In the Apocalypse, After Hoarding Supplies, They Teamed Up with a Powerful Figure and Went on a Killing Spree

68: Chapter 68 Mysterious Man in Black”How would I know? Obviously, I traded my life for it!”

In her mind, a vast, dark mass of gray slowly approached.

It was the horde of zombies that had disappeared for some unknown reason just moments ago, and it was about to reappear.

Qi Yin turned her gaze back to the Fat Pig Man.

”Remember this: this woman has nothing to do with me. Also, the next time you see me, remember to stay far away.”

Before the zombie horde arrived, she found a concealed spot, took out her off-road vehicle, and drove away.

At the entrance of the pharmacy, the Fat Pig Man took the styptic medicine he had struggled to obtain from his pocket and frantically sprinkled it all over himself and Xiao Liu.

But for some reason, the wounds only hurt more and more.

What they didn’t know was that the injuries caused by Qi Yin’s Ice-type Ability could not be healed by ordinary medicine; it might even intensify the pain.

”Give me some medicine, Brother Zhu, I’m in so much pain, please give me some medicine.” Lu Yingman was still shouting from the side.

The zombie horde, which had originally been drawn by the scent of blood, now had a clearer direction upon hearing the commotion.

They hissed and roared, steadily closing in on the hospital entrance.

The Fat Pig Man realized something, and he smashed his club hard onto Lu Yingman’s broken hand again.

”Damn it, you really deserve to die.”

If it weren’t for this woman’s instigation, how would they have offended such a powerful Ability User like Qi Yin?

Now, Lu Yingman’s left hand was completely ruined.

”Ah, ah... Brother Zhu, the zombies are back.”

The remaining survivors huddled together in fear, placing all their hopes on the Fat Pig Man and Xiao Liu.

Now, all they could do was run.

The Fat Pig Man spat and pointed at several of the men present.

”You few, take turns carrying Xiao Liu. We’re leaving through the back door. The rest of you follow on your own; if you die, I don’t care.”

After speaking, the Fat Pig Man endured the chill radiating from the wound on his eye, braved the strong wind, and strode forward to forcefully shut the dilapidated hospital gate.

Although it wouldn’t do much, it could at least buy them a few minutes.

”Hurry!”

The person bringing up the rear looked at Lu Yingman, who was struggling to crawl up from the ground, and felt a bit of pity.

”Brother Zhu, what about this woman?”

The Fat Pig Man glanced at Lu Yingman, directly ignoring the pleading in her eyes.

”She’s just a burden. I’m being kind enough by not killing her myself. I don’t care if she lives or dies, let’s go.”

Watching the zombie horde slamming frantically against the door behind her, Lu Yingman’s eyes were filled with despair.

”Take me with you, I beg you.” She tried to plead with the man at the back of the line.

The man would have liked to save her, but he was just an ordinary person. Both the Fat Pig Man and Xiao Liu had Supernatural Abilities, and he couldn’t guarantee that if he disobeyed, he wouldn’t become the next Lu Yingman.

Hardening his heart, he turned and left, leaving Lu Yingman alone.

In the second before the zombies were about to break through the door, the weak Lu Yingman found strength from somewhere unknown.

She forced herself to stand up and scrambled in the direction they had left.

”Ah!”

But her movements were slightly slow, and her clothes were still ripped by the claws of a fast-moving zombie.

A cut of moderate depth opened on her arm, but she couldn’t worry about the wound and had to speed up to catch up with the group.

At this time, the Fat Pig Man had already led the team to a relatively safe warehouse with a sturdy door.

”Close the door!”

Just as everyone was about to close the iron door, a woman’s voice came from behind.

”Wait! Wait for me!”

This person was none other than the lucky survivor, Lu Yingman. Before seeing Brother Zhu and his group, she specifically covered her torn down jacket.

Even if there was blood on her hands, these people would only assume it was from when Qi Yin hit her earlier.

The man leading the rear was shocked to see her.

”Brother Zhu, should we let her in?”

Sometimes, the Fat Pig Man had to admit that Lu Yingman’s vitality was truly tenacious.

Forget it, this woman didn’t look too bad; keeping her might prove useful later.

”Let her in.”

Thus, Lu Yingman once again relied on her tenacious vitality to blend back into the survivor team.

She found a corner and crouched down, so no one noticed that cold sweat was gradually beading on her forehead, wave after wave.

A dangerous hidden threat was silently lurking within the team.

His eye hurt more and more, and Brother Zhu cursed loudly, ”Fuck, Qi Yin, don’t let me see you again.”

Otherwise, he would definitely skin this bitch alive.

”Are you saying that the woman from just now is named Qi Yin?”

An out-of-place, mechanical voice echoed in the warehouse.

Everyone was startled and looked around, but they couldn’t see anyone there.

Could it be a ghost?

But the Fat Pig Man was a typical materialist; he didn’t believe in any ghosts or gods.

”Who is it? What kind of hero hides their head and shows their tail? Come out and talk.”

Before he finished speaking, a tall figure wearing a long black cloak and a mask jumped down from the warehouse beams, landing steadily in front of him.

Everyone present was stunned. It was so high, at least ten meters; how could he be fine after jumping down?

The man in black didn’t say a word; his gloved hand clamped onto the Fat Pig Man’s neck.

Weighing over three hundred pounds, he was lifted up with ease just like that.

With his feet off the ground, the Fat Pig Man felt a distinct sense of suffocation.

The man in black spoke again, ”That woman at the pharmacy entrance earlier, is her name Qi Yin?”

The intense suffocation forced the Fat Pig Man to keep slapping the man in black’s hand, signaling him to let go.

This man before him was no pushover.

As he wished, the man in black released his grip and nonchalantly brushed the ”dust” off his hands.

The Fat Pig Man collapsed to the ground, half-dead.

”That woman is indeed named Qi Yin.”

He then pointed to Lu Yingman in the corner.

”If you don’t believe me, ask this woman; she says Qi Yin is her daughter.”

Afraid of being hit, Lu Yingman nodded hurriedly, confirming Qi Yin’s identity.

”That’s right, she is my daughter, Qi Yin.”

At this moment, she had completely forgotten Qi Yin’s warning from earlier.

The man in black turned around, his gaze falling on Lu Yingman, seemingly confirming something.

”Heh heh, Qi Yin, I’ve finally found you!”

Afterward, the man in black grabbed Lu Yingman by the back of her neck.

”Do you want to live?”

”Yes, I want to live...”

Lu Yingman nodded repeatedly, but afraid that the other party would discover the scratch on her body, she clutched her down jacket tightly, not daring to let go.

Beneath the mask, the man in black seemed to chuckle.

Dragging Lu Yingman like a dead dog, he opened the iron door under everyone’s gaze.

Strangely, the chattering zombies outside only sniffed him when they saw him, but made no move to attack.

He could even communicate with the zombies.

”There’s food inside; enjoy yourselves.”

The iron door was wide open, as if frozen by ice; no matter how hard the Fat Pig Man and the survivors pushed, it wouldn’t budge an inch.

Before long, scream after scream came from the previously quiet warehouse.

Accompanied by the surging wind and snow, it gradually returned to silence.

At this moment, they still thought that all of this was caused by Qi Yin.

”Achoo!”

After handing the virus sample to Zhou Zhiheng, Qi Yin, who had just returned to the villa shelter, let out a solid sneeze.

”Who is thinking of me?”
