“Welcome, Hiro,” Simeone said, his face lit with excitement.

While he smiled, wrinkles formed around his eyes and forehead. Revealing a warm amiable smile, Simeone greeted Hiro.

For some reason, Hiro felt relieved upon seeing Simeone’s smiling face. He didn’t seem as intimidating as he appeared during the post-match interviews.

Hiro steadily advanced inside the room.

With a wide grin plastered on his face, Simeone stretched his hand toward Hiro. Hiro grabbed his hand thinking it would only be a handshake.

However, when he took his hand, Simeone threw himself in his embrace.

This Hiro wasn’t used to. Hence, he felt a little startled when Simeone hugged him out of nowhere. Even Pablo hadn’t done this to him before.

And from where he hailed from such gestures were rather uncommon.

“Did you have any trouble reaching here?” Simeone asked, his words polite.

After conversing for a while, they headed to the medical facility.

The facility was equipped with all sorts of expensive equipment, and the staff seemed to be awaiting his arrival.

“Let me introduce you to our medical team,” Simeone said heading inside.

“She is Dr. Sofia Martinez, our head sports physician,” Simeone introduced.

Doctor Sofia appeared to be in her thirties. She was a tall woman with a lean frame, and she possessed a striking pair of striking green eyes. Her short, dark brown hair with streaks of grey smoothly cascaded down her head like a waterfall.

She had worn a white long robe, tight around her bust and butt.

“Hello, I’m Takahashi Hiro. I’ll be under your care,” Hiro introduced himself politely and bowed.

Revealing an amiable smile, Sofia stretched her hand to greet him, “You’re quite polite, aren’t you?”

She mused staring at him as if he were her next plaything. Hiro for some reason, didn’t find her gaze appealing.

His gaze, however, kept wandering on her half-revealed bust. He tried to look away but couldn’t. It was as if he were drawn to it. For some reason, Hiro got a hard-on while staring at her bust.

The sudden hard-on embarrassed him.

Flustered, he looked away, ‘Why is it happening now?’

Then they moved on to another individual. This individual was rather tanned and had patches of beard covering his face. He had a rather well-defined jawline as if it were sculpted by a master sculptor.

As compared to Sofia, this individual was rather short.

His short, dark hair was neatly combed and he wore a pair of silver-rimmed glasses that accentuated the charm of his sculpted face.

Underneath the white lab coat, he had worn a polo shirt, and he looked to be around forties. “This is our Orthopedic Specialist, Dr. Rajiv Patel,” Simeone introduced.

Rajiv warmly smiled at Hiro as he stretched his hand for a handshake, “Hello, Hiro. Welcome to Madrid.”

Afterward, Simeone introduced a few other people, and they proceeded with the test. He was wrapped around all sorts of wires and equipment to monitor his condition.

“Then shall we check your condition?” Rajiv said amicably.

While he was getting tapped and wrapped, Hiro noticed that Rajiv was rather famous around here. The people there liked him and he was rather friendly.

He appeared to be a nice guy well-liked by everyone.

“Then can you get on the treadmill?” Rajiv asked.

Following his instruction, Hiro stepped on the treadmill. The atmosphere inside the facility was rather light. With all of them coordinating well with each other, Hiro didn’t feel nervous at all.

Hiro even felt as if he could bond well with this group.

“We’ll keep the pace slow for the first few minutes then increase gradually,” Sofia said lifting her head to look at him.

Hiro was half-naked, tapped, and wrapped as if he were an experimental subject.

Under her piercing gaze, Hiro felt as if he were stripped naked under a cold blizzard. For some reason, he couldn’t stop thinking about her bust.

Even while he ran, he couldn’t stop pondering about the unusual response he had earlier, ‘Are my hormones acting up?’

He kept pondering, lost in his thoughts.

‘Well, even though I’m an old man inside, biologically I’m still a teen. So, it isn’t anything surprising that I’m experiencing such a response,’ Hiro kept pondering.

While he was pondering, the medical staff had been steadily increasing the pace of the treadmill. When he came to his senses, he couldn’t help but feel dumbfounded at the gaze he received from the medical staff.

‘Huh? Why are they looking at me like this?’ Hiro felt perplexed.

They stared at him with astonished gazes. It almost seemed as if they had seen something astonishing.

“Amazing! I’ve never seen something like this. His maximal oxygen uptake is even higher than the previously recorded maximum. A whopping 107 mL/kg/min. Just what kind of insane figure is this? Is he even human at this point?” Marcus Sneijder mumbled in astonishment.

“Exactly, the recorded maximum was just 96 mL/kg/min. Even a figure of 85-90 would be considered impressive. But his number has exceeded 100. Is this even possible?” Rajiv couldn’t believe his eyes either.

“What about his heart rate?” Elena, one of the physiotherapists asked.

“A constant 230-236 bpm,” Rajiv uttered, his face pale with astonishment.

Sofia couldn’t help but stare at Hiro as if she were looking at something out of this world. Those were some superhuman figures. Even top athletes wouldn’t be able to achieve those figures. Yet this eighteen-year-old boy had achieved it almost effortlessly.

No wonder, he could accelerate so fast in such a short interval.

Now, upon witnessing those superhuman figures on the screen, everything started to fall together. From this test, they could tell that Hiro definitely wasn’t an ordinary figure.

However, the main concern was still recovery.

If his body couldn’t recover well after achieving this marvelous figure then they wouldn’t amount to anything. It would indicate that he’d be susceptible to injuries.

“It’s enough,” Rajiv said and stopped the treadmill.

Hiro had been feeling a little out of breath himself. So, he was glad that they stopped the

treadmill.

‘Just how long had I been sprinting?’ Gasping, he thought while the staff handed him a towel

to wipe his sweat.
