My system allows me to copy talents

Having completed the season objective, Hiro gained a lot, and his stats rose significantly. However, the most important benefit would still be the communication talent he obtained from completing the season objectives.

Although exhausted, Hiro glanced at the holographic screen floating before his eyes and contemplated, “Would I keep growing even after hitting the max limit?”

Some of his attributes were reaching closer to the maximum limit. However, he wasn’t at the stage where it would start deteriorating.

So, Hiro couldn’t help but wonder if he’d continue to grow even after maxing his stat.

Looking at the panel, Hiro mused, “Won’t I be considered one of those cheat players in the game? Maybe this season, I might get a significant rise. Maybe, I can finally become one of those gold card players too.”

Though Hiro rarely played games, he looked forward to seeing his rating in the game.

For a while, he mused over at the rating.

Rolling his eyes over to the note, Hiro’s gaze turned solemn. It had been some while since he last checked his status. So, he wasn’t aware of the notification about the upgrade.

However, now that he witnessed it, he couldn’t help but think deeply about it.

“An upgrade huh?” Hiro muttered, his expression solemn. “What kind of benefit would it bring after the upgrade?”

“Well…, I had been thinking about using the gathered points to strengthen the other bones. Guess, that’ll have to wait…”

Hiro then proceeded to upgrade the system. One thing was clear to him— upgrading the system brought many benefits.

Looking forward to the benefits, Hiro emptied the points he had gathered to upgrade the system.

[System Upgrading… Please wait….]

[Time required for the upgrade: 7 days]

[Until then the host won’t be able to access the system feature and your skills and talents will be locked too.]

Fortunately for him, Hiro didn’t need to perform for the next seven days, or this notice would have been disastrous. Yet still, Hiro couldn’t help but feel frustrated at the notice.

To be unable to access his skills and talents for the next seven days, what if a predicament arises?

Being unable to access his skills and talents meant he would have to rely on himself for the next seven days. The thought of being unable to access his skills for the next seven days bothered him and he couldn’t stop thinking about it.

He was supposed to train with the first team tomorrow. So, now that he couldn’t use his skills and talents, what kind of impression would it leave on them?

Wouldn’t it mean that his first impression would be disastrous?

“Just why does it have to be now?” Hiro growled feeling restless. “Now, they’d think I’m some kind of overrated teenager…”

The more he thought about the training, the more he felt irritated.

“Should I call in for a sick?” Hiro didn’t want to leave a bad first impression on his soon-to-be teammates.

Restless, he began to toss and turn around in the bed. For a while, he couldn’t get rid of the feeling of irritation.

After a while, he paused, “But… shouldn’t I be glad that it happened at this stage? I mean, I don’t have to play right now. So, shouldn’t I be glad instead?”

Stabilizing his breath, Hiro began to ponder. Now that he thought about it, he started feeling better. He felt relieved that this change didn’t happen during the middle of an ongoing season.

After weighing the pros and cons, Hiro didn’t feel bothered.

However, he couldn’t help thinking about the training session. Previously, the thought of training with the first team excited him. However, now, it only made him feel anxious.

If possible he’d like to skip the training.

It was the first time he had wished for something like this.

“Let’s just go along with it…,” Hiro dismissed the thought and went to sleep.

Fortunately for him, Simeone informed him that he didn’t have to participate in the training early in the morning.

Hiro was prepared to participate. However, after meeting Simeone, he was informed that he didn’t have to participate until the unveiling ceremony.

Hearing that, Hiro felt at ease.

There were still a few days left for the unveiling. Though he wouldn’t be able to access his skills and talents, he didn’t feel burdened about the presentation.

After all, dribbling was something he was confident about.

For a few days, Hiro toured around the city and enjoyed his stay. It was like a vacation for him. Before his presentation, Atletico had a match against Osasuna.

Hiro was invited to this match.

However, he was told to maintain a low profile. The club didn’t want him garnering the attention before the official presentation.

After all, they had been investing quite a lot to advertise him for the upcoming presentation.

Hiro attended the match incognito without being noticed. Though the fans were expecting to see him, they couldn’t spot him even though he was present with them.

The match ended in a draw.

This left the Atletico fans disappointed. Even though they were having a good season, they were placed third in the table. Read the latest on empire

However, the competition for the top four was rather fierce with only one point separating the third spot and the fifth spot.

With this draw they dropped two precious points, sending them to the fifth of the table.

This season, the Spanish league was rather fierce. Even the point difference between the first and the seventh wasn’t that huge.

With only seven points separating the first Barcelona, and the seventh Athletic Club, it looked like it’d be anybody’s season.

Even the point difference between the first and second was only one point.

Thus almost every club was on the edge.
