Villain Seduces to Rise in Status

Rhaezel drifted upward through the ethereal mist, entirely reborn from the ancient ruins of his shattered past. He effortlessly embraced the most powerful, profound truths between heaven and earth, violently shedding the final shackles of his mortal flesh.

As chaotic winds whipped around his ascending figure, he confidently breached the legendary, untouchable domain of the Self-Severing Realm. He attained transcendence!

To cultivate at an insurmountable pace, he fractured his very existence, severing the deep fetters of the spirit and the lingering obsessions of his heart. Multiple flawless avatars manifested in the void—one clad in pristine white, another in blood red—each perfectly framed by dramatic, high-contrast celestial lighting.

This brutal Tribulation of Severing the Old Self was executed with a rapid, rhythmic precision that completely defied all heavenly logic.

’Is he... making different avatars to speed up his cultivation?’ Cale thought.

The sudden, explosive surge of energy threatened to hurl him into the abyss in an instant, summoning a colossal, golden-eyed beast from the thunderous clouds.

Yet, Rhaezel merely cast a cold, indifferent gaze, his dominant aura pulsing with a heavy, driving resonance like a meticulously produced symphony.

”I am a world myself, what force can the laws here do to me.” he declared, commanding a massive, swirling Yin-Yang array into existence to crush the opposition.

The cosmic void shattered into a sprawling canvas of floating planets and debris, all perfectly orchestrated around his solitary, god-like figure. Condensing searing golden fire into a radiant lotus, he unleashed a devastating strike to violently sever the Heaven’s Heart itself.

In a blinding, cinematic crescendo of absolute light, his ultimate Dao Principles fully manifested, marking his supreme Self-Severing achieved.

Rhaezel’s footfalls echoed with the crushing weight of thunder as he stepped onto the glowing precipice bridging the mortal world and the upper realms. With every calm, deliberate stride he took, liquid gold erupted from the very fabric of the air, violently weaving into an indestructible, sovereign fiery armor that seamlessly encased his arms and chest. The sheer, suffocating density of his ambient spiritual pressure cascaded down the mountain like a physical weight, forcing the countless disciples gathered below to their knees in reverent, paralyzed terror.

He approached the grand, sweeping celestial staircase, his dark, intricately embroidered robes trailing effortlessly over the massive, ancient golden seal carved deep into the stone plaza.

As he confidently ascended the steps, a blinding, catastrophic explosion of colossal violet and sapphire wings tore from his back, casting a god-like, luminescent silhouette against the suddenly darkening heavens.

Below him, the once-proud sect elders and masters could only stare in silent, trembling disbelief, their centuries of arrogant cultivation rendered entirely meaningless before his sheer, overwhelming majesty.

Pausing his ascent, Rhaezel slowly turned his head, his piercing, impossibly sharp eyes glowing with a terrifying, liquid gold brilliance that silently demanded the absolute submission of the entire world.

He casually clenched his fist, and a torrential vortex of searing golden flames instantly ignited around his armored gauntlet, eagerly responding to his unspoken will.

A mile away, the massive, supposedly unbreakable dimensional barriers guarding the upper sect suddenly shattered like fragile glass, entirely unable to withstand the mere passive radiation of his monstrous, unyielding aura.

The golden fires of his gaze deepened into a burning, apocalyptic orange as he looked down upon the trembling masses who had gathered to witness his impossible, heaven-defying ascension.

Drifting upward on his majestic wings of swirling, crackling cosmic energy, Rhaezel elegantly took his seat upon a newly manifested throne forged of pure, oppressive dark power.

Framed perfectly by the grand, sweeping golden gates of the ultimate heaven, he sat in unhurried silence as the undisputed, unrivaled sovereign of all realms.

Blank...

”Huh? It’s... over? How many years did I even watch? It was like seeing ten to twenty thousand years of his life. But oh, what a magnificent life he lived!”

[Host is being pulled out of the mindspace...]

He looked one last time at Rhaezel. That man... did he finally gain the freedom he wanted? Or did he find a place where he at least felt free? Cale could never know. But still, to show him his entire life of thousands of years, Cale could only bow one last time before his consciousness was pulled outside.

Inside the cave, Cale sat with eyes closed. He had just seen a way too long of a memory. To digest such a thing and even try to take teachings from it was quite difficult.

Using his mindspace as a way to find out time, it had been around four days outside.

”Hmm... I have learnt a lot of things. Though he was one of the most primitive users of cultivation, maybe that’s why he didn’t have any flashy techniques or arts and just showed his entire life to me... good. Let’s think of how to make use of it.”

Checking the system, he noticed now he had really obtained [Merciless Sword Dao] in it. Along with [Path of Demon] and [Law of Death].

”Heh, it seems now is the time I can start the real training which I aimed for. My foundations have been weak. But now that the reset has happened, I actually gained my gone lifespan back too. How wonderful.”

The next ten days, he found various herbs, rare items and many things which could be grown in his mindspace, so that he wouldn’t have to worry about supplies.

’Sigh... it hasn’t even been a year and I’m feeling lonely here now. Hehe. What a weak heart.’

With his experience, he needed a good amount of power and skill in attack, defense, healing, storage, recon and movement—six attributes to provide him support. Well, a gamer’s knowledge does have use in such things.

He stored all three rings in his storage. Now was no time to even allow a single bit of any energy in his body.

Standing atop a mountain’s cliff, he looked at the morning sun emerging. His cave behind him, a light breeze fell upon him.

He closed his eyes, and Noxis materialized in his hand.
