I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1560 21.17 Fifth Violet Star - Saw something I shouldnʼt have.

As Lucifer descended from his suite floor from above his bar Purgatory, those who had been waiting for him intentionally were now looking at him. Among these people are Xiu Mo, his younger brother, and his manager, Xue Lian, whose souls have been replaced by outsider entities like Tun Shizhe and Lord Chaos.

As Manager Xue Lianʼs eyes fell on him, Lucifer felt a bit uncomfortable and almost couldnʼt hide his discomfort. At least in the eyes of these two outsiders, he can hardly hide anything.

Meanwhile, the wisps of hell flame inside of him hide themselves in a place they cannot be seen. Itʼs supposed to only come out once its current host is in great danger, which this situation at the moment doesnʼt seem like it.

The more Lord Chaos tries to check on him, the more his expression turns cold. Upon seeing this, Tun Shizhe finally believes that this Lucifer, Xiu Xie, in front of them is truly the original one he had failed to kill and wasnʼt replaced by anything.

Actor Xiu Mo asked, ”How about it?”

”... Itʼs not him! Tsk!” answered Manager Xue Lian.

Then finally mumbles, ”Did I see it wrong before?”

While Xue Lian was a bit confused and depressed that he found the wrong person, Xiu Mo, on the other hand, was delighted. Seeing him get things wrong that involve the man he hates made Xiu Mo happy.

Xiu Mo wrapped his arm around his manager and said, ”Haha~ Itʼs okay to be wrong. No one will blame you for it.”

”You sound so happy though,” retorted Manager Xue Lian.

Xiu Mo said, ”Donʼt mind it.”

On the other hand, the God of Void, who was lingering around the city while holding a cup of coffee, was following the direction Zhi Yue was showing around. They wanted to visit the locations where the serial killing took place.

They had ventured to the latest location, which is the dock. The God of Void was alone with Zhi Yue in his system form as a small moon only he could see. The dock was desolated and too quiet as soon as the sun had set.

[Master, this way! The crime scene according to the information Iʼve hacked from the police stationʼs database is this way!] Zhi Yue said.

The God of Void, while using the body of Lucifer, walks past the eerie docks with only the black sea and the sound of the waves echoing in the area. It was only when they were walking along the day that the silly moon system felt scared. He had always been easily terrified thanks to his former host, Lord Hei, who loves to make fun of him. Zhi Yue floated near his lord and almost covered the God of Voidʼs face. Enjoy exclusive content from My Virtual Library Empire

[M-Master, donʼt you think this place is too quiet. Itʼs eerie~] said Zhi Yue.

Ye Xiajie slapped the little moon covering his face and said, ”Youʼre too annoying. Move away!”

Ignoring the small moon that flew out somewhere, the God of Void walks towards the location of the scene, and seeing the yellow line used by the police still there, he passes through it with no problems and checks the murder scene.

There are still traces of blood that turned black, which wasnʼt completely cleaned up by the police, and the lingering scent of blood, which only those with sensitive noses can pick up. Then there is miasma left behind in the scent.

Though mortals canʼt see it and it is almost invisible in the morning, under the night sky, the hidden miasma in the area started to surge out, including the resentment of the victim left behind on the crime scene. In the eye of the God of Void and Darkness, the empty scene in front of him wasnʼt completely empty at all.

The whole area was covered in miasma. A poison born from the corrosion of darkness elements that destroy the natural energy or life in the area. There are also some reddish wisps in the area forming the figure of a male human. This is the resentment from the regrets and fear of the victim during the time he was murdered and after his death.

ʼAah~ S-Save me~ʼ

ʼW-What did I... do wrong?ʼ

ʼWhy... Are you doing... this!?ʼ

ʼThe Captain will...ʼ

The victim was unable to complete his last words as he was cut into pieces before he could do it. His death was gruesome and extreme pain, and he even experienced what it is like to be skinned alive. When the soul full of resentment saw Ye Xiajie, he followed his instinct of trying to eat the human soul like how most resentment souls do.

Moreover, even though the God of Void had a strong Yang energy, it was now completely covered by the darkness elements lingering around him, and the resentment ghost felt that he was an easy human to bully.

The God of Void watched as the resentment soul flew towards him while covered in a strong scent of blood and miasma. The victimʼs mouth was widely beyond what humans can do, and rows of sharp, uneven teeth appeared trying to bite Ye Xiajie.

