Zenless Zone Zero: The Almighty Incubus of Sixth Street

”Brother, come help me move this. It’s too heavy for me to lift.”

The beautiful dark-haired girl waved and called out to the handsome gray-white-haired young man nearby.

”Got it, Belle. I’ll be right there.”

- Belle1 -

After placing the videotape from his hand on the shelf, the young man turned and went to Belle’s side, then easily picked up the box of videotapes on the floor.

”Wow, Brother, you’re so strong!”

”Alright, even if you praise me like that, you still won’t be allowed to eat any more ice cream today.”

”Hmph, you are so stingy.”

”This isn’t about being stingy or not. I’m trying to prevent future problems.”

Once he finished speaking, he carried the box into the room, while Belle, hearing this, pouted her rosy lips in annoyance and slowly followed.

”Ehn-ne, Ehn-na! (Eating too much ice cream will give you a stomachache.)”

At that moment, a small black and white creature resembling a rabbit, with the number ’01’ marked in white on its orange scarf, walked over and spoke in its own unique language.

”See, even Eous knows.”

- Eous -1

”Hmph, I won’t get a stomachache,” Belle muttered stubbornly, puffing her cheeks.

”I’m telling you, and if I remember correctly, your period is coming soon, right? So don’t come crying to me in pain again.”

”You’re so mean! I’m not talking to you!”

Belle’s cheeks flushed red as she spun around and ran out of the room, heading over to help the other Bangboo, N.º 18, organize the new videotapes that had arrived that day.

- N.º 18 -1

”Honestly... never mind.”

Looking at his sister, who had run out, the young man shook his head helplessly. His name was Wise, and he had been in this world for more than twenty years.

- Wise -1

Originally, he wasn’t from this world. In his previous life, he was just a normal guy, until one day, while logging into Zenless Zone Zero to start his daily quests, a sudden blinding white light flashed in his face like a clueless team rushing B on Dust 2 in CS.

When he woke up again, he discovered he had become a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes, and soon after, he lost consciousness once more.

Due to certain circumstances, he ended up in an orphanage, where he met Belle. Some time later, their teacher came to care for them, but because of certain events, she had to leave.

Still, as long as he and Belle were together, that was enough.

As for why the story begins today, it’s not because this day is special or anything, but because…

Wise stared at the floating screen in front of him with anticipation.

It was something he had possessed since the day he was born into this world, something that could be called a system. However, the most frustrating part was that it took far too long to activate, leaving him without its help for more than two decades.

Thankfully, today, the system’s unlock countdown was finally about to end.

’I’ve waited so long for this. Is it really about to activate now? I’m very curious to see what this system can do, after all this time, it showed nothing but a panel and a countdown without even revealing its name,’ he thought as he made his way to his room.

When he arrived, the countdown ended, and Wise unhesitatingly clicked the ’activate’ button.

It was kind of lame, as there were no animations or special effects. Only a mechanical sound announced its name, and the panel now displayed all the functions and uses of the system like an instruction manual.

”No… this isn’t right, is it? This…”

[Almighty Incubus System]

[Host: Wise]

[Charm: 88 (High by human standards)]

[Actual Charm Influence: Increases initial favorability when meeting others for the first time. This effect is doubled when interacting with the opposite sex.]

”Isn’t this supposed to be a slightly proper game? I remember it’s only rated 16+. Why would a system like this even show up?”

Wise didn’t quite understand, but soon something even more shocking showed up.

[Current Favorability (Females)]

[Name: Belle]

[Charm Value: 95]

[Unique Trait: Host’s Younger Sister (?)]

[Current Favorability toward Host: 100+]

[Evaluation: Possesses extremely high favorability toward you, Host, but whether this is based on familial affection, the system cannot accurately determine.]

[Inner Thoughts: Brother is so mean. I’m not a child anymore. I just wanted one more ice cream. What’s wrong with that? But he even remembers my period so clearly. He cares about me a lot. It is so embarrassing, hehe~]

[Note: The host can earn rewards by triggering emotional fluctuations in highly favored individuals. The higher the favorability, the greater the rewards.]

’The high favorability makes sense, but what’s with that evaluation? System, stop spouting nonsense or I’ll sue you for defamation,’ he thought bitterly as he stared at the system screen.

Of course, the system ignored Wise’s protest and simply issued a gift pack.

[As compensation for the system’s late arrival, you will receive a Newbie Gift Package.]

Wise saw this and chose to open it without hesitation.

[Newbie Gift Package opened. Congratulations, Host! You have received the talent ’Beauty Above All (S)’ and 12 Charm attribute points.]

[Beauty Above All (S): 80% of the Host’s charm will be added to their other attributes, as beauty can also represent strength.]

The talent’s description was straightforward, which was fine. As for the 12 Charm attribute points, when added to his original total, they brought him to exactly 100 points.

’Could the system have calculated this? It is so precise,’ Wise thought to himself.

The so-called Almighty Incubus System didn’t seem as perverted as he had expected. Wise decided to test it by adding the points first, and when he applied all 12 Charm points, his Charm Value reached 100.

”Hmm, I don’t really feel any different, but the boost from the ’Beauty Above All’ talent is clearly noticeable.”

Wise clenched his fist. The box that had once required effort to lift could now be easily picked up with one hand.

”Brother, I’ve already arranged the shelves outside—” Belle said as she entered the room.

”Belle, why did you come in without knocking again? Anyway, you came at a good time. Do I look any different?”

Wise sighed as Belle suddenly opened the door. He had reminded her many times to knock before entering someone else’s room, but she never listened.

Belle didn’t answer his question right away. She stood frozen in place, her voice stammering a little.

”Uh, well… t-that… oh, I just remembered I forgot to charge Eous today. I’m going back to my room first. See you later, Brother!”

With that, Belle quickly turned and left, leaving Wise no chance to ask anything further.

But the sharp-eyed Wise noticed that Belle’s face was unusually red as she left, giving her the look of a shy maiden, which, in truth, she really was.

”What got into her?” Wise didn’t quite understand why she reacted that way.

Clearly, he had no idea what having a Charm Value of 100 actually meant.
