I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1589 21.46 Fifth Violet Star - Satan and Lucifer

Satan reattached his broken neck so simply as if attaching a Gundamʼs head to its body. Even the sounds of something clicking and matching the bones together can be heard by everyone in the area.

Unexpectedly, Captain Lou Ye, who was supposed to be fighting with Archangel Jophiel, descends on the ground and greets his lord on one knee. This is in front of everyone with no hesitation in his actions.

The Chief Warden said, ”Greetings, My Lord!”

”These humans are in the way,” commented the God of Void as he slowly unsheathed the black katana in his hands.

”This subordinate understands,” responded the Chief Warden.

Right now, he is no longer the police captain these people know. He is an unknown individual who is neither human nor angel nor demon.

Upon receiving his next task, the Chief Warden stood up and approached the mortals. He also asked for the help of the two systems to protect these weak races.

The Chief Warden said, ”Yue, help me gather all humans in one place. No need to worry about the angels and demons. Yang, erected a barrier to protect them.”

The small moon and small sun that were so visible to the eyes of these aborigines had transformed into humans before their eyes. In their perspective, two young men who some of them had met in Bar Purgatory recognize the two systems.

At that time, they only had an inkling that maybe they werenʼt humans like the bar owner. But now the fact was thrown at their faces as the two systems appeared in thin air.

Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang accepted the Chief Wardenʼs commands and immediately made their move as soon as they turned to their humanoid form. Zhi Yue started teleporting here and there, all over the city, and grabbed the human who swayed out of the pack.

Zhi Yang, on the other hand, flew as high as he could and created two films of barriers. One that separates this city from the land beyond it and another barrier to protect the humans Zhi Yue had gathered in one area.

While they are working, the battle between the angels and the demons continues. Even though the demons flutter the moment the God of Void appears in Luciferʼs vessel, their instinct to kill the angel becomes their priority.

The Chief Warden kept an eye on Archangel Jophiel as he stood in front of Doctor Hei Yu. Archangel Jophiel, after abruptly halting his find against the Chief Warden, flew down and stood beside Satan.

Archangel Jophiel was observing the God of Void and felt the darkness within him was being suppressed. As a Soul Fragment of Soul who adapted to the power of the void after Snow died, he shouldnʼt be suppressed by the God of Void regardless that he is the owner of the abyss.

”Whatʼs wrong? Why did you stop fighting?” asked Satan to Archangel Jophiel, who descended to his side. Your journey continues at My Virtual Library Empire

Archangel Jophiel whispered back, ”The darkness in me is being suppressed. He is gaining full control over the void. If this continues, you and the others like you will be restrained by him.”

”He chose restriction over elimination? Thatʼs unexpected. No, it might change in the end if he is taking this in a ruthless way,” Satan said.

Bewildered. Archangel Jophiel asked, ”What does that mean?”

”It means he wanted to capture me alive and in the most painful way possible. Such a bastard!” Satan cursed.

Archangel Jophiel didnʼt give a response to Satanʼs complaint and had the following thoughts instead:

ʼYouʼre coveting his wife so openly. It would be more shocking that he isnʼt thinking of tormenting you.ʼ

The archangels watch the scene between the Satan-Archangel Jophiel pair and the newly arrived, supposed to be Lucifer but not. Bar owner of purgatory.

Archangel Uriel mumbles, ”With these two clashing like this, I hope this city will be the only thing affected by their fight.

”Those two are beyond us. Are we not going to report to Michael about this?” asked Archangel Zadkiel.

Archangel Uriel asked Archangel Raphael beside him, ”Reporting it was not a problem. Itʼs a question of whether he will be interested or not.”

The two archangels couldnʼt deny Archangel Raphaelʼs words. Just the changes that happened that night when Archangel Michael revealed his true face were enough for everyone to feel that he didnʼt have any attachments to the heavens.

He can even openly say that he killed their father, the creator, and even watch coldly as the angels die before his eyes, eyes devoid of emotions. He also returned to the heavens without giving his brothers any explanation. He also just watched Luciferʼs corpse without any reaction on his face.

