Pampering Discarded Heroines Triggers My 10,000x Rebate System

Evren stepped out into the cool mountain air, brushing soot from his dark coat. Standing at the double doors of the grand foyer was Head Butler Arthur.

When Arthur saw Evren walk up the marble steps, his eyes immediately caught the singed fabric of Evren’s left sleeve and the faint scent of volcanic sulfur.

”Chairman Evren,” Arthur said, bowing politely. ”You have returned. Are you injured, sir?”

”Just a torn sleeve, Arthur,” Evren smiled faintly. ”Is Lady Amber awake?”

”She has been awake since four o’clock, sir. She refused to sleep until she knew you were back safely.”

”I’ll go to her immediately,” Evren nodded. ”First, I need to make an emergency procurement.”

Evren focused his thoughts, pulling up the glowing recipe screen of his System interface.

The holographic recipe for the Stage 3 Celestial Rebirth Pill hovered in his private vision:

[STAGE 3 CELESTIAL REBIRTH PILL — SYNTHESIS REQUIREMENTS]

PRIMARY CATALYST: 1x Solar Flame-Heart Essence (ACQUIRED)

SECONDARY STABILIZERS: Sovereign-grade celestial spirit solvents, alchemical bonding herbs, and gold-leaf mana stabilizers.

Reading the checklist directly from his System interface, Evren pulled out his phone and tapped into his encrypted direct line with Mikay.

The line connected on the first ring.

”Chairman Evren!” Mikay answered instantly. ”The Guild Bureau network just broadcasted an emergency alert; the Solar Flare Caverns collapsed and registered as cleared! You did it!”

”Yeah,” Evren confirmed calmly. ”Mikay, I need you to place an urgent order with the Central Apothecary Guild. I need their highest-grade celestial spirit solvents, alchemical bonding herbs, and gold-leaf mana stabilizers. Spare no expense. Have their emergency armored courier deliver the sealed reagents directly to Victoria Hill within fifteen minutes.”

”I will authorize the purchase through our VIP portal right now, Chairman,” Mikay replied.

Evren pulled the phone away from his ear, confirming the biometric prompt on his screen.

BEEP.

[APEX NATIONAL BANK: $5,000,000.00 USD TRANSFERRED TO CENTRAL APOTHECARY GUILD]

[MEMO: SOVEREIGN GRADE MEDICINAL REAGENTS & EXPEDITED COURIER]

The moment the five-million-dollar transaction cleared, the golden System interface flared brightly in Evren’s vision:

[DING! REBATE SYSTEM TRIGGERED!]

[TARGET: AMBER STERLING (HEROINE 1 — HEALTH & REHABILITATION INVESTMENT)]

[EXPENDITURE VERIFIED: $5,000,000.00 USD]

[CURRENT MULTIPLIER: 10x (BASELINE PENALTY TIER)]

[CALCULATING REBATE REWARD: $5,000,000.00 × 10 = +$50,000,000.00 USD!]

[TRANSFER STATUS: $50,000,000.00 USD DEPOSITED TO APEX SOVEREIGN ACCOUNT]

[NEW LIQUID BALANCE: $224,047,542.50 USD]

A small smile touched Evren’s lips as he slipped the phone back into his coat pocket.

Even with the baseline 10x penalty tier, investing in Amber’s health had just netted another fifty million dollars in liquid cash, pushing his personal fortune well past $224,000,000.00.

—

Fifteen minutes later, an armored courier van from the Central Apothecary Guild arrived at the estate gates, delivering three vacuum-sealed silver containers of pure, sovereign-grade alchemical reagents to the study.

Evren locked the study door and cleared the mahogany desk.

With a flick of his Spatial Storage Ring, the Solar Flame-Heart materialized on the table.

The glowing red flower hovered above the desk, filling the room with a warm, sun-like light.

Next to it, Evren opened the silver containers, pouring the pure spirit solvents and sovereign bonding herbs into a wide crystal dish.

Evren focused his thoughts and commanded the System: ’Synthesize: Stage 3 Celestial Rebirth Pill.’

HUMMM!

A brilliant, dual-colored vortex of golden system light engulfed the desk.

The Solar Flame-Heart dissolved into droplets of golden-fire liquid, while the apothecary catalysts formed a swirling matrix around it. The intense heat of the solar essence was perfectly tempered by the soothing alchemical stabilizers, balancing the elements into perfect harmony.

Thirty seconds later, the light condensed into a single point.

Resting in the center of the crystal dish was a magnificent, pearl-sized medicine: the Stage 3 Celestial Rebirth Pill.

The pill swirled with golden fire and blue frost, giving off a sweet, herbal scent that instantly filled the room with life.

Evren picked up the warm pill, placing it into a presentation box.

”It’s ready,” Evren murmured softly.

Evren walked upstairs and gently opened the double doors of the Master Suite.

