Walker Of The Worlds

2539  A World Wide War

”Guard me while I prepare it.” Lady Kang ordered her attendants.

”Yes, my Lady!” Min Ju replied as she took out her silver Pomander.

”Nothing shall come close to you!” Elder Hu said as his fists shone with a red light.

The two protected Lady Kang while she readied her skill.

Lady Kang created handseals as several stars formed from the Stellar Qi released by her.

If one counted them, they would realize that there were seventeen of them. The stars rose high above her as they began to transform into a large figure. ”Eighty Eight Constellation Series- Sixth Form!” Lady Kang controlled the starts as the figure became clearer and clearer. ”The Draconian Beast!” she uttered, as the figure fully formed.

Looking at it one would feel fear. Its eyes shone with stellar power while its wide maw gleamed with the hundreds of teeth that jutted out of it. Its scales that were made out of pure stellar Qi shone like the stars themselves while its muscular tail that could crush mountains within its grasp swayed side to side, as if waiting for a prey.

Lin Mu gazed at the beast, finding it to be a Serpent in nature, having no limbs. But the aura he could feel from it was a lot stronger and also a bit familiar.

”A Dragon?” Qiulong Jiao was astounded seeing the figure formed from stars. ”Such strong Dragonic aura… Almost as if a True Dragon has appeared.” He uttered in surprise.

Hearing that, Lin Mu now understood why he had the familiar feeling. ʼIt is similar to the Azure Dragon Guardian Spirit I met before.ʼ Lin Mu thought to himself. ʼBut his aura was a lot more contained, whereas this one is going wild.ʼ Once the Constellation had fully manifested itself, Lady Kang merely had to execute the final handseal.

”End all foes!” Lady Kang ordered. ”Breath of Draco!” ~ROAR~

In response, the Constellation soared into the sky, flying towards the incoming Chimeric Beast swarm and opened its mouth wide. Then with a roar, it let out a powerful breath that was like a gushing river of stars!

The Constellationʼs breath quickly reached the Chimeric Beast Swarm and overwhelmed it, destroying them upon contact. The figure managed to destroy over a million Chimeric Beasts with it, but this was just the start as it continued to fly.

It let out another breath and burned more of the Chimeric Beasts, going on a killing spree.

Lin Mu who saw all this was surprised at its power.

ʼA skill like this must not be easy to use.ʼ He could tell as he gaze at Lady Kang. ʼSheʼs quickly getting exhausted.ʼ He could sense the flow of Qi around her and the link that connected her with the Constellation.

Such a thing was normally hidden, but with Lin Muʼs Spatial Perception, there was no way he wouldnʼt be able to see the flow of Qi channeling into the Constellation.

ʼItʼs draining nearly a percent of her Qi stores every second.ʼ Lin Mu analyzed after comparing the Qi fluctuations. He also noticed that a few of the Immortal Tools on Lady Kangʼs body were also releasing intense Qi fluctuations. One of the rings on her finger, and a necklace that she was wearing were releasing particularly strong immortal Qi fluctuations.

And when Lin Mu observed them closely, he could see that the Qi was heading right into Lady Kangʼs body, replenishing her own Qi stores.

ʼSheʼll be able to maintain the skill longer this way.ʼ Lin Mu understood. He didnʼt know how long it would be, though. At the rate of one percent per second, Lady Kang would barely be able to maintain the sixth form of Draco for about 100 seconds, but with the supply from her Immortal tools, she might just be able to extend it for twice as long.

Though she could get overwhelmed by the higher drain rate, too.

Of course, the woman knew this too and was already eating a couple of Immortal Alchemical Pills, further bolstering her supply. Feeling Lin Muʼs gaze on her, she met his eyes and gave him a look of confidence, as if she could take this.

”Sheʼs right, I should give it my all, too.” Lin Mu wondered if he should use the Murdering Heart Sutra again.

”Not yet.” But he immediately received a response from Lin Mo. ”Iʼm still busy.” Getting rejected, Lin Mu could only resort to other skills.

