Emperor’s Domination

“Right, something is going on.” Goldsilver agreed.

“If this continues, he will not survive.” Li Qiye said.

“Is it a mighty foe?!” Blaze Ancestor asked.

Although Bear Immortal was an outsider, he had protected them for generations now. Therefore, they had nothing but love for him. The problem was that they were too weak to offer assistance.

“Not an opponent, he just came to a place he shouldn’t have.” Li Qiye said.

“What can we do?” Blaze asked, being the one with the strongest ties to Bear Immortal.

“Alright, alright, go back from whence you came.” Li Qiye smiled and gave the order.

“Well…” They were surprised.

“Can you be of use here?” He said.

They exchanged glances and agreed.

“You, follow me.” Li Qiye pointed at Thunder Emperor before leaving.

“Me?” She pointed at herself in confusion.

“Go, hurry!” Goldsilver, the overlord, reacted faster than anyone and pushed her.

She regained her wits and sped after Li Qiye.

“Clank.” As for Apexblade, he pinned his thin sword into the ground and sat down. Far in the future, he still maintained this position. Many built him a shrine afterward since he seemingly became a statue.

“Disperse now, everyone.” Goldsilver ordered.

Cultivators in Thunder Kingdom obeyed the order of the overlord, signaling the end to the summoning call.

“Where are we going?” Thunder Emperor curiously asked.

“Just taking a look.” Li Qiye smiled and teleported both to the base of a great peak.

“Bear Immortal Mountain.” She murmured.

The mountain had the shape of a standing bear grasping the stars and roaring at the sky. It emitted faint immortal light flowing like a temporal river.

This was the home of Bear Immortal. Everyone else respected him and kept their distance. Mortals weren’t qualified to bother him. Thunder Emperor also kept a distance, believing that no one should intrude.

Cultivators chose to show respect through ceremonies instead. Blaze Ancestor was one of them.

After a sincere worship, he dreamed about the immortal and was granted a special flame. This helped him become an ancient ancestor.

As far as Thunder Emperor knew, the mountain had been here since Bear Immortal’s arrival. It was the highest peak in Golden Lamp. One needed to cross through this place to reach the deepest areas. Thus, some considered it the boundary between Golden Lamp’s common and core areas.

Rumor has it that the immortal dragged the peak from Stygian to Golden Lamp. Whether it was already there or otherwise, it was too long ago for people to verify.

Thunder Emperor felt the urge to prostrate. Normally, there was an immortal presence here but today, it didn’t affect her at all while following Li Qiye.

He walked as if the mountain didn’t belong to an immortal. This certainly surprised her once more.

As she climbed, she noticed all the wonderful scenery and palaces. Stars, immortal energy, and various grand dao began floating around them.

Each blade of grass was also immensely precious, even a weed growing between cracks. The water in the pond of the pavilions was considered priceless dew in the outside world.

Numerous seals blocked their path but Li Qiye walked through them without any resistance.

“Is the immortal alright?” She could tell he was not home.

“It didn’t happen here. He was the one who made the move.” Li Qiye smiled.

Thunder Emperor thought that although the figure appeared above the mountain, it was just a visual phenomenon.

“Where did it happen?” She asked after seeing this place being fully intact.

“Over there.” Li Qiye brought her behind the mountain and gazed at the horizon.

She was met by a golden radiance and became stunned on the spot.

“This is our core, the illumination of the dao heart.” She murmured.

“Yes, Illumination.” He smiled.

“So that’s where it is.” She said.
