Reborn : Space Intelligent Woman

”We need to move.” Thirteen said, packing their stuff.

　　”Ok… Okay…” Thirty nodded.

Thirteen was a higher ranking than him. So, he needed to follow his order.

”Is there something?” Yu Qi said.

”Some people are running away.” Long Hui explained.

”Oh, really?” Yu Qi looked in the direction where Long Hui looking at.

Yu Qi already saw two men running away.

”Oh, is those people from the organizations you tell me about before?” Yu Qi asked.

”Probably.” Long Hui did not know much about that.

”What a pity. Otherwise, we can play together.” Yu Qi grinned cunningly.

Long Hui just smiled when hearing that. His beloved Qi Qi really liked to play with people like that.

”You can play with them but only in my presence.” Long Hui reminded her.

”I know.” Yu Qi was still grinning.

The ceremony continued until they called Yu Qi’s name. People were clapping when Yu Qi went onto the stage. They were surprised when seeing Yu Qi in a black suit.

The women usually wore a dress when attending this kind of ceremony. It was very refreshed to see a woman appearing in a black suit like that. However, it would not drop Yu Qi’s charm. Instead, it went up.

”Doctor Tang Yu Qi, your achievement was very good. Keep it up.” An old man gave the award to Yu Qi.

”Thank you, Sir.” Yu Qi nodded.

”Here, Doctor Tang Yu Qi, please give some speech.” The MC gave a microphone to Yu Qi.

　　Yu Qi took the microphone.

”First of all, I appreciate this award. So, thank you. Thank you to my family for their support. And the most important person in my life, thank you for coming here too with me.” Yu Qi looked at Long Hui lovingly. Then, she turned serious again. “Lastly, I would like to say something about the investment for my research.”

　　People were waiting for that.

”As I said before, I will not accept any investment. So, don’t wait for that.” After that, Yu Qi gave the microphone back to the MC.

The MC was speechless. People also talked among them. They really hoped to invest in Yu Qi’s research. But now, their hope was ruined when Yu Qi announced it in public like that. It meant that Yu Qi really did not interested to let people invest in her research.

”How domineering.” Sophie Smith commented. Her idol was really domineering.

She did not notice that Thomas Smith frowned. Well, her father could not force Yu Qi to accept his investment. Yu Qi had the right to reject.

　　…..

The ceremony ended. The banquet began. Yu Qi was a little bit hungry. So, she pulled Long Hui to grab something to eat. Not many people eating actually.

Yu Qi really did not understand why people did not eat the food that was prepared. She noticed even from her past life. She knew how much she suffered without food, she did not like to waste food.

”Is it delicious?” Long Hui asked.

”Yeah. Well, it still can’t compare with what you cook for me.” Yu Qi had time to praise her man.

Hearing his beloved Qi Qi’s praise, really made his day,

While they were eating, someone came. It was a middle-aged man. He was smiling when seeing Yu Qi.

”Hello, Doctor Tang Yu Qi. Nice to meet you.” The middle-aged man said. “I am William Guaner. I am from Star Research Institute.”

He gave his business card to Yu Qi. Yu Qi politely accepted it. Seeing he was being received well by Yu Qi, he smiled again.

”I would like to invite Doctor Tang Yu Qi to join our institute. You might like it.” William Guaner said.

”I appreciate your invitation. But at this moment, I don’t have any intention to join any of the institutions. I hope Mr. Guaner understands.” Yu Qi politely declined it.

”No… no.. no… Don’t worry. I am not forcing you. If you are interested to come and seeing our labs, just give me a call.” William Guaner said.

He would not force Yu Qi. His head just told him to give the invitation. If Yu Qi was interested in the future, she could come over. She would be welcomed well.

William Guaner did not wait anymore since his aim had already been achieved. He excused himself and left.

”I know about this institute. They are quite good.” Yu Qi commented.

”I see.” Long Hui paid attention to the middle-aged man.

”Yes. I read their paper sometimes.” Yu Qi said.

Then, another person came. It was a woman. Actually, Yu Qi thought this woman was coming for Long Hui. But she never expected that this woman was coming for her.

”Hi, Doctor Tang Yu Qi. I am your fan.” It was Sophie Smith.

　　”…”

Yu Qi and Long Hui were looking at each other, dumbfounded.

”I am sorry for disturbing you, Doctor Tang Yu Qi.” Sophie Smith said.

”No… No… I am just surprised.” Yu Qi shook her head.

”Well, first of all, I am sorry for my sister and brother earlier.” Sophie Smith said.

”Your sister and brother?” Yu Qi tilted her head.

”Yeah. Audrey Smith and James Smith. Oh, I forget to introduce myself. I am Sophie. Sophie Smith.” Sophie Smith was nervous facing her idol.

”Oh, it’s okay. They already apologized.” Yu Qi did not care much about that earlier incident.

”Can I ask you a favor?” Sophie Smith asked.

”Well…” Yu Qi hesitated to agree to it.
