Walker Of The Worlds

Chapter 2547  Rust Sky Worldʼs First Ordainment

The streams of energy were something Lin Mu himself had experienced before in the Xiaofan world.

Of course, his experience was a bit different, as the Xiaofan world was a lot smaller than the Rust Sky World, but their appearance only meant one thing.

”Ordainment… The Great Ocean Hippocampus is getting Ordained by the Worldʼs Will!” Lin Mu exclaimed.

His words finally made everyone understand just what was happening.

”Never thought Iʼd get to see someone getting Ordained by the Worldʼs Will.” Even in his vast experiences in life, this was something Ziran had not witnessed so far.

”Neither did I,” Crown Prince Feng Shun said. ”Iʼve never read about someone getting Ordained by the Rust Sky Worldʼs Will either… this might just be the very first being having that honor.”

”Have you seen this before, Lady Kang?” Crown Princess Shang questioned.

”I have,” Lady Kang answered, much to everyoneʼs surprise. ”When I was small, one of the Kang Clanʼs ancestors was Ordained by a Worldʼs Will. But it was a lot different than this… it wasnʼt so grand.”

Lin Mu could only nod at that, knowing that this was certainly not something normal. It didnʼt take him long to figure out just what the Great Ocean Hippocampus was doing.

ʼIf it is getting Ordained now, it only means… it is time for it to Ascend,ʼ Lin Mu thought as he carefully observed it. ”Everyone pay attention, you might not get to witness something like this anytime soon,” he stated.

”Yeah, the Ordainment of a Worldʼs Will is not something you might see in thousands of years,” Daoist Chu agreed.

”Not that,” Lin Mu shook his head. ”This is a lot more than just that. It is something you all will need at the end of your path.” He said cryptically.

Due to the Heavenly Restrictions, he couldnʼt straight up tell them that this was the Celestial Ascension that billions of immortals yearned for all their lives. But he could at least hint at the importance and wait for them to figure it out themselves.

His words had the perfect effect. All his companions understood that if he was emphasizing something like this, it would truly be of the utmost importance.

Everyone grew silent and watched the mystical process that was taking place.

The Worldʼs Will wrapped around the Great Ocean Hippocampus and blessed it, creating a symbol on its forehead.

Lin Mu could read it very well, as he had obtained it before too.

It was none other than the symbol for ʼOrdained.ʼ

~SHUA~

The symbol sunk down into the Great Ocean Hippocampusʼs head and transformed its aura.

It was like the final missing piece of a puzzle had been found and resolved a mystery.

~HUALA~

A wave of energy was released from the Great Hippocampus as its presence ʼelevated.ʼ

~WHOOSH~

With that done, the Great Ocean Hippocampus took its first breath as its very being transformed.

ʼI canʼt sense it anymore,ʼ Lady Kang realized.

ʼHow did its Qi fluctuations disappear?!ʼ Crown Prince Feng Shun wondered as well. ʼItʼs right in front but I canʼt feel it?ʼ

The same was experienced by the others too, along with Lin Mu.

The man quickly activated his Spatial Perception and watched as invisible wisps of Qi rose from the depths of the Rust Sky World and entered the body of the Great Ocean Hippocampus. Of course, he couldnʼt see the wisps themselves, but their movement was visible against the background of the Spatial Fabric.

ʼSo that is Celestial Qi,ʼ Lin Mu concluded.

To the others, it might seem like just another wisp of Immortal Qi, but Lin Mu could differentiate due to how only they were moving and not the actual Immortal Qi itself. And since he knew just what the process was, he also understood what this Qi would be.

There was only one option… Celestial Qi!

The wisps of Celestial Qi entered the Great Ocean Hippocampusʼs body, as if drops of oil were being added into a jar of water.

Despite being inside the Great Ocean Hippocampusʼs body, Lin Mu could still make them out with his Spatial Perception. Compared to the sheer amount of Immortal Qi that was present in the great beastʼs body, the Celestial Qi was a fraction of a fraction.

And yet, they managed to stand out despite all that.

Lin Mu could tell that the beast was about to finish the process and decided to assist it.

He took out the Key of the Bridge Planeʼs arrays and held it up.

There were no words needed, as the Great Ocean Hippocampus automatically knew what needed to be done.

~WHOOSH~

The Key flew up and quickly reached the Great Ocean Hippocampus, who connected with it and gained control almost instantly.

The arrays that were going haywire calmed down almost immediately, as if what had happened to them had been just a tiny glitch. But this was merely the start.

”NEIGH!” The Great Ocean Hippocampus let out an authoritative cry as the tiny Key glowed.

~HONGLONG~

A strong but ordered Spatial Fluctuation emitted from the Key and reached the Bridge Plane.

Lin Mu saw the Spatial Fabric flickering as its frayed edges began to wiggle and twist. A few seconds later, they began to extend as the Bridge Plane started to close!

”Itʼs closing… itʼs really closing!” Everyone watching cheered.

The speed was slow at first, but it quickly picked up. The Spatial Fabric naturally wanted to return to its normal state, thus it was quite eager to push the Bridge Plane back. With the arrays of the Bridge Plane not interfering with it, the process became easier, and within just five minutes, the Bridge Plane had closed halfway.

The people watching from all continents were filled with great anticipation, hoping that this would go just as they were hoping.

”Heavens are on our side, this nightmare is finally ending,” Emperor Feng said as he swung the fan in his hand and casually slaughtered another thousand Chimeric Beasts in one go.
