Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

Yu Qi returned to the penthouse and entered the space. It seemed Long Hui was lying on the ground as well as her contracted beasts. Even Rukh was there.

”What happened here?” Yu Qi asked Bo Ya who looked at some paper.

”They were just finished sparring each other.” Bo Ya stated.

”They were sparring until they were exhausted like this?” Yu Qi asked, feeling surprised.

”Yes...” Bo Ya nodded.

”Even Rukh?” Yu Qi could not believe it.

”Yes. In fact, he was sparing with your fiance for a long time. Total in 4 hours.” Bo Ya said after looking at the paper.

”You record their fight?” Yu Qi asked.

”Yes. It might be helpful to you and others.” Bo Ya said.

”Bo Ya, you are so amazing. Thank you.” Yu Qi smiled gently as she patted Bo Ya’s head.

”Not fair. I want Master to pat my head too.” Shino said.

Hearing this, her contracted beasts except for Rukh, rushed to her side asking for a pat on their heads. Yu Qi could not help but laugh and proceeded to pat their head one by one.

....

The next day, the parents whose children had been saved from the fire came and wanted to meet Yu Qi. They even waited for her after being told that Yu Qi was in the middle of surgery.

Yu Qi finished the surgery and was thinking of getting some rest before a nurse came over and told Yu Qi about the parent’s arrival.

Yu Qi thought they did not come with good intentions. So she did not want to go and meet them. However, a nurse explained the situation. If they came with good intentions, she would go and meet them. It seemed they also brought their children too. Yu Qi stopped in front of them.

”Doctor Yu Qi, we would like to thank you for saving our children.” One of the parents stepped forward and expressed their gratitude.

”Kids, come here and thank this doctor for saving you from the fire.” The parents called their children.

The four children stepped forward and bowed to Yu Qi.

”Doctor Yu Qi, thank you for saving us. We will cherish the second chance that you gave to us.” The children stated.

Yu Qi bent down to be at the same eye level as the children.

”If you want to thank me, you need to follow my advice. First, listen well to your parent. Second, study well. That’s all.” Yu Qi advised.

”If I listen to my parent and study well, I can be like you?” One of the children asked.

”Oh, you want to be a doctor?” Yu Qi looked at the boy.

The boy nodded.

”I am sure that if you work hard for it, you can be a doctor like me.” Yu Qi said.

”Hmm... I will work hard for that.” The boy looked determined.

”We have our future doctor here.” Yu Qi said.

”I don’t want to be a doctor. I want to be a pilot.” The second boy said.

”I want to be a racer. So that, I can drive a fast car.” The third boy said.

”I want to be an actor.” The last boy said.

They started to mention what they wanted to be in the future. Everyone was laughing.

The parents and children were leaving. One of the parents approached Yu Qi alone. It was the parent who scolded Yu Qi at the fire incident.

”Doctor Yu Qi, I am sorry for my behavior yesterday, scolding you out of the blue.” The woman said.

”I understand your feelings at that moment. I know that you were probably worried about your son. So, let’s just forget about it.” Yu Qi said.

”They are children that you saved from the fire yesterday?” Nurse Shin asked.

”Yeah. They are.” Yu Qi said.

”I heard the shopping mall is closed due to a police investigation. The authorities are still trying to determine the cause of the fire. That is what the news said last night.” Nurse Shin informed.

”Well, it is kind of strange that the fire can occur at a place like that.” Yu Qi said.

”So, why are you at the shopping mall yesterday, Doctor Yu Qi?” Another nurse asked.

”Why do you need to ask that?” Nurse Shin grinned. ”She must be on a date with her handsome fiance.” Yu Qi coughed to cover her embarrassment. She needed to leave now. ”I will go to my room. You should not talk anymore and do your work.” After saying that, Yu Qi ran away leaving the nurses who had been grinning while looking at her. She received a message from Dian Qi Qi. Dian Qi Qi missed her and wanted to see her as well. She also mentioned that Great-Grandpa Dian also wanted to see her. She also reported about their battle preparation. Dian Zin Fang’s strength improved a lot. Seeing this message, she was thinking of going to Fanghai Nation this weekend. After telling about the incoming battle, she had not been to see Dian’s Family. Well, she would ask Long Hui about this. If he could not go with her, she would go alone. Oh, she should ask Dian Shu Xian to tag along. He also did not return to Fanghai Nation for such a long time. It would be a good chance for him to take a break and go to see his family.