As the target of the resentment ghost, the god of void is not afraid of this scene. He had seen worse, and this is like a childʼs play in his eyes. With a snap of his fingers, a golden flame burns down the resentment ghost, who instantly screams in pain and fear. It didnʼt even notice that the resentment in his soul was being burned away.

The once deep crimson-colored ghost had turned translucent white, and it immediately calmed down as if it had regained its rationality. Once the soul woke up from its insane state, this former police officer immediately recognized Xiu Xie.

The police ghost said, ”You are... the bar owner of Purgatory!? You can see me?”

Ye Xiajie waves his hand and extinguishes the golden flame, leaving only the purified soul of the policeʼs soul.

”Hm, what do you remember?” asked the God of Void.

The police ghost chuckled and said, ”So, you werenʼt human as well? What are you?” he asked.

The God of Void said, ”You can just say that I am an angel.”

He shamelessly told a lie that is unbelievable that the ghost in front of him looked at him with disagreement in his eyes. The police ghost clearly didnʼt believe him at all.

Thus, the God of Void can only unfurl Luciferʼs wings after using divinity to change its color to golden white from black.

Whoosh~

Flap!

”Is this enough proof?” asked the God of Void nonchalantly.

On the other hand, the police ghost was flabbergasted as he looked at the huge pair of golden white wings behind the bar owner. He couldnʼt believe what he was seeing. It can be said that even if Bar ʼPurgatoryʼ is considered a gray zone, most police believe that this place is an illegal den and its owner is a future criminal once he crosses that line.

But now the bar owner they treat as Lucifer, the devil, was indeed not an ordinary human as they thought. He can see ghosts and talk to them, even controlling a weird-colored flame that burns away miasma or negative energy on them. Now there is even a beautiful pair of angel wings on his back, which doesnʼt fit his pure black attire that he is currently wearing.

The police ghost said, ”You are really an angel?”

”Do I still look like a face with these wings?” retorted the God of Void.

”But your personality...”

”Whatʼs wrong with it?”

”N-Nothing. I will tell you everything I know,” said the police ghost. ”The one who killed me is not human. He is not an angel, or maybe he used to be. Unlike your pure white wings, his is pure black. There is also a pair of horns and a tail on him. He called himself. Mammon, the Devil of Greed.”

The God of Void asked, ”Have you seen his face?”

”No...? I did, but... how come I canʼt remember?” said the police ghost as he held his head.

The God of Void checked and saw that a piece of his soul was ripped apart, and this is why a part of his memories are missing.

”Donʼt think too hard anymore. Whoever is the devil who killed you intentionally removes your memories. If you want to enter reincarnation, I shall help you,” said the God of Void.

The police ghost saluted and said, ”Thank you!”

The God of Void summoned the gates to the afterlife in this world. A huge gate appeared before the ghost and opened before him. The soul catchers from the nether realm come out of the door to escort the ghost.

The police ghost said, ”Ah! Yes, I remember something. Itʼs the reason why that devil is killing people. He said that we saw something we shouldnʼt have.”

”Saw something you shouldnʼt have? What do you mean?” The God of Void.

The police ghost said, ”At first, I was confused too. But after thinking about it for a while and seeing your wings, I think I understood why I was targeted. There is something in this world that shouldnʼt have existed. Itʼs a pair of pure white wings that is similar to yours. Each of its feathers was pure white and cannot be tainted by anything.”

”Itʼs a pair of pure white angel wings.”

The God of Void should be a bit interested in the topic of angel wings. In the first place, there is only one angel who got his wings cut off before falling into hell, and that is none other than Lucifer, the former brightest angel in the heavens.

”You know where these angel wings are then?” asked the God of Void.

The police ghost shook his head and said, ”It was considered one of the illegal items confiscated by the police force before, but it was taken away by someone, and no one knows where it is right now. However, it wasnʼt only me who saw it. Based on the information of the serial killing victims, they are most likely people who knew the existence of the angel wings.”

”Where were the angel wings found?” asked the God of Void.

The police ghost said, ”It was found in some wealthy manʼs collection, and after he was caught for the crime of drug dealing, all his collections were turned over. This is all I know. I hope it will help you well.”

After that, the soul of the police officer was finally escorted to the afterlife and passed through the gates of hell. As for whether he would get reincarnated immediately, those beyond the gates will gauge the sins of the soul first.
