Zenless Zone Zero: The Almighty Incubus of Sixth Street

”Yanagi?”

”I said, I agree!”

Yanagi’s tone when answering Wise became firm, but her gaze toward the two people before her remained incredibly complicated.

She couldn’t shake the feeling that this decision would be the first of its kind for her... but definitely not the last.

”Mm, I knew you’d agree, Yanagi. Then I’ll go convince my father now...”

As Miyabi spoke, the fluffy fox ears on her head suddenly twitched a few times before gently turning, as if sensing something.

”There’s a sound. They’re catching up.”

”What? They’re already here? Even though I threw away his phone, they still managed to catch up?”

As Yanagi spoke, someone had already caught up to them. Ellen and Jane reached the alley entrance at the same time, followed closely by Nekomata, Anby, Caesar, and the others.

At this point, Miyabi and Yanagi no longer had any intention of continuing to flee with Wise. Instead, they probably needed to have a proper talk with these future ”companions.”

But since they were still outside, it would be better to find somewhere quieter to discuss such important matters.

Shortly afterward, inside the video store, Belle, Anby, Nekomata, Nicole, Ellen, Corin, Qingyi, Zhu Yuan, Jane, Lucy, Caesar, Piper, Burnice, Miyabi, Yanagi, Koleda, Grace, Odile, Odette, and Rain, who had happened to drop by, were all gathered together.

Although Lucy was practically fuming at this point, for some reason, she still agreed to the proposal.

As for the other irrelevant people, they had all been asked to go home first.

As soon as they entered the store, everyone spread out naturally, mostly standing beside the people they were familiar with, while Wise ended up surrounded in the middle.

Scrutinizing gazes came from every direction, and even Wise felt immense pressure beneath them.

However, just then, a discordant voice suddenly broke the silence.

”Zhu Yuan, do you want to stand a little closer?”

”Ah? What? Miyabi, at a time like this...?”

Indeed, Miyabi was the first to speak. She gently waved her hand, gesturing for Zhu Yuan to stand beside her, leaving the latter looking visibly confused.

”Precisely because it’s a time like this. Yanagi and I have already agreed. You’re also an important friend of mine, Zhu Yuan, and you like Wise too, right?”

”Uh... yes, that’s right...” she answered shyly.

”Then do you want to join us?”

In Miyabi’s view, Wise already had far too many complicated relationships with girls, the kind that could no longer be cleanly severed.

So in that case, it would be better to simply accept it and let those who couldn’t accept it leave instead.

This method had been suggested to her by Yanagi.

Miyabi thought it made perfect sense and immediately pulled Zhu Yuan to her side.

”Oh my, are we starting this game already? I didn’t expect the famous Void Hunter to have such schemes. But I believe Miss Zhu Yuan would never betray Qingyi and me, right?”

”Eh? Jane, you...”

Feeling the hand on her shoulder, Zhu Yuan subconsciously turned her head, only to see Jane smiling at her kindly.

”Hmm, this really is difficult. I didn’t expect to have this many rivals.”

”Eh? Even Qingyi too...?”

While Zhu Yuan was still trying to process everything, Lucy, seeing that the situation was going in a strange direction, immediately spoke up.

”Huh? What are you all talking about? Weren’t we discussing Wise? Aren’t any of you angry at all?!”

As Lucy spoke, she looked at Piper, who wore an indifferent expression, and Burnice, who was still smiling playfully, with clear disappointment on her face.

Among the people around her, only Caesar seemed to be seriously thinking about the situation.

In response to her words, Miyabi answered very straightforwardly.

”I was a little angry, but that was before.”

”Chief Miyabi is right. If you can’t accept it, Miss Lucy, you may leave.”

Following Miyabi’s answer, Yanagi pushed up her glasses, the white reflection flashing across the lenses only emphasizing the coldness in her expression.

”Um, Yanagi, I think...” Wise tried to interject, only to be immediately shut down.

”If possible, Wise... please don’t speak for now, okay?”

Yanagi’s tone was very gentle, but Wise didn’t dare refute her at this moment.

”You...! Tsk, who said I was leaving? I like Wise, and we’ve already been together for quite some time. We even... even did that kind of thing!”

Lucy angrily clenched her fists, her face flushed with embarrassment.

She didn’t specify what ”that kind of thing” was, and Yanagi merely chuckled softly after hearing her words.

”Miss Lucy, I don’t think that’s anything worth bragging about. If I’m not mistaken, most of the girls here are just like you.”

As Yanagi spoke, her gaze shifted toward Wise, seemingly seeking confirmation from him, and clearly, what she said wasn’t wrong.

Among everyone present, only Caesar and Grace hadn’t done those things with him yet.

In Caesar’s mind, however, ”that kind of thing” probably—possibly, perhaps—referred to kissing.

”Hmm, I can confirm it. My brother really has done things with all of them,” Belle said with a slight pout, clenching her fist.

Although she was still angry about what had happened earlier, she knew she had to help her brother right now.

”Haha, I’m not surprised at all...” Ellen responded in a completely emotionless voice.

At this point, she wasn’t even very concerned about the situation anymore. She had already gone numb to it.

The current situation was easy enough to analyze. There was no need to elaborate on the few who already knew each other.

Piper and Burnice simply didn’t care, while Miyabi and Yanagi had already accepted the situation.

The only ones whose attitudes still hadn’t been determined were Lucy, Caesar, Zhu Yuan, Jane, and Grace, who technically wasn’t even part of this chaos to begin with.

As for why Nicole wasn’t counted?

That was because the way she interacted with Wise was different from the others, but for now, she clearly accepted it.

And judging from Jane’s behavior just now, along with her previous thoughts, she would most likely agree to this arrangement as well.

Which meant only three remained undecided.

While the atmosphere in the room became increasingly strange, Caesar eventually said she would leave for the day to think things over properly.

Grace followed after her as well, clearly feeling out of place in the situation. Before leaving, she glanced toward Koleda as if trying to confirm whether she was truly okay with everything.

After receiving a nod in response, Grace merely sighed. Once Caesar left, Lucy finally let out all the frustration she had been holding back.

”Wise, you jerk... So you were lying to me this whole time? Do you even like me?!”

She glared at Wise angrily, and her outburst once again drew everyone’s attention toward him.

”Lucy, I didn’t lie to you. I truly like you. I like each and every one of you!”

Wise took a slow breath before continuing.

”I know this makes me sound greedy. But I’ve never ignored any of your feelings. I’ve always treated every one of you sincerely, and all of you have become irreplaceable parts of my life.”

As Wise made his heartfelt confession, a peculiar sensation quietly spread throughout the room.

(T/N: For those who read the RAW or MTL might notice that Caesar was originally supposed to have her first sex scene here. However, I don’t want to write a smut scene involving so many girls at once, so sorry guys, Caesar’s first-time scene will be written later instead. As for Grace, she wasn’t even mentioned. I was the one who remembered to add her, but I ended up taking her out too since she’ll also have her own moment later on.)
