Villain Seduces to Rise in Status

An hour passed, and Cale found her.

There she was.

Cale’s gaze suddenly stopped.

A familiar figure stood some distance away, separated from him by the quiet space between them.

Fiora.

It had been a long time since he had last seen her.

Her long silver hair cascaded down her back and over her shoulders, strands of it drifting loosely around her face. Beneath the pale locks was a beautiful, almost ethereal face—delicate features, half-lidded eyes, and soft lips that gave her an air of distant elegance.

She wore black, the dark fabric contrasting sharply against her silver hair and pale complexion. Fine ornaments adorned her ears and neck, their subtle glimmer catching the light whenever she moved.

For a moment, the surroundings seemed to fade into the background.

The last time he had seen Fiora felt like another lifetime.

Yet even after all those years, he recognized her instantly. Cale remained where he was, watching her quietly from afar. He didn’t call out. He simply stood there, his eyes resting on her figure—mature, composed, untouchable.

’Oh god of milfs, my eyes are blessed!’

Then, she looked at him, startled. She didn’t know who this man was. After going through body rejuvenation, Cale was irrecognizable. Her guards thought it was someone eyeing their lady and stepped forward.

Fiora raised a hand, sending them and Niva all back.

’Oh? She recognized me. Heh, she took control of my talisman.’

He took three steps, which felt like a hundred, standing right beside her, staring at her. She still had that ice-cold look, watching him with a blank face.

But Cale didn’t miss it—she blushed! The ice fairy of the kingdom blushed!

’Heh, has my charm leveled to this point?’

Seeing him smirk, Fiora couldn’t understand what he was thinking. They started walking together.

”Why are you smiling? Is there something on my face?” she asked.

Cale laughed. ”Heh, I thought you wouldn’t recognize me this easily. And blushing too? Oh, I’ve seen everything now.”

She squinted her eyes. ”It’s not that hard to recognize you.”

’Hmm? What kind of stalker is she?’

”I was afraid. Who knows, today might be my last day. Well, are you going to kill me~?” he asked, making a cute puppy face.

It was a hard to resist face! Fiora quickly looked to the other side.

”Hmph, why would I kill you? You’re my fiancé.”

”That is exactly why I’m more scared. Your unusual interest in me is scaring me more,” he replied.

”A person who sleeps with their stepsister shouldn’t be afraid of anything. I thought,” she said with a smug tone, though her face remained the same.

”Ugh, you don’t know how that eve—” but she cut him off.

”Not even leaving her knight and your own maid. Such a lustful person,” she added.

”Umm.” Well, what could he say? Although he wasn’t at fault here, it was these women around him! but on such topics people would naturally side with the women, even if the said woman was a serial killer!

He sighed. ”So? Are you here to rub salt in me? I thought we were a team. Did you make someone else write those letters? Your actions sure are quite different.”

”Why would I make someone else write private letters?” she replied.

The conversation was getting nowhere. He thought they had sorted their relationship by now.

”So, why do you want to marry me? I doubt you would simply agree to what Uncle said,” he asked.

”So you want to know the reason... even though it was you who volunteered for it when you were a child,” she said, her tone growing a bit grim.

Cale went into thought. ’Hmm? I volunteered?’

He was someone with tens of thousands of years of memories of others, with his own two lives. How the hell could he—

But then he realized! He indeed had said such a thing.

’But... wasn’t it a joke!’

Fiora, with her ice element, was someone who had near to no emotions, or rather she didn’t show them. Her body was so cold most of the time when she fought. Even last time when Cale was subdued, he was literally being frozen.

It wasn’t a special body or a physique. It was just an inherent property.

At one time, while discussing at a family gathering, Cale—who had just recently transmigrated ten years ago—happily said that if he had the body to help Fiora, he would obviously help her.

’Of course, who wouldn’t help a milf right ahead of them!’

And no, it wasn’t exactly sex they had to do. The two people of opposite attributes just needed to stay together, helping each other form a natural harmony.

’It seems that after killing those three off, she couldn’t help but choose me, since I won’t be marrying her just for political reasons.’

”And you seem to be ogling me ever since we first met, so I thought why not him. You’re strong, have potential, and seem to understand and decipher things quickly. And most of all, you don’t seem interested in the throne,” she added, and Cale sighed.

”So... I was sorted out from your list?” he asked.

”And...”

”And?” he asked, getting impatient.

She turned her head to the other side again. ”You look slightly better than any man I know.”

’Slightly better, she says. Heh.’

”Well, alright. If a milf of my dreams comes to ask for marriage, all I can do is buckle up and agree happily,” he laughed.

”What even are you saying?” she asked annoyingly. What was a ’milf’? She couldn’t know!

Turning, he stood right in front of her, holding her hands into his. Now was the chance to use the face card.

Her face had a tint of red. Rather than just blushing, she was surprised too. Cale had gotten bolder!

”Although I would be busy roaming around the world, I seem to have gotten another person in my life, heh. Princess, now that you’ve gotten in this trap, don’t you dare try to escape,” he said, tilting his head with a light smile.

And Fiora? She was easily smitten! No one had done such a thing with her before.

’H-how could he say something like that with a straight face! This womanizer...’ She could only look at the ground.

Looking at her like this, Cale smiled more.

’Hehe, cute. Should I take it a notch up?’

He suddenly grabbed her shoulders, showing fake panic on his face, making her even more startled.

”Princess, are you okay? Your face is getting redder. Are you sick or maybe hurt somewhere?”

He asked, placing his palm on her forehead.

”I-I’m fine. M-maybe it was due to the teleportation,” she replied. ”But... can I ask you something?”

”Hmm? What?” he raised an eyebrow.

”Um... don’t you hate me after that incident? I think I acted quite rash...” she asked hesitantly.

He laughed. Such was Fiora’s personality. She was fierce to others but turned timid quite quickly if she got close to them. And there was a chance that maybe the Emperor noticed Cale’s growth too, adding to asking her to marry him, making her decision more assured.

”Heh, why would I hate you? I doubt I could hate someone like you,” he hugged her, startling her more.

It was true. Cale couldn’t possibly hate her. Or rather, most of the people of the royal family. They were better than his own family, though both came from the same bloodline.

Fiora was one of the people who helped provide him money even when he was thrown out of the kingdom. Was she pitying him? Maybe. But so what? She did help him in troubled times. At least her intentions were pure. She was someone who showed everything upfront, not someone with masks on her face.

And well, even if Cale accepts every woman who loves him, he can’t know who will accompany him to the end. All he can do is hope. Hope that they strive as much as him. Hope that their longing for him is strong enough to help them survive long.

”W-why... are you acting so affectionate suddenly!” she squeaked in his hug.

”Hmm, aren’t we engaged now? These things are common,” he laughed.

”Says the one sleeping with his stepsister and maid,” she mumbled.

”Ugh... can you forget that? Isn’t it normal to have more wives as a noble?” he sighed.

”I’m not stopping you... but you should restrain yourself! I can’t see you having more than two or three concubines!” she replied.

’Heh, so they’re already concubines... phew. Oh, heavens above, what situation is this?’

At last, all he could do was reassure her.