~Huu~

ʼI still have other methods.ʼ Lin Mu wasnʼt out of his trump cards just yet. Thinking of his strongest skill, Lin Mu decided to go all out.

He moved back and stood in a Horse Stance, winding his fists back.

He took a deep breath as he began to circulate energies within his body. ʼWith the number of Chimeric Beasts there are, Iʼll have to exceed what Iʼve used before.ʼ Lin Mu had only used the Mountain Collapsing Fist at a maximum output of ten percent before. It was the upper limit of what he could use without getting hurt. But now he was going to forgo that limit to unleash as much damage as he could.

There was an almost endless number of Chimeric Beasts coming, despite the combined assault of everyone.

Though if one divided the current area into six sections, about three of those sections were being stopped in their tracks by the attacks of Crown Prince Feng Shun, Lady Kang, and Daoist Chu.

The other three sections werenʼt halted but were being slowed down by the combined attacks of the rest of the individuals. In these three sections, the Flood Dragon Qiulong Jiao was contributing greatly too and was helping defend some of the stronger attacks that came down their way.

With all the ocean around him, he was basically in his own domain and could protect those around him.

While he had no obligation to do it anymore, he knew that things were a lot more dangerous and that everyone was needed to defend the world. Even if he could escape right now, he would eventually get caught by the Chimeric Beasts as they were invading not just here, but in the entire Rust Sky world.

A similar scene could be seen across the Eight Kingdom Alliance, the Holy Topaz Dynasty, the Dao Wind Empire and the Huiqing Empire.

The experts present there were all fighting against the sudden invasion of the Chimeric Beasts, confused as to how it was happening. The Three Emperors were holding down the fort, doing their best to reduce as much damage as they could. But they were limited to their capital cities, hoping to defend it as much as they could right now.

The Huiqing Emperor was currently injured, but he was still doing his best to defend his empire.

”Your majesty, you should rest. Weʼll handle this.” A burly man with steel horns on his head spoke. This was none other than The Steel Horned General Niu Juo!

”Nonsense! You think Iʼll hide while my empire is under attack!?” Huiqing Emperor scoffed. ”If I am to die, Iʼll die with it!” he said out loud, bolstering the morale of the soldiers that were fighting.

In the Holy Topaz Dynasty, the Emperor Huangyu stood in the sky as a hundred topaz gemstones floated around him.

”What did you do, Yao Changying!? Youʼve doomed the entire world in your greed!” He couldnʼt help but curse his niece. ”DIE!” he roared, causing the topaz gemstones to fly into the swarm of Chimeric beasts before exploding.

But the explosion wasnʼt fiery hot. Instead, the gemstones exploded into dust that covered the Chimeric Beasts. The Chimeric Beasts that came in contact with even the slightest amount of dust turned into yellow rocks, that glimmered in the light.

They had been turned into gemstones!

Far to the south of the holy Topaz Capital, there stood a vast mountain range. In the middle of this mountain range, there existed an elegant palace that extended for nearly twenty kilometers in each direction.

This was none other than the Blue Mountain Palace!

Thousands of beasts cried as they fought against the invasion of the Chimeric Beasts under the guidance of their owners.

”Sister, do you think Brother Mu Lin will be okay?” Ming Dandan asked while killing a Chimeric Beast.

”Of course, he will. If its him, he can probably overcome any fight.” Ming Aolian had faith in the man who had helped them both.

”Focus on the fight, you two!” An elegant woman shouted while sitting upon a large swan that had deep blue feathers.

”Yes, master!” The two said as they quickly assisted their master in fighting alongside their own tamed beasts.

Back in the Dao Wind Empire, the Emperor waved a fan, sending forth sharp gales that slaughtered all the Chimeric beasts that were unfortunate enough to come in its path.

But despite this several beasts still managed to rain down attacks.

”Hurricane Covering Parasol!” In response the Emperor used another Peak Grade Immortal Tools protecting the city from the attacks. ”Have the heavenʼs forsaken us?” he wondered.