He is like a cold-blooded God with no heart.

Archangel Uriel signed and said, ”Hold it back for a bit. Also, donʼt let Leviathan escape. He is the cause of this chaos.”

”Leave him to me,” said Archangel Zadkiel as he flew down discreetly, trying to catch the devil of envy off guard.

Meanwhile, the God of Void just gave Archangel Jophiel an indifferent glance. Even though this man looks similar to his wifeʼs appearance, everything else is different, from his scent, the color of his soul, his personality, everything.

It was only now that he believed that these so-called soul fragments of Snow were not truly a part of his wife, Hei Anjingʼs soul. In this world, the only one that gave me the familiar scent was the doctor.

Satan observed the man; he acted as his older brother all his life. His life was a lie the moment he was born and learned about his power. It can be said that he had manipulated the life of the God of Void after he was reborn as Ye Xiajie. One sovereign God who lost his past life memory after reincarnation.

With the memories of the World Water, Gui Xiajun had already known that the God of Destruction was His Xue Hunluan, the Ancient God of Chaosʼs incarnation. He made plans to meet him and become a part of his life.

He had chosen Ye Xiajie to be his brother as his support and his protector until he was able to gain the original abilities of the World Eater. Itʼs just that he didnʼt expect the person he chose as a tool to be someone like him.

One who had a previous life and someone whose origin is the same as him. A life born from the most powerful remnant fragments of the World Eater. It was only when the two of them met the God of Destruction in Vearth for the first time that Gui Xiajun realized that he messed up. The tool he had chosen became his strongest rival.

It was also the man who was chosen by the God of Destruction as his chosen other half. But isnʼt that role supposed to be his!? He planned all his life and wanted to make his first meeting with Hei Anjing the most memorable.

Who would have thought he would lose to his brother? He had been using it as a tool all his life. Isnʼt it a joke? He lost his most precious things to someone he didnʼt care much about. In the end, the one to become a joke was him.

Thatʼs why he manipulated even his fake mother and his father, Ye Mo, to kill this brother of his. He did everything that could be done while riding in the shadows. He even made sure that his soul would be shattered into hundreds—no, thousands—of fragments, making it hard for him to be reborn.

However, in the end, he did expect the God of Destruction to make all those sacrifices just to revive his bastard brother. How does it feel to go through thousands of worlds just to find wisps of someoneʼs soul? Experience death and suffering as well as a life without your beloved.

It wouldnʼt be surprising if one went insane because of it. However, the God of Destruction did it all. He underwent all those worlds. He sometimes will find the God of Voidʼs wisp soul, but most of the time he wonʼt.

Thatʼs why he hated his brotherʼs sometimes nonchalant reactions when it came to his death. Doesnʼt he know how traumatic his death is for Hei Anjing?

However, he also knows the sacrifices of their former self, the man who was known as the World Eater. Unable to control his gluttony, he killed and ate almost all the gods in existence. In his era, gods were still limited in number, and most of them were incompetent.

The gods he ate are those who cross the Ancient God of Chaos. Among the ancient gods, Chaos was the most powerful, and almost all gods, even his own parents, were afraid of him. Because of this, Hunluan is always alone, and it was also for this reason that the World Eater was created by him.

The World Eater ate everything that wanted to cause harm to his creator and his beloved and ended up being an existence feared and hated. Only the Ancient God Chaos loved him.

But Chaos hates loneliness; despite having him, he wasnʼt completely happy. Thatʼs why he became an evil one for him. Acted that he was losing control of his hunger and becoming a monster existence hated by everyone except for one person.

He wanted his beloved to become a hero. To be loved by all other gods of goddesses. However, in the end, the sacrifices he made only made his beloved unhappy, and it was because he was losing him that his sadness was almost out of control.

Only when the World Eater realized that his beloved sacrificed his soul just so he could accompany him in his death did the World Eater regret it. The two of them should not have cared for others in the first place and that having one another was enough.
