Zenless Zone Zero: The Almighty Incubus of Sixth Street

As expected, the situation did not unfold the way they had anticipated. After Nicole used her smooth talk and quick reflexes to deal with the two Red Fang Gang members, she was about to slip away again but did not know that another group from the gang was already closing in.

Fortunately, Nekomata showed up at the perfect moment and pulled her out of danger. Nicole was grateful, but she still had no idea why the gang members had not searched the area more carefully.

Either way, she and Nekomata managed to shake off their pursuers. Once they finally stepped out of the Hollow, they found Billy and Anby waiting for them outside.

When Billy learned that Nekomata was a new client, he spoke as if he had witnessed a miracle, praising Nicole for securing a job even under circumstances like that. In his eyes, she was practically a role model for their entire generation.

Afterward, Nekomata asked the Cunning Hares group to help her track down a so-called family heirloom, although it was clear she was not telling the full truth.

Wise could pick out several suspicious details from the video, yet Nekomata’s true intention was still unclear.

At least she hadn’t shown any sign of wanting to harm Nicole or the others. If she had, she wouldn’t have revealed their existence in the first place.

As he let his thoughts drift, Wise gently reached out and brushed his fingers under the Nekomata’s chin, the same absentminded gesture someone might use when petting a cat.

He was not doing it on purpose. It was simply one of those moments when deep thinking made the body act on its own.

Nekomata, whose chin he continued to touch, released a soft and delighted ”Nya~ Nyan~”

She seemed completely at ease, even purring in a way that made her look just like a spoiled kitten.

Caught up in her comfort, she shifted closer and eased herself halfway into Wise’s lap, settling there with a relaxed and blissful expression.

Wise, though distracted, could not shake the feeling that something was off. Seeing the completely tamed Nekomata in front of him left him unsure of what to think.

He had always been good with cats, but was it possible that his charm stat also gave him an extra edge in this area?

If both his human charm and his natural affinity for cats were working on the Nekomata, then this outcome was not impossible.

Even so, with the situation already like this, Wise had no idea how to pull back or explain anything to her. He had no other choice but to go with the flow and focus on keeping her as comfortable as possible.

His hand moved with surprising skill as he stroked her chin, and every gentle touch against her soft skin made the Cat Thiren girl relax even more.

When he lifted his hand from her chin and gently brushed her ear instead, the girl trembled and let out a small, startled sound.

”Eeek— Nyaa~!”

However, she did not seem to mind. Once he began softly stroking her incredibly soft ears, she could not hold back her voice and let out small, satisfied moans.

”Nyah~ Ah~”

Her vision was blurring, and her mind was melting away under Wise’s skillful playing with her ears. The soft friction sent jolts straight through her, and she barely even noticed the subtle ache starting to throb low down, a delicious kind of pressure that made it impossible to hold back the pleasure.

Nekomata had never experienced anything like this before. No one had ever been allowed to touch her ears, yet the sensation was surprisingly pleasant.

Their movements grew increasingly intimate, enough for Belle, who was beside Wise, to give him a sharp and terrified look.

”Brother, what are you doing!?” Belle never imagined that after looking away for just a moment because of the video, her brother would already be getting close to another girl.

The speed and intensity of the progress were so great that if Belle had not stopped him, the girl named Nekomiya Mana might not have even realized she had been completely fooled and would have walked out of the store carrying a child.

Caught under Belle’s unwavering stare, Wise could only freeze and pull his hand back.

Nekomata, who had been sprawled across Wise’s lap with a dreamy look, finally stirred after a long, relaxed moment and slowly pushed herself upright.

As soon as she stood, her cheeks flushed a deep red. She quickly turned her back to Wise, too embarrassed to meet his eyes, while a small flicker of fear trembled quietly inside her.

This handsome boy was far too dangerous. She could not stop his hands; they moved with a skill and boldness that left her powerless. He was a true threat to every Cat Thiren.

She was almost sure that if this kept up, she’d lose her innocence right here. The little wetness between her legs made her blush even harder, burning with both embarrassment and helpless desire.

Thankfully, it was not the mating period, when her body would become far more sensitive.

’This is truly too embarrassing! If anyone ever brings this up again, it will be incredibly awkward. Please, just forget about it. Everyone, just forget!’ she thought to herself.

Wise, noticing her thoughts, quietly exchanged a glance with his sister. Belle was a little annoyed at first when she heard him suggest they act as if nothing had happened.

After all, something like this had actually happened. How could they just ignore it?

But on second thought, if such an embarrassing matter came up again, the Cat Thiren herself would feel uncomfortable too, wouldn’t she?

In that case, all they could do was hope everyone would be a little more understanding. So, after a while, the three of them genuinely acted as if nothing had happened and continued sitting in front of the computer to watch the rest of the video.

Of course, this ’nothing happened’ meant ignoring Nekomata slightly flushed cheeks and the way her eyes kept avoiding Wise’s gaze.

The video kept playing, showing the Cunning Hares members and Nekomata. After taking down several guards, they began rifling through the assorted items.

In the end, the only noteworthy find was Billy discovering what he considered a treasure.

A shiny, limited edition Starlight Knight badge from the past ten years, the rarest, strongest one of its kind. Nothing else in the pile seemed worth a thing.

”Sigh, Billy, you really are something… Nekomata, did you find anything?” Nicole asked, glancing at the Cat Thiren girl.

”Ah, yes! Let me check how much cash is in this supposedly valuable wallet…” Nekomata said, opening the wallet.

Seeing the familiar wallet in her hand, Anby’s heart skipped a beat. She instinctively reached for her pocket, only to find it empty.

”My wallet! Did you take it when I was digging through the box? Give it back!”

Anby’s emotions were a bit tense, as if the wallet held some incredible secret, which only made Nekomata even more curious.

”Who told you to look for things with such an unwilling expression? Huh? How strange. It’s one thing that your wallet has Nicole’s photo, but who is this handsome boy?”

Nekomata pulled a photo from her wallet, and the person in it was none other than Wise.

”My photo? This angle… when was this taken?” Wise muttered, trying to remember.

”Wait, you don’t even know? Oh wow, I didn’t expect that girl Anby, with that deadpan face, to actually be a stalker,” Nekomata said, surprised by his clueless look.

”No, I wasn’t aware, but that doesn’t mean I said Anby couldn’t take my photo.”

Hearing his words clearly siding with Anby, Nekomata unconsciously pouted, feeling a little jealous that he cared so much about her.
