Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 1587: Esports Tournament Part 14

The atmosphere near the Teleport Platform at Haven Wind City turned tense.

Every player was startled by Lightning Blade’s statement.

”The Bombering Guild? Aren’t they just a second-rate guild?”

”The Vanguard Guild’s intelligence network is no joke. To think they could identify members from there.”

”I know, right. I wouldn’t even notice them.”

Many were impressed by Lightning Blade’s keen eyesight.

If it was someone from a famous guild who got identified, they wouldn’t have felt much.

However, this was clearly a small character who got identified and caught on the spot.

That was a different story altogether.

”S-Sir, I’ve bought this advanced slot fair and square. You can’t just deny me entry.” The Bombering Guild member argued. They spent a lot of money on someone else to get his hand on this.

”Bought fair and square?” Lightning Blade sneered and gestured to his subordinates.

Soon, the subordinates approached the person and demanded the advanced slot.

Needless to say, the person struggled and refused to hand it over.

Unfortunately, their struggle was futile. They were no match for Lightning Blade’s subordinates.

These subordinates were essentially Elite Members of Vanguard Guild who had trained daily in the training hall.

As if any second-rate guild members would pose a problem for them, especially when they were targeting a single person.

”This is his advanced slot, Sir.”

One of the subordinates delivered the advanced slot item to him.

Lightning Blade nodded and received the item. Then he pulled up a feature tab to scan the item.

”Player GotAnyPeanuts is the original buyer of this advanced slot. Ban them from all Vanguard’s affiliations.” Lightning Blade declared loudly.

The crowd was stunned by the statement. They never anticipated the advanced slot had identification marks on it.

However, what really shook them to the core was his next words.

Lightning Blade turned to the crowd and warned sternly.

”If you know any friends who sold their advanced slots, make sure you tell them who they were selling it to. We don’t care if you sell the advanced slot to others because you bought it. But we do care if such an advanced slot landed in the hands of someone we have on the ban list.”

Shortly after the warning, Lightning Blade ordered his people to throw the Bombering Guild member into prison for illegal trespassing.

His advanced slot was also confiscated without any form of compensation.

The ruthless method was quickly captured and recorded by others in the crowd.

”This is tyranny!!!”

The Bombering Guild member shouted in fury as he got dragged away from the scene.

Once their voice and presence could no longer be seen, Lightning Blade resumed the inspection.

”We have no intention of stealing your information, but you’ll have to walk through this formation. Within the formation, you will have to permit us to see your status screen. Fret not; the status screen only shows your affiliation and nothing else.” He informed them frankly.

”Why should we be subjected to this kind of screening?”

”Yeah, we’re here to visit and not be a prisoner!”

”There was no such information about this protocol being in place!”

Sure enough, the crowd began to riot at such treatment. Not everyone was guilty of being affiliated with those on the ban list, but they obviously felt disrespected to be treated in such a manner.

They weren’t criminals or anything.

Why should they reveal their status screen?

Who knows if Lightning Blade was true?

A player’s status screen was their most important detail that determined their fate.

Keep in mind that there was an esports tournament that they all wanted to participate in. If they revealed their status screen, that would mean their data was exposed, and others could take advantage of it to defeat them.

”You can think that we’re lying, but we will both see the status screen.”

Lightning Blade naturally understood their concerns. When he was first informed of such a protocol, he nearly got a fright too.

After all, the players would devour him alive if he really pulled such a move to steal their data.

Hell, even he would bring hell to others if they dared to take his data.

However, the formation only detected their name and affiliation. If they had no guild, then only the name would be displayed.

This was a good security measure to prevent any disguise or lies about their said identity.

The Alchemy Profession players were getting scary and invented a disguise potion that could last for a certain duration. The higher the quality, the greater the effect and duration it would be.

”Let me demonstrate to you all,” he calmly said and proceeded to enter the formation.

Soon, the information that revealed Lightning Blade and his affiliation with the Vanguard Guild was shown to them.

”This is what the screen will display, and it’ll be private between us. We all want to be safe and sound in a player-owned city, right? I’m sure all those who are lawful and not on our ban list will be happy to comply.”

Sure enough, some people in the crowd began to sweat profusely.

With public opinion swaying and people keeping silent, those who still raised a complaint were equivalent to confessing their guilt.

’Damn it, how come I’ve never heard of that formation?’

’Fuck the guild leader and the higher-ups. Why did they ally with Razor Nightmare? We’re just mere cannon fodder anyway.’

’Your daddy paid so much for this advanced slot from someone. A stupid fucking guild I am in will bar me from entering?’

Without hesitation, those who had less loyalty to their guild immediately left on their own.

They refused to let a guild they couldn’t be bothered to shackle their great opportunity.

’Ahh, the Guild Leader’s move is really spectacular.’ Lightning Blade could see some people in the crowd panicking somewhat. It was evident that they were leaving their guild or attempting to do something before stepping into the formation.

’We really are the friendliest and most honorable guild to exist.’ They were giving them second chances to redeem themselves.
