Pokémon: My Parallel World Daughters Revealed

In the real world, Cerulean City.

Misty stood inside the largest clothing mall in Cerulean City, staring at the rows upon rows of clothes before her with an exceptionally serious expression.

She picked up a pink dress, considered it for a moment, then put it back. Next, she took a white chiffon blouse from the rack and held it against herself in front of a mirror, but she still felt as though something was missing.

A sales assistant nearby noticed her indecision and approached with a friendly smile.

”Hello. Do you need any assistance?”

Misty bit her lip and lowered her voice.

”Um... Do you have the kind of clothes that would make a man’s eyes light up the moment he saw them?”

The sales assistant’s eyes immediately brightened. She looked Misty up and down before revealing an extremely professional smile.

”You’ve certainly asked the right person~ What kind of style are you hoping to create? Sweet and adorable, sophisticated and elegant, or perhaps...”

”Well...”

Misty lowered her voice even further and glanced around to make sure there was no one she knew nearby.

”I mean the kind of outfit that would make a man completely unable to take his eyes off me.”

The sales assistant nodded knowingly and removed a black backless dress from the rack.

”This is one of our bestselling designs. The back creates a subtly revealing effect...”

”I’ll take two!”

”There’s also this one.”

The sales assistant brought out a burgundy velvet mini dress.

”It has a vintage style, complements your complexion, accentuates your figure, and the neckline is designed to reveal just the right amount of collarbone.”

Misty stared at the dress for three seconds.

An image of herself wearing it in front of Asher involuntarily appeared in her mind.

Heh. Men.

”I’ll take that too!”

”Certainly. Would you also like a pair of high heels to match?”

”Yes!”

Hmph. He had better prepare himself for tonight.

She, Misty, would make Asher understand exactly who the rightful woman in his life was!

...

The video continued playing.

Tiana appeared to have grown a little older, and her mismatched eyes looked increasingly extraordinary.

That day, Cynthia had been invited to attend a three-day academic symposium at the Sinnoh League headquarters.

”Tiana, after Mommy leaves, you need to listen to Daddy.”

Cynthia rubbed Tiana’s head.

”You’re not allowed to ride Garchomp into the mountain behind the house, climb trees, or order Garchomp to blow up the mountain. Do you understand?”

”Mommy.”

Tiana tilted her head with an innocent expression.

”You said too many things. I can’t remember them all.”

Cynthia took a deep breath before turning toward Asher.

”Honey, keep an eye on her.”

Asher leaned against the doorframe with a cup of coffee in his hand, looking exceptionally dependable.

”Don’t worry. I’m here.”

Cynthia left.

The moment the door closed, Tiana jumped down from the sofa and ran to the window to confirm that her mother’s car had driven away.

Then she turned around, her mismatched eyes shining as brightly as stars.

”Daddy!”

”Mm?”

”Mommy’s gone!”

”I noticed.”

Tiana ran up to Asher and raised her head. Her expression carried a solemnity completely inappropriate for someone her age.

”Let’s conquer the mountain behind the house.”

Asher took a sip of coffee.

”No.”

”Why not?!”

”Your mother said no.”

”But Mommy isn’t here right now!”

Tiana spread her arms.

”When Mommy isn’t here, Daddy is the supreme commander!”

”The supreme commander is now ordering you to put away your building blocks.”

”If I put them away, can we go to the mountain?”

”...As long as you don’t rat me out when your mother discovers whatever trouble you cause.”

Tiana’s eyes lit up, and she immediately turned and ran toward the backyard.

”Dragonite! Garchomp! Assemble!”

Two deep roars came from the backyard, followed by the sound of something taking flight.

Asher took another sip of coffee.

”Whatever. Dragonite is accompanying her, so nothing too serious should happen.”

[Gary]: He really let a little girl go out with Dragonite and Garchomp just like that? Isn’t Asher being far too careless?

[Ash]: When I was her age, I was still playing in the mud back in Pallet Town!

[Iris]: Come to think of it, Tiana’s personality seems completely different from Champion Cynthia’s.

[Professor Carolina]: Hehehe. I think she’s exactly like little Cynthia was at that age~ When little Cynthia was young...

[Cynthia]: Grandma!

[Steven]: I’m more curious about why Dragonite and Garchomp would obey the commands of a three-year-old child.

[Lance]: Dragon Force gives its wielder a natural affinity for and influence over Dragon-type Pokémon. Although Tiana is still young, her Dragon Force has already begun to awaken. Dragon-type Pokémon will instinctively feel fondness toward her and become more willing to obey her.

