I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1901: 24.162 Sixth Violet Star - Space Storage Device

Nangong Rui stares at the Ice essence the God of Destruction gave to his Elemental King. After hearing the explanation from his classmate, Xue Laira, he now stares at the simple looking ice his elemental is currently hugging. There is a huge urge in him that wanted to hide such treasure. It would make his elemental king cry though.

As if reading his thoughts, Xue Laira said, ”Stop. You cannot hide the ice essence even if space storage is not possible. It can only be exposed outside unless you want to turn into a human ice cube. Once the ice essence is enclosed into something, the whole interior of that place will be frosted beyond your control.”

”The only way to keep safe is simple. One, you let your elemental king eat it once she digests what she had eaten just now. Second, use the Young Prince’s name and tell those who wanted to take it away that it came from him. That way they will be afraid and don’t dare to steal that from you. However, to do that you must ask his highness’s permission.”

Everyone seems to agree with the words of their classmate, Xue Laira. Even though those in the same generation as Young Prince Hei Anjing didn’t know the real extent of his capabilities, the adults are different. They at least know that the young princes of the Beastmen Race are born half-god. They are monsters just by considering their students. Who else would have beaten up the three kings of the elven, dwarven and human races during the academy’s entrance exam.

Haerin suggested, ”Just ask Jing-gege, if it’s something as simple as borrowing his name to prevent that ice essence being stolen, he won’t mind much.”

”Though if you use his name for something else, Ye-ge will come for you so keep this as a warning. Though those two look carefree, they are not the type you would want to scheme against. Hei-ge will play you to death,” said Long Juedi.

There are lots of visitors to the ancient forest from the outside and they all thought that it’s easier for them to control the young beastmen like Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie. As for Long Juedi and Haerin, no adults with scheming minds were allowed to come near them. The former elf king would always be with them especially if they are in the ancient forest. That is why those cunning outsiders would try to approach Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie. Long Juedi had watched those outsiders regret even approaching them.

One of them was even sent to the sleeping Beast Emperors living in the depths of the Ancient Forest. It was said that these beasts were pets of the two princes of the beastmen race. Without any evidence the outsiders had no way to blame the children. Plus, their hidden plots were all dug out by the God of Destruction leading them to being banned from entering the territory of the beastmen for offending the race.

Nangong Rui said, ”Of course! I will not do that!”

”You won’t, alright. We believe. How about your parents? Your relatives? Clan?” Cao Wanji asked.

Cao Wanji, who is also a part of the noble clan knew the extent of what kind of arrogance these people connected to the so-called noble factions. They all see themselves above everyone. When in reality only the military would ignore the danger to protect the masses. That’s why he, despite being a noble, hates himself for being one.

Nangong Rui said, ”My parents will never do it. Moreover, my family had long separated from the main family. This is especially since recently they have learned that my mother had an ancestral elven bloodline. To protect my mother and I, my father decided to separate our family from the clan. Except for a few lands, and properties that father had listed on mine and mother’s name, all other properties under father’s name were returned.”

”I heard of a family separating from the Nangong clan. So that was your family. Thankfully, your parents had agreed to separate or your clan would be attacked by the Elven Race. That family never wanted their blood to be mixed with other races, especially the humans of your noble faction,” said Long Juedi.

Haerin said, ”But since your family is no longer connected to the noble clan, it should be alright even if the elven race learned about it. You are protected by the Alliance Laws.”

Alliance Laws, this is a law approved by the four kings of the four races. Most of these rules protect those with mixed blood. Like how Nangong Rui’s family situation is. The only way for them to not be attacked by the elven race for mixing blood they must not have any connections to the noble clans or military authorities. Only then will the alliance protect them.

Haerin clapped her hand and said, ”Alright! Stop talking! Let’s eat first!”

With a wave of her hand a picnic blanket was laid on the group and a few baskets of food were placed. There are sandwiches, mini cakes, crepes and even soup. Except for Long Juedi, the rest of the F-Class were surprised. After all, it’s very rare for one to possess a storage device and it’s expensive as well that even in a certain race, only the leader or king would most likely possess one.

”A Space Storage Device?!”

Xue Laira asked, ”Haerin, you have one?!”

”Hm? Yes, it’s this bracelet. It’s a gift from Jing-gege from my last birthday. He said that I will need it when I go to the academy. It will be more convenient that way. It’s not that large. Just the size of a small room,” said Haerin.

Everyone sat on the picnic mat and started eating. Clearly, the meals in the baskets are made for everyone to share in this class. Well, there are only six of them anyway. They’ve started eating together as they continue their conversation.

”As big as a small room?! Aren’t storage devices only supposed to be enough to keep three to five things in it?” Nan Jiang said in surprise as he showed them his ring. ”Mine can only keep five things in it.”

”You also have one?! Nan Jiang, are you unexpectedly a rich person?” Xue Laira asked.

Cao Wanji said, ”The Nan Clan isn’t. His father married someone from the Jin Clan.”

Then he noticed the familiar looking bracelet on Long Juedi’s wrist even though it’s completely the opposite color of Haerin’s white bracelet, it looks completely the same in design. It looked like a couple’s bracelet.

”Hey! That one on the Class Leader’s wrist, is it the same as Classmate Haerin?” Cao Wanji asked.

Long Juedi didn’t hide it and nodded his head. He said, ”This is a gift from Rin’er after begging her brothers to get the same bracelet.”

Everyone was stunned, in the F-Class three of them possessed a rare space storage device.

Nangong Rui asked, ”Is the Beastmen Race that wealthy? Don’t they wear simple looking clothes and live a down to earth life?”

”They do. But the materials of those clothing and the materials they use in their everyday life can be considered treasures for the other races,” said Long Juedi. ”They use world tree branches as weapons, world tree leaves were weaved with the clothing to lift nature spells in it for defense and buff effects. There is more but those are secrets of the ancient forest. I can’t say anything more than this.”

”I thought I was seeing things. Those clothing worn by the young prince Hei and eldest prince Ye were made from silk. Not ordinary silk, but made from a beast king called Moonlight Butterfly’s silkworm’s silk. Only royalties of other races can wear them,” Xue Laira said as she inspected the bracelet on Haerin’s wrist and said, ”This bracelet is also made from it, however, the runes are engraved on it even though I cannot understand them. Do you know who made this bracelet?”

”It’s Jing-gege. In the tribe, only he is capable of creating space storage devices like this one,” said Haerin.

Xue Laira, who liked the space bracelet so much said, ”Is it possible to buy one if I beg the Young Prince Hei?”

”Possible. But the payment will never be money. If you are ready to pay he would ask you to give, then you can buy one from him. Uncle Mu bought one from him before and had to give me a free pass for the borders. The kind of free pass that cannot be blocked even by the Marshal or a general,” Long Juedi said.

Nan Jiang asked, ”But he gave Haerin one as a gift?”

”Rin’er is his only younger sister. They are family. He likes to dote on her the most. Why would Hei-ge ask her to pay?” Long Juedi retorted.

Xue Laira asked, ”I wonder what I have to pay to get one space storage device.”

All of the sudden a voice was heard not far from them and even butting in their conversation to answer Xue Laira’s words.

”For you just giving me permission to use your spirit realm door to enter the spirit world is enough,” the voice said.

When everyone turned around, they didn’t notice Hei Anjing and Ye Xiajie returning and were now having some coffee at some unknown table for two that appeared in the hall. No one even noticed when these two appeared. In the eyes of the students in F-Class, this pair just appeared in thin air.

The God of Destruction asked, ”How about it? Are you going to lend me the access to your door? If you agree I can make you a space storage device with the same size as Rin’er.”
