In This Rebirth, The Male Lead Is Mine [BL]

Rise watched this, taking this all in.

Kamille lifted his gaze and darkly looked at Epsilon, whose expression was filled with shock.

”I want to kill you, but you have so many uncertainties in you. I’ll spare you this time. However...” Kamille narrowed his eyes, and the mana around him surged according to his mood. ”There’s no next time.”

Epsilon was the author’s card; no one knew what disaster was wrapped within him. It was better to be cautious. Kamille expected to feel something, as Rise was so anxious about this. And yet... He only felt indescribable rage.

If he were a second too late... Kamille’s jaw clenched, and his arm around Rise tightened even further. The wind had kept up and surrounded the whole training ground to the point that the spectators were also barred from entry.

”Calm down, Niftan.”

”How can I calm down? That bastard... tried to kill my Rise!” Niftan was about to explode with rage. In fact, if Kamille did not arrive, Niftan would use any means to save Rise there.

The others rubbed their heads. Actually, while Epsilon was also to blame, was it Rise that was the starting point of this? Everyone could see how he was the first to become aggressive.

However, there was no point arguing with Niftan either. They would only lose hair and patience. In Niftan’s eyes, Rise was more important, and even if he was in the wrong, he would always support him.

Such bad parenting, really. No wonder Rise turned out just like that. Of course, no one would say this in Niftan’s face. They could only look at the situation and persuade Niftan to calm down.

”Even if you want to get inside... You can’t.”

”Right. Right. Kamille’s here.”

Wind ability was not particularly rare, but such a massive effect, only one could do it.

”He already saved Rise and stopped the fight for sure.”

Although they did not know why Kamilel intervened, he was probably nearby and felt the disturbance inside. Unfortunately, they could not see what was going on inside.

If they were watching, then they would surely be confused. Just how suddenly Rise and Kamille were kissing in front of Epsilon, who was still suspended in the air surrounded by wind blades, glaring at them with resentment in his eyes.

Before Epsilon answered Kamille’s threat earlier, Rise turned around and suddenly claimed Kamille’s lips, passionately. Kamille was stunned at first, but soon responded.

He knew that this was Rise’s way of relieving his anxiety.

In a way, he was right. Rise wanted to pour out his emotions and the relief he felt after seeing Kamille unaffected. But another thing was, he wanted to flaunt this to Epsilon.

Hah. Who said he belongs to you? Look, who was he kissing right in front of you? Suck that bitch.

As they parted their lips, only then could they give Epsilon any attention again. Rise even forgot his existence and got lost in the kiss.

”You... can’t do this to me.” Epsilon’s voice rang out, staring at Kamille. ”You’re supposed to be mine.”

Rise flinched slightly but did not say anything. He let Kamille deal with him, giving a bigger blow that way.

Sure enough, Kamille shook his head; a faint disgust appeared on his face. His aversion to humans was fully displayed. Not even the protagonist was immune to it.

Kamille did not respond to him and turned to Rise.

”What should we do now?” he whispered gently.

Rise took a deep breath and gave a small smile.

”For now, my objective has been achieved, so... next time again.”

Wanting to kill Epsilon would be wishful thinking; he knew that much.

”Alright,” Kamille said, nodding and withdrawing his ability, and Epsilon fell and slammed to the floor. His earlier poise was long gone. His clothes and hair were disheveled.

Still, he did not approach them and continued sitting on the floor.

”You can’t escape, Kamille. You and I... are destined to be together. You know it too, right, Rise?”

Kamille’s jaw tightened as he was about to do something again. Rise held his arm as he turned to Epsilon. There was now a vicious smile on his lips.

”Watch your back. Who knows, maybe I can grind your protagonist’s halo to zero.”

There were a lot of things he could do... Worry about yourself first, Epsilon.

He turned, and the two left the training ground.

Once they were in the elevator, Rise embraced Kamille. The other expected it too and responded with a tighter hug.

”I was scared,” Rise admitted, and closed his eyes, inhaling the other’s natural scent.

This was not a dream. Kamille’s on his side... He did not defect to the protagonist like he was destined to.

”Me too,” Kamille whispered. ”Not my reaction to him. But to your reckless actions. Rise, don’t do that again. If you want to go wild, only do it with me by your side.”

Only then, they could die together.

Rise let out a chuckle, and it became louder as he felt Kamille pinching his sides. He sucked in a breath, and his laughter echoed inside the elevator.

”His face... Ah, I want to tear it to pieces. Really.”

Kamille only listened to him but felt relieved that Rise returned to his usual self.

As they were hugging, the elevator opened. A loud exclamation resounded, causing the two to pause. Rise turned towards the outside and met familiar green pupils.

Mitchel.

He blinked. Oh, it had been a while since he last saw him.

His eyes held shock and confusion as he looked at Rise, then Kamille. Only then did Rise realize... He was still hugging Kamille!

Kamille did not withdraw his arm around Rise, and so he did the same. When he looked up, Kamille was looking at Mitchell with a serious expression.

Huh? Were the two already enemies by this point in time?

”Rise, how...” Mitchel’s voice shook, and he could not even finish his words, shocked by the sight.

Was it too shocking? Rise did not even mind if they were seen together. As long as it was still controlled, it should be fine. After all, Mitchel was... In a sense, a friend too.
