1973 Chapter 1973: Grandpa Mu Also Got Kidnapped

She continued. ”Of course, I can not endanger your life. We can talk about this later. We need to leave this place first.”

Yu Qi took out a dagger and cut the rope that tied Grandpa Tang. She scanned Grandpa Tang if he had any injury. Fortunately, Grandpa Tang was fine. Just a little dehydrated.

”How about the men outside?” Grandpa Tang asked.

”When I arrived just now, I didn’t see anyone. Just some blood on the floor.” Yu Qi stated.

Grandpa Tang and Yu Qi walked out of the room. As Yu Qi said, there was no one around. Grandpa Tang also saw the blood on the floor. It seemed there was a fight happening here.

”Let’s leave this place now.” Grandpa Tang did not want to stay at this place anymore. It was too creeping.

They stepped out of the building. It was dark around since only this building had a source of light.

”How do you get here?” Grandpa Tang asked.

”Oh...” Yu Qi suddenly remembered that she got here riding Aoi.

”Do you come here with the car?” Grandpa Tang asked.

”Yes, but I think it is gone.” Yu Qi said.

”Gone?” Grandpa Tang was surprised.

”Yeah. I think it has been stolen.” Yu Qi made an excuse.

”So, those kidnappers ran away with the car that you brought over.” Grandpa Tang clicked his tongue.

”You wait here, Grandpa. I will look around this building to see if there is something that we can use to leave this place.” Yu Qi suggested.

”Let’s go together.” Grandpa Tang said.

He was worried that there were still people left. They might hurt Yu Qi.

”Okay.” Yu Qi nodded.

So, they walked around the building. They saw a separate building. It was probably a garage. Yu Qi looked around to find any switch to see if she could open the door of this building.

Luckily for her, she found one. She clicked on the switch. The door to the building opened up. They could see two cars parked inside.

Yu Qi went to check the car. The key was still there. She tried to start on the engine. The car engine started perfectly.

”Grandpa, I think we can drive this.” Yu Qi said.

”Are you sure that we can use this car? We might be a thief for driving this car without permission.” Grandpa Tang was worried.

”Grandpa, we can just drive to the police station. The police were already alerted that you had been kidnapped. If the owner of this car accused us of stealing the car, we can retort back by saying that we found the car in the building that had been used as a crime scene. The owner probably had much more things to think.” Yu Qi smiled.

”Hmm... Let’s do as you say.” Grandpa Tang nodded.

So, they left this place by the car that they had found. They went straight to the police station.

The police officers were surprised when they saw Grandpa Tang who had been kidnapped at their station. Yu Qi and Grandpa Tang came forward and explained the situation to the police officers.

The police officers were surprised to hear the story from Grandpa Tang and Yu Qi. It was like in the movie. They did not expect to hear it in the real world.

However, the police officer reprimanded Yu Qi that she should not go and meet the kidnappers on her own. Yu Qi replied to the police officer if she did not go alone, her grandfather’s life might be in danger. She could not risk that.

They returned to the hotel. The police officer told them that they would be on high alert in case suspicious people came to the hotel.

Yu Qi just sent Grandpa Tang into his hotel room. Right after that, she received a phone call from Grandpa Sang.

”Yu Qi, your grandfather went missing.” Grandpa Sang said.

”When do you realize he went missing?” Yu Qi asked.

”Just now. His assistant told me When you called me earlier to confirm your grandfather’s location, his assistant told me that your grandfather was in the restroom. After that, he returned to his office to do his work. He had a business meeting at dinner. They were having a dinner at a restaurant.

Then, the assistant told me that he woke up to see their business partner but your grandfather is gone. He remembered that I called him asking about your grandfather’s location. So, he thought I knew something.

I explained that matter to him. The assistant understood. He said that he would go

and make a police report about Grandpa Mu’s missing.” Grandpa Sang explained.

”Call him and ask him not to do the report first.” Yu Qi said.

”What? Why?” Grandpa Sang asked.

”I have a way to find Grandfather.” Yu Qi stated.

”But you still have something else to worry about. How about Jiang Man? How is he? Do you already find him?” Grandpa Sang asked.

”I already found him. He is safe and sound.” Yu Qi said.

”Already? Then, you really have a way to find your grandfather?” Grandpa Sang asked again for confirmation.

”Yes. Call the assistant now. Tell him not to tell anyone. I will definitely bring Grandfather back.” Yu Qi said.

”Yes, I will call him right now.” Grandpa Sang nodded.

Grandpa Sang ended the call and called Grandpa Mu’s assistant. He explained the situation to Grandpa Mu’s assistant.
