Walker Of The Worlds

Chapter 3741: Fatty Mu

One hour later Lin Mu stared at the mirror as silence filled the room.

The handsome young immortal was gone.

A round man sat there.

His cheeks puffed outward.

His arms thickened.

His robes stretched.

A large belly rested proudly before him.

Even his jawline had vanished.

Lin Mu slowly stood and...

BOING!

His stomach jiggled.

He froze.

Inside his mind...

Silence lasted for three seconds.

Then Xukong exploded into laughter.

The giant spider practically rolled over.

His ten golden eyes watered.

”Hahaha! Lin Mu! What have you done to yourself!?”

Another voice appeared instantly.

Lin Mo.

The devilish version doubled over laughing.

He slapped empty air repeatedly.

”Fatty Mu!”

Lin Mu twitched.

”Fatty Mu has arrived!”

Lin Mo floated around him dramatically.

”Forget Collapse and Stasis. Your new spear should be called Appetite!”

Xukong laughed harder.

”No, no. Call him Holder of Snacks!”

Lin Mo pointed at Lin Mu’s belly.

”Pillar of the Buffet!”

Xukong immediately followed.

”Dough Weaver of Dumplings!”

Lin Mo continued mercilessly.

”Guardian of Meat Buns!”

”Emperor of Eight Meals!”

”Grand Dao of Unlimited Refills!”

Lin Mu looked at the mirror again.

The belly moved.

He felt slight trauma.

Lin Mo was still laughing.

”You know what’s worse?”

Lin Mu narrowed his eyes.

”What?”

”You actually look kind. Heck, I think if you kept this form and used the Calming Heart Sutra and unleashed your Buddhist Aura, people might even mistake you for the Laughing Buddha!”

Lin Mu’s eye twitched.

”People would ask guidance from you.”

Xukong nodded solemnly despite still laughing.

”You look like you’d give life advice while holding steamed buns.”

Lin Mu immediately reversed the process.

The stored fat rapidly disappeared.

His body returned to normal.

His jawline reappeared.

The belly vanished.

Lin Mu sat down and took a long breath.

Relief filled him.

Thankfully...

Thankfully no one had seen.

Lin Mo floated closer.

”You should show Meng Bai.”

”No.”

”Cattaleya?”

”No.”

”Lady Kang?”

”Absolutely not.”

Xukong chuckled while Lin Mo spoke.

”Keep this memory. It is valuable.”

Lin Mu frowned.

”How?”

The devlish man grinned.

”One day when you become some terrifying supreme expert feared across worlds...”

He paused.

”...I will remind everyone about Fatty Mu.”

Lin Mu closed his eyes.

He suddenly regretted experimenting.

Deep within Lin Mu’s soul, Lin Mo was still laughing.

”Fetus Bai and Fatty Mu.”

Lin Mu immediately cut the connection.

Silence returned.

A minute later he reopened his eyes.

The embarrassment slowly faded.

Yet despite everything...

The experiment had succeeded.

He now knew his body had become far more malleable.

Hair.

Nails.

Skin.

Fat.

If these could be controlled...

Then what else?

Muscles?

Bones?

Organs?

Lin Mu’s expression slowly grew serious.

The laughter still echoed in the back of his mind.

But beneath the comedy, he had found something important.

The completed elemental cores had changed his body far more deeply than he realized.

And he had only begun exploring them.

Lin Mu had to sit down immediately.

His expression remained calm on the outside, but internally he was still suffering from the memory of Fatty Mu.

Even now, faint echoes of laughter could still be heard in his mind.

”Holder of Snacks...” Xukong muttered again before breaking into another chuckle.

Lin Mu closed his eyes.

The Severing Heart Sutra began circulating.

Its sharp verses echoed through his consciousness and gradually cleared out the thoughts in his mind.

The embarrassment faded.

The lingering trauma receded.

The image of his rotund self slowly disappeared from his thoughts.

Only after an entire hour did Lin Mu finally open his eyes again.

He took a long breath.

”Good.” He muttered. ”Back to work.”

Xukong snorted.

Lin Mo sounded disappointed.

”No more Fatty Mu?”

Lin Mu ignored him entirely.

He redirected his focus toward muscles.

Compared to fat or skin, muscles were something he had always possessed control over. Body cultivators naturally controlled their musculature to enhance strength, explosiveness and endurance. Lin Mu himself had enlarged his physique many times before during battle.

The issue was that those transformations carried consequences.

Vitality surged.

Immortal essence flowed.

Aura erupted.

One look and anyone would know a body cultivation technique was active.

What Lin Mu wanted was different.

He wanted natural change.

Subtle change.

Something that looked as though he had simply been born that way.

Thus began another experiment.

At first it failed.

Every attempt resulted in his muscles swelling as vitality poured into them.

His aura rose automatically.

Veins bulged.

His body gained the imposing presence of a body cultivator.

Lin Mu frowned.

”Wrong.”

He stopped.

Instead of using vitality directly, he switched approaches.

The cores circulated.

Blood moved.

Nutrients flowed.

This time he focused only on the muscle cells themselves.

He fed them, stimulated them and encouraged replication. Due to this, growth happened gradually. Days passed and eventually success came.

Lin Mu stood before a mirror and looked at his strange form.

His right arm bulged massively.

The muscles rose like carved stone.

His left arm remained completely normal.

Actually...

Normal was generous.

It had become slightly thinner after the imbalance.

Lin Mu stared.

His body tilted.

Standing straight felt strange.

He looked absurd.

Lin Mo immediately appeared.

He looked at the oversized arm.

Then at Lin Mu.

Then smiled devilishly.

”Oh?”

Lin Mu narrowed his eyes.

”What?”

Lin Mo crossed his arms.

”So this is what you were experimenting with.”

He slowly nodded.

”Interesting priorities.”

Lin Mu felt danger.

Xukong also turned his head.

Lin Mo grinned wider.

”Tell me Lin Mu...”

He pointed toward the arm.

”...what exactly were you planning to use this for?”

Silence.

Lin Mu froze.

Xukong realized it.

Then the spider exploded again.

”Hahaha!”

Lin Mo clutched his stomach.

”One Arm Immortal!”

Lin Mu instantly returned himself to normal.

The muscles shrank.

Balance returned.

He took a deep breath.

The Severing Heart Sutra nearly activated again.

Thankfully no one had seen this either.

Though this time the embarrassment faded faster.

Because beneath the absurdity...

He had discovered something important.

These changes looked natural.

There were no energy fluctuations.

No visible signs.

No cultivation traces.

The body simply changed.

Lin Mu sat down again and his expression gradually turned thoughtful as a possibility formed.