Inside the quiet, spacious room, Amber was sitting in her wheelchair by the panoramic glass doors overlooking the misty gardens.

She wore a soft, white-colored silk robe, with a blanket draped over her lap. Her hands were clasped tightly together, her eyes staring anxiously at the driveway below.

When she heard the soft click of the door and footsteps behind her, Amber turned her head quickly. The moment her eyes landed on Evren standing in the doorway, all the tension in her delicate frame vanished.

”Evren!” Amber whispered with pure relief.

Evren walked over, setting the velvet box on the side table. He knelt down right in front of her wheelchair, taking her cold, trembling hands into his warm palms.

”I’m back, Amber,” Evren said gently.

Amber’s eyes scanned his face, his clothes, and the singed sleeve on his arm. She reached up with trembling fingers, gently touching his cheek as tears welled in her eyes.

”You’re covered in soot,” Amber whispered, her voice catching in her throat. ”Was the rift... was it terrifying?”

”A few overgrown rocks tried to cause trouble,” Evren smiled warmly, kissing the palm of her hand. ”Nothing that could stop me from coming home to you.”

Evren picked up the small velvet box and opened the lid, revealing the glowing, dual-element pill.

”The Stage 3 Celestial Rebirth Pill,” Evren said softly. ”The final cure. Let’s go to the hot springs.”

Amber looked at the glowing pill with wide, trembling eyes. Her heart pounded against her ribs so loudly she could hear it in her ears.

”F-Finally...?” Amber breathed, looking up into his eyes.

”Finally,” Evren nodded firmly.

Evren slid his arms gently beneath her shoulders and knees, lifting her effortlessly from the wheelchair into his arms.

Amber wrapped her arms securely around his neck, resting her head against his shoulder as he carried her down the private stone corridor toward the secluded rear pavilion.

The private natural mana hot spring was surrounded by bamboo screens, blooming white lilies, and smooth black river stones.

Warm, mineral-rich thermal water bubbled gently from the mountain spring, sending soft clouds of soothing steam into the cool dawn air.

Evren carefully stepped down the shallow marble steps into the chest-deep water, holding Amber close.

The warm thermal water enveloped their bodies, soothing the fatigue in Evren’s muscles and wrapping Amber’s legs in gentle buoyancy.

Evren supported Amber with one arm around her waist, using his other hand to hold the glowing pill to her lips.

”Take it, Amber,” Evren said softly. ”Trust me.”

Amber looked into Evren’s deep, confident eyes. Without a second of hesitation, she parted her soft lips and swallowed the pill.

The moment the medicine dissolved on her tongue, an overwhelming wave of pure celestial energy exploded through Amber’s chest!

A brilliant, radiant cocoon of golden sunfire and soothing blue frost erupted from her body, lighting up the entire hot spring in a dazzling glow!

Amber gasped, her head tilting back as powerful waves of warmth raced down her spine. The medicine didn’t just soothe her nerves; it completely rebuilt them.

Every damaged cell, every calcified nerve pathway, and every dormant mana channel in her lower back and legs began to glow with blinding light.

A loud sound echoed from within Amber’s lumbar spine.

The necrotic injury that had paralyzed her for six months finally healed completely in a flash of golden light that rushed down through her hips, thighs, knees, and ankles, flooding all the way to the tips of her toes.

Amber’s eyes flew open, glowing with a faint, beautiful azure light as she took a deep, shuddering breath.

Evren slowly released his grip on her waist, stepping back onto the second marble step of the pool.

He held his hands open in front of him, looking directly into her eyes with an encouraging smile. ”Try, Amber,” Evren said softly. ”Stand up.”

Amber looked down at the clear water.

For six months, her legs had felt like heavy, lifeless blocks of wood. Now? Now, they felt alive and light.

Amber pressed her bare feet firmly against the smooth stone floor of the thermal pool, engaging her quadriceps and straightening her knees.

Slowly... steadily... Amber pushed herself upward and stood... on her own two feet, without any support.

”I’m... I’m standing...” Amber whispered in disbelief, staring down at the water rippling around her thighs.

”Now walk to me, Amber,” Evren smiled. ”Take a step.”

Amber lifted her right foot out of the water, placing it firmly on the first marble step.

Step one.

She brought her left foot up, planting it securely on the second step.

Step two.

She climbed the final step, stepping out of the thermal pool completely.

Step three. Step four. Step five.

Amber stood on the dry, heated marble terrace in her wet silk robe, looking down at her bare feet resting on the marble tiles. Her chest heaved with rapid, shallow breaths as the reality of the miracle washed over her soul.

Six months of numbness. Six months of being tossed to the side. Six months of being told she was a useless cripple.

All of it was gone.

Tears of pure joy flooded down Amber’s radiant cheeks. ”Evren...!” Amber cried out, taking two running steps forward and leaped straight into Evren’s arms.

