I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1895: 24.156 Sixth Violet Star - Inexperience

The sparring continued with Long Juedi winning instantly against Nan Jiang. The next sparring pair are Nangong Rui vs. Xue Laira. The two weren’t like the brutes from the first round and they properly greeted one another before they started their sparring match.

Xue Laira asked, ”Nangong Classmate, you just recently awakened your elemental king and it would be hard to control its summoning and would take time. You can summon her first before we fight.”

”Thank you. I was truly having a hard time getting her summoned,” said Nangong Rui as he closed his eyes and concentrated on opening the spirit gate in his mind.

Though his elemental king was born from his heart soul, it was still young and he hasn’t bonded with it for too long. That’s why the young elemental king doesn’t listen much to Nangong Rui. Well there is also the fact that the Nangong Household upon learning that their youngest son had awakened Spirit Taming that they spoiled the young elemental king to heaven. There is also a problem that the master, Nangong Rui, himself is unable to scold the little one making her become a spoiled little princess in just a day.

It took at least three minutes for the elemental king of Nangong Rui to come out after she was called from the spirit world using the spirit gate Nangong made through his qi. As soon as the adorable little one came out pouting and started hitting her master on his forehead.

Nangong Rui said, ”Sorry, for disturbing your nap. Can you help my brother fight that big sister over there?”

This scene itself looks adorable for the others who are watching. But for Xue Laira, who knew that young elementals are stubborn unless scolded, felt this scene is a bit unacceptable. She frowned seeing that the young elemental king was overlording over her master, Nangong Rui, when they are supposed to be either partners or master and servant.

Xue Laira said, ”Nangong Classmate, You cannot allow your elemental to look down on you. Once they no longer see you as equal, they will break the contract and leave you. You should choose to either treat them as partners or servants. Like how the relationship between a beast tamer and a beast has. If you continue like this. That little one of yours will just disappear one day.”

Stunned by this fact, Nangong Rui looked at Xue Laira and his elemental king. ”Eh? Really? What should I do then?”

”I will explain it to you later. For now, let’s spar,” said Xue Laira who instantly summoned an elemental lord of flames. ”Infrit, use inferno!”

The elementals had rankings. From weakest to strongest: Low-grade, mid-grade, high-grade, elemental warrior, elemental lord, elemental king and elemental emperor. There is also the Elemental God that rules over the spirit world and watches over all the fae in this world. It was said the elemental god is capable of using all elements and the humans had only seen him once before. However, it was said that none from the elven race is capable of summoning the Elemental God.

Nangong Rui was confused as this is the first time he heard what inferno is.

”What?”

”Dodge! Inferno is a high-grade flame spell!” Haerin shouted.

Nangong Rui failed to react but the Elemental King of water and ice made a move on its own and conjured a water and ice dragon which encircled the pillar of fire made by the Inferno spell. The difference of strength between an Elemental Lord and an Elemental King is big. However, to compare an inexperienced young Elemental King to a veteran Elemental Lord. The latter can easily overpower the former. Young elementals cannot fully handle their powers without the help of their master’s guidance.

”Eh? What should I do?” Nangong Rui said as his hair was being pulled by his elemental king trying to make him dodge. Unfortunately, with its size it is almost impossible to move an adult human.

As a newbie spirit tamer, Nangong Rui did not have full control over his elemental king and he had no experience with connecting with the little one as well. Xue Laira had overpowered him so easily. Just when he thought he would be burned alive. His elemental king used everything in her to trap them into a water ball to escape the burning effects of Inferno. Nangong Rui and his little elemental had fallen out of the stage in panic.

The World Eater spoke, ”Second round ends. Winner, Xue Laira. Nangong Brat, go and join Nan Jiang in punishment. What you need to do is to scold your elemental until it cries.”

”What? Is there any other punishment?” Nangong Rui asked as he didn’t want to scold the little one born from him.

The World Eater said, ”Do you want me to ask Jing’er to seal back your elemental back to the spirit realm then?”

”Is that possible?” Nangong Rui asked in disbelief.

Xue Laira said, ”It’s possible. Senior Hei only needs to meet the Elemental God and ask for it. As for him going to the spirit realm, it’s not impossible for him. He is the most beloved child of ice elementals which is said to be the hardest to please. What made it confusing is that he wasn’t even born with an elven bloodline but the ice elementals all love him. Your little one likes him as well. If you don’t control your elemental king while it’s still young... you will be left behind. You can love them as if they are your family. However, it is unknown whether they will love you the same way.”

When Xue Laira said these words, Nangong Rui and the others felt that Xue Laira not only hated her bloodline but the spirit race itself. However, no one dares to ask except the World Eater who hated using his brain but wanted to know anything. Just as he was about to open his mouth, someone pinched him on his back. When he turned around he saw his son, the God of Destruction, Hei Anjing.

Hei Anjing said, ”Old man, don’t poke someone else’s wound. You’ll get karma from it.”

The God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness appeared again. They appeared in thin air and no one else noticed them appeared behind the Ancient God, Lord An Shizhe.

The World Eater asked, ”You guys are here again. Don’t you have your own classes?”

”Dad is more worried about you overdoing it and killing your students,” said Ye Xiajie.

The World Eater was pissed, ”You damn brat! Just saying everything.”

Flaps~

The sound of paper flapping was heard beside them and Hei Anjing reading through the papers.

”Stamina Building Training. Throw the students in the inner region of the Barren Land and let them run away from the enraged beasts and survive by reaching the borders of the alliance city.”

”Qi Absorption Training. Throw the students in the middle of the Chaos Flower Garden and save them before they explode from qi exposure.”

”Old man, this training plan was something not even adult beast and spirit tamers can do, much less children that young. Once they fell in the barren land and failed to escape, the villain ruling there will definitely kill them. Also, chaos energy will make them insane, so bringing them to the garden is a no-no,” said the God of Destruction.

Sigh~

”Master, can’t you start by making them a few rounds in this training hall’s tracks? That won’t kill your students at least,” suggest the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness. Then he grumbles, ”And you say I am saying things~”

The World Eater asked his son, ”Will they truly die if they went to the garden even with my blessing?”

”Old man, these are mortals. Pure energy is deadly to them, much less chaos energy,” said Hei Anjing.

Ancient God Lord An Shizhe said, ”Alright, I will revise my lesson plan. You help me check what is wrong.”

The three of them huddled in the corner and were forgotten by the students of F-Class. Xue Laira went down from the stage leaving it for the next pair which is Hearin and Cao Wanji. The latter, Student Cao Wanji, had been sleeping after they stopped walking towards the training hall and it was the Class Leader who pulled him to the stage. There is even an earplug in his ears.

Haerin said, ”Cao Wanji, can we start sparring?”

This question only received silence as response.

”Student Cao? Hello~ can you hear me? Cao Wanji!” Haerin even resorted to screaming but Cao Wanji who was hugging a pillow with an eyepatch covering his eyes had no reaction at all.

The students whispered to one another,

”Is he sleeping again?”

”But his eyes are open?”

”I don’t think that’s eyes, but an eyepatch.”

In the end, Long Juedi had to go on stage and check on student Cao Wanji. Upon checking, they realized that those pair of open eyes is indeed just a realistic eyepatch and the person himself is asleep. Long Juedi was about to wake up Cao Wanji when he noticed something near the young man’s ears and he instinctively pulled. The sound of pop was heard.

Long Juedi and Haerin looked at the item in Long Juedi’s hand and they both spoke, ”An Earplug?”