[Lorelei]: More importantly, those Pokémon belong to her parents, don’t they? Still, since Garchomp and Dragonite obey her so readily, she probably won’t encounter any real danger.

The video continued playing.

On the mountain behind the house, Tiana sat astride Dragonite’s neck. She held a tree branch in her left hand like a conductor’s baton and pointed with her right hand toward a crooked tree ahead.

”Garchomp! Target straight ahead! Use Hyper Beam!”

Garchomp flew behind them and lowered its gaze toward the tree, whose trunk wasn’t even as thick as one of its legs.

It released a breath through its nostrils before opening its mouth.

An orange-yellow beam of energy erupted from its jaws.

The crooked tree exploded into fragments on the spot, and even its roots were torn from the ground.

Tiana raised her branch into the air.

”That was amazing! Garchomp, you’re the strongest!”

Garchomp proudly raised its head, puffed out its muscular chest, and released a deep roar.

”Garchomp~”

Dragonite, meanwhile, remained exceptionally calm. It merely continued flying at a leisurely pace, careful not to create enough wind to make Tiana cold while she sat on its neck.

Its state of mind was now completely peaceful.

It had already received Dialga’s scale, so all it needed to do was accompany Tiana.

Whatever Tiana decided to do was none of its concern. Its boss had implicitly permitted everything, so even if Tiana flattened the entire mountain, Dragonite would bear no responsibility.

[Regular-Seat Chat Group]

”Tiana: That crooked tree is challenging us! Garchomp: Understood. Opening fire!”

”Garchomp has completely become Tiana’s personal enforcer! Hahahahaha!”

”That Hyper Beam was ridiculously powerful! There wasn’t even a scrap of the tree left!”

”No wonder Champion Cynthia repeatedly warned her before leaving. This really isn’t much different from blowing up the mountain.”

[VIP Chat Group]

[Flint]: Garchomp, you’re the ace of our Sinnoh Champion! What are you doing?!

[Professor Carolina]: Hehehe. I don’t see anything wrong with what Tiana did. That crooked tree was clearly rather threatening.

[Lucian]: What threat did it pose?

[Professor Carolina]: It was blocking the way.

[Cynthia]: ...

[Diantha]: Cynthia, at the very least, this proves that Garchomp is extremely loyal to Tiana. That’s a good thing, isn’t it?

The video continued playing.

Some time appeared to pass in fast-forward.

Cynthia returned home and opened the door.

Asher was sitting on the sofa reading, while Tiana lay on the carpet drawing pictures.

Everything appeared perfectly normal.

Cynthia put down her bag, walked over to Tiana, and crouched beside her.

”Tiana, Mommy’s home. Were you well-behaved during these three days?”

Tiana raised her head, her mismatched eyes sparkling brightly.

”Yes! Tiana was extremely well-behaved!”

”Is that so?”

Cynthia slowly turned her head toward Asher.

”Honey, what do you think?”

Asher turned a page of his book, his expression perfectly composed.

”Everything was fine while you were away.”

”What happened to the berry orchard on the mountain?”

”What berry orchard? Was there a berry orchard on the mountain?”

”...”

[VIP Chat Group]

[Flint]: Good grief. Did this father and daughter destroy the evidence so they wouldn’t get caught?

[Ash]: How can Asher look so calm right now...?

[Pikachu]: Pika, pika! (He’s a repeat offender! He’s definitely done this before!)

[Steven]: Brother Asher’s composure has been tempered through countless great trials.

[Diantha]: Cynthia’s expression is hilarious! She’s clearly smiling, but I feel as though she’s about to fall apart!

[Professor Carolina]: Hehehe. This is nothing. Tiana is only three years old. There will be plenty more trouble to come.

The video continued playing.

Cynthia remained where she was and took three deep breaths.

Then she crouched down again and held Tiana’s hand.

”Tiana, Mommy wants to discuss something with you.”

”What is it?”

”From now on, when Mommy isn’t home, you’re not allowed to take Garchomp outside.”

Tiana tilted her head.

”Can I take Dragonite instead?”

”No!”

Tiana fell into deep thought.

”Then can I take Salamence?”

”Where did you get a Salamence...?”

Cynthia stopped halfway through her sentence and turned toward Asher.

Asher turned another page without raising his head.

”No idea. It has nothing to do with me.”
