Chapter 1870 1870: Fired

Seeing Yu Qi’s reaction, Elder Mong could see that she was probably someone that Yu Qi knew or close with. ”They probably did something to her because she used to refuse to help them. But after a while, she became expressionless and just did whatever they asked her to do.” Elder Mong said.

”Then, do you see this man before?” Yu Qi showed another picture. This time, it was a man

Elder Mong took a look at the picture. He shook his head. He had never seen him before. ”Oh...” Yu Qi was feeling down. She should not feel like this. At least, she found out more about her mother. She took a deep breath and adjusted her mood. ”Elder Mong, thank you for your information.” Yu Qi smiled. .....

”Dad.” Mu Yian called her father.

Mu Li Zei looked over at his daughter. ”Hmm... What is it?” Mu Li Zei noticed her daughter who seemed to want to talk about something. ”Let’s go to my study.” ”Hmm...” Mu Yian followed her father.

Both of them took their seats.

”So, what is it?” Mu Li Zei asked.

”I saw Tang Yu Qi meeting with Grandfather the other day.” Mu Yian stated.

”Tang Yu Qi?” Mu Li Zei raised his eyebrow. He tried to recall the name.

”Grandfather’s another granddaughter. Daughter of Mu Xiao Ye.” Mu Yian stated Yu Qi’s identity. ”Oh... that one... You say she met your grandfather. Where?” Mu Li Zei asked.

”At the Restaurant Intown.” Mu Yian said. ”I went to greet her and Grandfather.” ”What is their reaction?” Mu Li Zei wanted to know.

”Grandfather seemed surprised to see me there. As for Tang Yu Qi, she was very calm and even smiled at me.” Mu Yian said. ”Father, do you think they know about their relationship?” ”Your grandfather probably knows it. Since Tang Yu Qi had a similar face to his first wife, he probably had someone check about Tang Yu Qi. He probably did not tell Tang Yu Qi because he did not want to disturb her life. As for Tang Yu Qi, I don’t know whether she knew about him. But I think it is more than she did not know about that.” Mu Li Zei stated his theories.

”If Grandfather did not want to disturb her life, is it possible that he did not go to write her in his will?” Mu Yian asked.

”No... if he knows that Tang Yu Qi is his granddaughter, he will definitely be writing her name as well in his will. We can not cross that idea.” Mu Li Zei tapped his finger on the table.

”So, father, how is going on with your side? Do you get the copy of his will?” Mu Yian wanted to know that.

”Not yet. Father is really guarded when it comes to his will.” Mu Li Zei clicked his tongue. ”I will help you as well to look at the thing. I know that in the end, we will get to the bottom of this matter.” Mu Yian smiled.

”Hmm...” Mu Li Zei agreed with his daughter. ....

The reporter who wrote the article about Yu Qi was stunned when his boss announced that he had been fired. ”You are fired. I don’t want such an immoral person like you to be working in my company.” His boss said.

”Mr Du, wait a minute. I can explain it.” The reporter said.

”Explain what? What to be explained when it was clear that you did such a disgusting thing? You cheated on your wife is one thing. But you even recorded the deeds and made a collection of them. That is called disgusting.” Mr Du said. ”I don’t mean to send those videos to others.” The reporter said.

”Whether you do or not, it does not matter.” Mr Du stated. ”You have until this evening to pack all of your belongings and leave.” ”Mr Du... Please... Please give me a chance.” The reporter kneeled and begged his boss.

He wanted to hug Mr Du’s legs but Mr Du stepped back backing out of his reach. ”Stop begging. You know that I can not do that. I have other employees to take care of. If I let you off, the other employees would think that I am okay with such things. My reputation will be ruined. Just leave. And just you know, that company will not be paying you any severance pay since what you did, tarnished the company’s reputation.” Mr Du dropped another bomb.

Then, his boss added the warning. ”If you don’t get out of my room, I will call security to drag you out and throw all of your belongings.”

The reporter knew that his boss would not change at all. He walked out of the boss’s room. When his coworkers saw him, they showed disgusting expressions, especially the female co-workers.

The reporter was feeling down. Right now, his wife has filed for divorce. His wife went back to her parent’s house. He went there to talk with his wife yesterday. But his wife refused to talk to him.

His father-in-law and his brother-in-law threatened to beat him up if he refused to leave. He could not help to feel scared because his father-in-law and brother-in-law were the coaches of a small Taekwondo studio.

If he got beaten up by them, that would be horrible and he probably would end up staying at the hospital for a couple of months.