Evren caught her securely against his chest, wrapping his arms around her waist as Amber wrapped her legs tightly around his hips.

Amber buried her face in his neck, clinging to him with every ounce of strength in her body, sobbing in pure, unrestrained happiness.

”I can walk! Evren, I can walk again!” Amber wept against his skin, her tears wetting his collar. ”You gave me my life back! You really saved me...!”

Evren held her tightly against his heart, running his hand soothingly through her wet, dark hair.

”I promised you, Amber,” Evren murmured softly into her ear. ”You will never have to sit in that chair again.”

Amber pulled back slightly, looking into Evren’s eyes with a gaze filled with admiration and devotion.

Without warning, she leaned forward and pressed her soft, trembling lips deeply against his.

Evren’s eyes widened in surprise.

His heart leaped in his chest, but the shock lasted only a fraction of a second before his gaze softened. He wrapped his arms more securely around her waist, kissing her back with tender, deep warmth.

The kiss was sweet, passionate, and filled with relief, gratitude, and trust. When they finally pulled apart, Amber’s chest rose and fell with quick, shallow breaths.

Suddenly realizing what she had just done, a rosy blush rose to Amber’s cheeks, all the way to the tips of her ears. She looked down shyly, her fingers nervously clutching the fabric of his shirt.

”I... I’m so sorry, Evren,” Amber stammered softly with an adorable fluster. ”I didn’t mean to be so forward... I was just so overwhelmed and happy, I...”

Evren chuckled softly, his heart melting at her flustered expression. He reached up, his warm fingers gently cupping her blushing cheek and tilting her chin upward so her eyes met his.

”Don’t apologize, Amber,” Evren murmured with a gentle, reassuring smile. ”Never apologize for that.”

At that exact moment, a brilliant golden chime echoed in Evren’s mind:

[DING! HEROINE TRUST & DEVOTION MILESTONE REACHED!]

[TARGET: AMBER STERLING — DEVOTION LEVEL HAS REACHED: 50% (ROMANTIC AFFECTION & DEEP TRUST)!]

[MILESTONE REWARD 2/3 UNLOCKED: S-RANK DIVINE ARMAMENT BLUEPRINT — FROST-VALKYRIE TWIN BLADES!]

[MULTIPLIER RESTORATION: 2/3 MILESTONES COMPLETED (MILESTONE 2: INDEPENDENT WALKING RESTORED)!]

A quiet metallic click came from the terrace entrance.

Standing by the glass doors, holding a silver tray with a gold-embossed envelope, was Head Butler Arthur.

Arthur stared at the scene before him. His eyes widened until they nearly popped out of his sockets in shock.

”L-Lady... Lady Amber...?” Arthur stammered. ”Y-You are... standing?! You are walking on your own feet?!”

Amber looked over Evren’s shoulder, laughing through her tears as she slid her feet gently back onto the heated marble floor, holding Evren’s hand with a radiant smile.

”I can walk, Arthur!” Amber beamed, wiping her joyful tears. ”Evren healed me completely!”

Arthur stumbled forward two steps, looking down at Amber’s standing posture in awe.

Tears welled in the old butler’s eyes. He bent his back, bowing all the way down to a ninety-degree angle with profound reverence.

”Good heavens...” Arthur choked, wiping a tear from his wrinkled eye with a trembling handkerchief. ”In my forty years of service, I have never witnessed such a miracle. Chairman Evren... you are truly a master beyond words.”

”Thank you, Arthur,” Evren smiled, keeping his arm securely around Amber’s waist. ”What did you bring?”

Arthur quickly composed himself, holding out the silver tray with trembling, respectful hands.

”An official courier from the Metropolis Guild Association and the Tycoon Chamber of Commerce just delivered this to our gates, sir,” Arthur explained. ”It is the formal VIP invitation to the Annual Metropolis Tycoon & Guildmaster Gala tomorrow night at the Grand Apex Hotel.”

Arthur looked at Evren with pride.

”The entire upper echelon of the metropolis will be attending, including Prescott Guild, Sterling Guild, and the City Council. As the Chairman of Apex Guild and the owner of Victoria Hill, you and Miss Amber are the guests of honor.”

Evren took the heavy, gold-embossed envelope from the tray.

He looked down at Amber.

Her eyes sparkled with a radiant dignity she hadn’t possessed in half a year. The frail, discarded cripple was gone forever.

Standing beside Evren was the true, proud Empress of Apex.

Amber looked at the gold invitation in Evren’s hand, a stunning, confident smile blooming on her lips.

”Prescott... and my uncle Garrett...” Amber said softly, her voice steady and resolute. ”They threw me out thinking I would die in the gutter.”

She looked up into Evren’s eyes, squeezing his hand tightly. ”Tomorrow night, Evren... I’m walking into that grand ballroom on my own two feet.”
