Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

”So, you mean, someone posted the mission to the black market and they took it?” Yu Qi asked.

”Yeah. I guess they are not alone. There are other people. I saw them at the ceremony earlier.” Long Hui gritted his teeth.

”We are lucky since we stay in my space for the night. Otherwise, I might get caught by them.” Yu Qi sighed.

”Don’t worry. I will protect you.” Long Hui hugged his beloved Qi Qi.

”Master, master, are you okay?” Shino asked.

”Yeah, Master, are you okay?” Aoi asked too.

”I am okay. Don’t worry.” Yu Qi smiled.

…

The news about the three men being caught in Yu Qi and Long Hui’s room was not being spread among common people but others that knew it. The organizations that wanted Yu Qi heard the news.

They knew that the three men were from Tiger Mercenary Organization.

”What? They got caught?” A man from Tiger Mercenary Organization asked.

It was their leader, Allen Cain. He would not believe this. X was one of the best members of their organization. How could someone like him fail the mission?

They could not do anything right now. The three of them must have someone to observe them. If he sent someone to meet them, that person would be also caught. He did not want to take a risk. He would let the time decide it.

Long Hui and Yu Qi would return to their country. It would be time when he had his move. However, he did not expect that Long Hui and Yu Qi would also take the three men back to their country too.

From the spies, they heard that three of them had been paralyzed, so, the three men could not do anything. When they heard that, they decided to observe first before doing anything else.

Arrived at Binhai Nation, the three men had been transported to the military ground. As for Yu Qi and Long Hui, they returned home first. They decided not to tell Tsng Family about the kidnap attempt because Yu Qi did not want them to worry about her.

On the next day, both of them returned to their work.

”Doctor Yu Qi, we heard that you went to Stungolo Country with your fiancee. You get a free vacation with your fiancee.”

”Yeah. I am jealous.”

”How’s Stungolo Country?”

Yu Qi had been bombarded by the questions from the nurses and the doctors who were closed to her. Not to mention, her brother, Tang Jin Wei also joined them.

”Little Sis, tell me. Is it fun?” Tang Jin Wei asked.

”Why?” Yu Qi asked back.

”I want to have a vacation trip with Ke Ke. So, I decide on the place first.” Tang Jin Wei told his plan.

”The country is not bad. I think Sister Ke Ke might like the place.” Yu Qi felt her opinion on that country.

Even though she did not see all of that but she could tell that it was a great destination to have a vacation.

After talking a little with them, Yu Qi went to see Pei Ruiying to report. He was her superior, after all.

”You are back.” Pei Ruiying said.

”Hmm…” Yu Qi nodded.

”Your news made a front page.” Pei Ruiying commented. “Your decision on rejecting all of the investment gives a huge impact.”

”I don’t need their money. If I give them a head, they might have an idea for my research. Why should I invite such problems when I can handle them myself?” Yu Qi said.

”I see. The power of having a lot of money is really great.” Pei Ruiying smiled.

”I will not handle the award ceremony again.  Next time, I will just send my representative.” Yu Qi made the announcement to Pei Ruiying.

”Okay.” Pei Ruiying nodded.

”And you, I heard you arrange a surgery on that day because you don’t want to go, is that right?” Yu Qi asked.

”Yes.” Pei Ruiying admitted it naturally.

”Wow, you admit it easily.” Yu Qi rolled her eyes.

”I also hate going to that kind of ceremony.” Pei Ruiying smiled.

Yu Qi rolled her eyes again.

Then, the pager was ringing. Both of their pagers. This meant they had upcoming emergency patients. Seeing that, they rushed out to the emergency lobby.

Yu Qi took a long breath. Their emergency department received a lot of cases today. A bus containing 25 people had clashed with a lorry that carried logs. Not to mention, this accident made other 2 cars which had 4 people inside both cars.

Making a total number of 35 people were injured in the accident. The badly injured people were the bus driver, 2 people who sat in the front seat, the lorry driver and his companion, and the drivers and the person who seat in the passenger’s seat in both cars.

It was total chaos. They needed to invite other doctors and nurses from other departments to help the emergency department since the patients were outnumbered.

The clock showed 9 p.m. Yu Qi then heard her stomach making some sounds. She had been working straight from the morning until now. She just drank some water and returned to work. So, she did not eat lunch at all. No wonder, her stomach made some sounds.

”Doctor Yu Qi, the hospital buy some dinner for us tonight. Let’s go and eat.” One of the nurses said to Yu Qi.

”Hmm… Sure.” Yu Qi nodded.
