someone. They were holding a big banner with a caption. ’THE MOST HANDSOME ACTOR, XUE YANG.’ The reporter probably thought I was the actor at first. When he confronted me face to face, he realized that I was not the actor.

However, he insisted on taking my picture probably because I was too handsome even though I was wearing a mask at that time.” Long Hui explained.

Yu Qi almost stumbled when she heard Long Hui praise himself. Long Hui quickly caught his beloved Qi Qi.

”I don’t know that you are so narcissistic.” Yu Qi turned around and said that to Long Hui. Long Hui grinned. ”What? I am just telling the truth. You can not deny the fact that I am handsome. Otherwise, how can you accept me as your soul mate?”

Yu Qi coughed to cover the embarrassment. As Long Hui said, she could not deny that. Even when she was Qin Yue, she liked Long Hui when he was Xie Likui because he was too handsome.

”Humph! You are annoying.” Yu Qi walked leaving Long Hui.

”Even though I am annoying, you still love me so much, am I right?” Long Hui teased Yu Qi. ***Thank you, from, your shameless author, ZerahNeko***
