Omega Summoner

All of them did not expect the sudden arrival of Eldritch because he came like a meteor crashing down. It was not a figure of speech, but he really did come crashing down on them on a meteor. The powerful shockwave upon its crash made the entire area be covered in dust. When the dust settled, Eldritch already committed a killing spree with the High Star Spawn that he came with.

The High Star Spawn is a small part of the god that he has a contract with. The High Star Spawn absolutely obeys his commands and could actually pierce through dimensions. This is what happened as the meteor was actually a creation of the High Star Spawn that destroyed the mist barrier deployed by the Black Tortoise of the North. Googlᴇ search novèlfire.net

Eldritch did not come to the eastern continent because he just felt like it. He would not have brought a High Star Spawn if that was the case as he is haughty enough to believe that he is strong by himself. Eldritch came to the eastern continent’s northern area because he needed the Essence Boundary that the Black Tortoise of the North actually guards.

The Essence Boundary is a special artifact that could help beings from other dimension pass through lower dimensions. This is especially true for the god that Eldritch has a contract with because there are many beings there that cannot go to the main dimension. Higher Dimensional beings cannot go to lower dimensions just because they want to.

Higher Dimensional beings usually do not obey the concept of the lower dimensions which is why going there could lead them to death. Only the truly strong can pass through the main dimension without getting killed but they will be weakened. This is what the people of central continent called Travelers or those of the east that call it Otherworldly. Beings from higher dimensions that descend and create havoc.

As soon as the High Star Spawn arrived, it immediately targeted the mist that concealed the Black Tortoise of the North. With a powerful psionic blast from all mouths in its body, the High Star Spawn destroyed the mist barrier and pulled Black City back to the main dimension. The sudden appearance of Black City made the Kami organization members shocked as they could not enter the other side even if they used everything in their arsenal.

“Click click click” The High Star Spawn stated as it could not use normal language, but it produced clicking sounds that is a combination of cricket sounds and dolphin sounds.

“Find the Essence Boundary at all costs. I do not care if you kill every living being in that city to get it. I shall have my way with a very special friend here that I need to take revenge on.” Eldritch stated as he looked towards Tai.

Eldritch has yet to settle his battle with Tai as he was left as a loser from their last encounter. Eldritch did not expect that he would encounter an enemy that he wanted to utterly humiliate in this place. He found this mission boring because all they need to do is kill a large turtle and take an artifact from it. The encounter with Tai made Eldritch become invigorated as he always wanted to destroy that confident smug on that guy’s face.

“You shall play me with. Do not bore me because I have increased my strength to a great degree.” Eldritch stated but Tai actually ignored him and commanded the other groups of the Kami organization to enter the city immediately.

Eldritch did not take kindly to the fact that he was being ignored by the one he deemed as an enemy. Eldritch also saw Levin Cloud, Peridot and another NPC enter the city, but he could care less about them. He figured out that they must have been fighting against each other earlier and that he suddenly barged inside their battle. Eldritch just let them quietly slip through as he did not care about them since he viewed them as weak.

“The other dragon could be called strong, but I do not care for NPCs.” Eldritch stated.

“As for you, you actually dared to ignore me?” Eldritch added as the NPCs under Tai suddenly leapt across the sky and tried to enter the city as well.

Tai was also trying to avoid Eldritch because he does not care about the latter at all. In fact, Tai only remembered Eldritch to be slightly stronger than the average player but has all the weaknesses of the mage class. When Tai used the palm attack that disrupted Eldritch’ mana, all of Eldritch’ spell could no longer used and he was beat up easily after that.

For Tai, Eldritch is not an enemy that he needs to be on guard against as his job class is basically weak against fighters like him. This was the error in Tai’s judgment though because Eldritch is a different monster like Adrian. Eldritch has outstanding growth compared to other players that have joined the side of the Evil Dark Gods and Distorted Gods.

One should actually be very afraid that they have never heard of any of what he is doing because he is a great schemer as well. He knows how to manipulate things in the shadows so well that even the gods do not know what the Followers of the Dark and Distorted Gods are doing. The fact that he showed himself means that it was either a coincidence or they were now at the last phase of their plans.

“For ignoring me, I shall give all of your subordinates an excruciating death. Malevolent Thorns!” Eldritch stated as he slammed his staff onto the ground which made the grotesque deformed baby looking thing on top of it cry out.

Eldritch’ shadow suddenly extended to cover a large area, and then sharp tendrils came out of them. The tendrils were like a mixture of an octopus tentacle and a tree trunk with red eyes on them. The Malevolent Thorns were quick and pierced all of the Immortals that paid no attention to Eldritch.

The Malevolent Thorns pierced the bodies of the Immortals and actually released more of them inside of their nervous system. The pierced Immortals suddenly started to scream in agony and twist in pain until they started to fuse into the Malevolent Thorns. The bodies of the Immortals twisted into ways that the normal human body could never withstand but they were actually still alive.

“He… lp… me!” The Immortals faintly stated as their voices could barely create any sentence.

The last words of the Immortals were the only things that they could now say because the Malevolent Thorns have also invaded their cranial capacity. The Malevolent Thorns that have trapped the Immortals and is sucking up the nutrients from their bodies would stay still once they have caught a target. One Malevolent Thorn could only target one being at a time and they will stop once they caught one but Eldritch summoned thousands of them.

Some Immortals managed to dodge the initial attacks of the Malevolent Thorns, but they all succumbed to it at the very end. The Malevolent Thorn did not stop with just absorbing the nutrients of the victims it has captured. Once it captured a living being, it would then stay still and use the very nutrients it has taken from its victims to create a Malevolent Tree.

The Malevolent Tree would then grow leaves that are made of eyes and mouths that would say the last words of the being that it has sucked the life force of. The sight of their comrades suddenly turning into cursed trees made the Kami organization members almost puke despite them living through the horrors of human civilization. They saw the horror etched on the faces of their comrades as the Malevolent Tree would have the face of the being it has devoured in a twisted expression.

“Ah! Such bliss! To think that they had souls that contained divine energy. All of you are actually very useful for my garden. At least all of you would be useful for something.” Eldritch stated as he already reduced the remaining Kami organization members by a quarter.

“Lunatic!” One of the Kami Organization’s Ascendant Immortal shouted as he poured a vast amount of internal energy into his sword.

The Ascendant Immortal was quick and precise as he closed the gap between him and Eldritch in an instant. The sword filled with internal energy actually pierced Eldritch’ chest which made the Ascendant Immortal believe that he already won. What the Ascendant Immortal saw has horrified him to a great degree as Eldritch was staring at him with smiling eyes and mouth.

“Know what you are fighting against first.” Eldritch stated as a Malevolent Thorn pierced the body of the Ascendant Immortal from below him which made the sharp part of the thorn come out of the skull. Eldritch then proceeded to laugh maniacally as he relished the look of horror that the pathetic bug before him had.
