Emperor’s Domination

She sat on a throne, surrounded by swirling immortal energy and drifting worlds.

“An illusion?” She murmured. However, with a single thought, immortal laws obeyed her. The fortunes of the world bent to her whims.

She couldn’t believe it but when she checked her true fate, she saw a legacy in the form of a primordial tree. Only true primordial immortals had a legacy.

This tree was real as well as she tried to control it. She entered the river of time where Stygian was.

She saw Golden Lamp being the center of Stygian. The illumination of the dao heart reached all places.

She still didn’t believe it and began walking back on time. She witnessed her journey from being an emperor to an ancient ancestor, from an overlord to an immortal.

Skepticism gradually disappeared because everything she saw was the truth. The people she saw, her current throne…

“Okay, wake up!” Suddenly, a supreme will swept everything away.

“Splash!” She was covered in water upon waking up.

Her throne and legacy were gone as she found herself back on the water’s surface.

“How, how long was I down there?” She shuddered.

“Just the blink of an eye.” He said.

“What?!” She blurted: “But I traveled through the river of time, one epoch after another…”

She believed she had never lost her way, given her strong dao heart. The time spent was also palpable. The various emotions were true, so how could it only be the blink of an eye?

“The power disparity is immense.” Li Qiye said: “The fact that you lasted a blink is a testament to your firm dao heart.”

She broke out in cold sweats upon hearing this. Her dao heart faltered so quickly if he hadn’t woken her up?

“What is this place now?” She asked.

“A place that can fulfill any of your desires and fantasies.” Li Qiye said before waving his hand.

Everything vanished and Stygian returned, the same as ever. She also saw Golden Lamp. Goldsilver Tree entered seclusion once more. Blaze Ancestor returned to his sect; Thunder Kingdom assumed normalcy under the leadership of its ministers.

She also saw Apexblade meditating. However, there was a shrine built for him now.

“Is this real or fake?” She could no longer trust herself to recognize authenticity.

“What do you think?” Li Qiye waved again.

“Boom!” The wrath of the high heaven suddenly appeared in the form of tribulations.

“What?!” She immediately became suppressed by the tribulations capable of breaking down the nine major worlds.

Her vision turned dark for she was dead until Li Qiye raised his hand and dispelled the phenomenon. She clearly thought she had died but this wasn’t the case.

They stood on the water once more. Unfortunately, she became traumatized after being targeted by the tribulations.

“You must withstand this type of destruction and erase the shadow. Otherwise, it will be your confinement. When you do, your dao heart is firm enough to make anything possible in the future.” Li Qiye said.

“Can I erase it…” She felt nothing but despair and fear upon seeing the power of the high heaven. Even immortals would tremble.

“Yes, the dao heart can do it. This is the time to polish yourself.” Li Qiye said.

“I will strengthen my dao heart and destroy it.” She understood his intention and bowed.

The trauma came with possibilities. If she could destroy this heart devil, her future would be boundless.

“Well, something’s still not right. It wasn’t like this before.” Li Qiye turned his attention to something else.
