I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 502: 11.28 First Green Star Haunted Asylum (17)

Haunted Asylum. Fourth Floor.

In front of the sealed metal door of room 402, Han Ya and Sui Rou were doing their best to pry open the door of the aid cursed room. They used whatever could be used. Black Widow weapon collections were even brought out. There are axes, swords, chainsaws, metal poles, and more. They tried using it just to pry the door open, unfortunately, nothing seems to be useful.

In the end, Han Ya had to use the full-strength current body could manifest to pull the door open. But what could a human strength do? Even if he used to be an undead knight who possessed overwhelming strength before, the limit of human capabilities is hindering him.

After all, the original Han Ya is a newcomer who hasnʼt even officially entered the Abyssal City. His identity is that only of a weak ghost.

Han Ya said, ”It canʼt be opened forcefully. You said this movie is something you had opened. Do you have no idea how to open the boss room?”

”I know. But it canʼt be done now. The requirement is to kill half of the players. Half of six is three. Only two had died.” answered Sui Rou.

Han Ya raised one of his eyebrows and said, ”Is that why you killed the two female players?”

”Yes.” The black widow didnʼt deny it. It was indeed her original plan to kill half of the players not only to complete her former main mission and also to complete the requirements to open the Boss Room.

Sui Rou ignored this cold man whose eyes only softened in the face of that blind man and looked for Hei Anjing. Han Ya also shrugs his shoulders and looks at An Yuan. The two just happened to be together at the distance watching the two of them pry open the door.

But as they turned their heads, they were shocked to see An Yuan and Hei Anjing enjoying their time at the corner. They were holding ice cream cones that were obviously bought or sent by the audience to them as gifts. They were like children enjoying a cold treat under the shade. Completely relaxed and leisurely.

Han Ya and Sui Rou looked at each other covered in dust and sweat feeling the unfairness of the world. Even the audience in their platforms were laughing at their expressions. Obviously envious of these two men who were enjoying everything just by watching from a distance.

Hei Anjing was merciless and ignored their ugly expression. He even asked, ”Are you guys done? Did the door finally open?” currently spooning an ice cream to eat.

Seeing his devil may care attitude the other three donʼt know how to react. But An Yuan was shy and felt shrinking as he heard Hei Anjingʼs words. He knew that their other teammates were now looking at them. Then he remembered the huge cone of ice cream in his hands given by Hei Anjing from the audience. He was very kind to share it with the other two who had done all the hard work.

Carefully walking towards Han Ya and Sui Rou, he pulled out the other two cones of ice cream from the platform gift space.

An Yuan said, ”T-There are a lot. We have a small fridge of ice cream. What flavor do you want to eat? Letʼs take a short rest first and try it again.”

The two silently agreed and voiced the flavors they wanted to eat.

Han Ya, ”Coffee Crumble.” Following the information from the memories, the original Han Yan had left.

”Red Velvet. Thank you,” said Sui Rou.

An Yuan said, ”Okay” as he pulled out the ice creams of the following flavors and gave them to the two.

The audience of their platform just now had given them a small fridge of ice cream cones with tons of different types of flavor inside. This happened when Hei Anjing had gotten bored of watching them pry the door and commented that it was too hot and wanted to eat ice cream.

As if instantly some wealthy viewers had gifted him some. Since they were from the same group platform the gifts were shared with the team as well. Hei Anjingʼs gifts are so abundant. So except for those expensive gifts, ordinary gifts like food and necessities were shared. The ice cream cones are one of them.

The four players were enjoying themselves with ice cream and totally forgot about the boss NPC beyond the door. Without them knowing this boss NPC was glaring at them from the small window of the door. She was looking at the ice cream in the hands of the players.

Abyssal monsters born in this realm are not much different from humans. Except for their appearance looking like a monster or ghost, they are able to consume human food as well. Moreover, even if they die in the game after the game was finished they would be revived by the Abyssal World itself.

During their vacations, they could also enter the Abyssal city in human disguise and eat food made by humans. The only ones who can die for real in the Abyssal world are humans. Which is there would be new batches of human players being pulled in this world most of the time.

But it wasnʼt completely unfair for human players, they are able to gain inhuman strength and abilities in this world as long as they completely finished a game. Increasingly attaining strength, the possibility of becoming a god is not impossible. Didnʼt the abyss be now considered as the Evil God? He was born as a former human in this world and climbed up the peak and became the sole ruler of the Abyssal World. It was just that after becoming a God his past life memories were refreshed and all he knew is that he used to be called abyss as a human and Yan Lou as the Evil god.

Hei Anjing pretends not to notice the glowering pair of eyes from the small window of room 402. Of course, the other three players had also felt her glares and chose to ignore her. They knew that the reason they couldnʼt open the door in room 402 is that the boss NPC herself is blocking the door, so the only way to open it is to make the Boss NPC do it herself.

Seeing that the Boss NPC is very interested in food, Hei Anjing chooses to bait her with more food.

”Iʼm hungry. Letʼs eat our meals here for a bit. We can try opening the door after eating.” suggested Hei Anjing.

An Yuan who realized his plans helped him to accomplish the goal of getting the Boss comes out of her room.

Professor An Yuan said, ”Sir Hei, is correct. Youʼve been trying to pry it open. Letʼs eat first and think what should be done again later.”

Han Ya didnʼt speak a word and just stood beside An Yuan, silently agreeing with his words.

Sui Rou also didnʼt speak, instead, she pulled a mat in her storage and placed it in the middle of the hall. She is prepared to eat anywhere. As a veteran player, though her food storage isnʼt as rich as Hei Anjingʼs, she would still have the utensils used for it. She even brought out plates, spoons, and forks.

Followed by that Hei Anjing happily pulled up food from his dimensional space. Since he has a lot of resources in his dimension plus a farm, Hei Anjing would never run out of food. He brought out a portable grill and stove. Asked Yang to bring out some pots, uncooked meat, uncooked kinds of seafood, and even ramen.

Seeing such a huge pile of food coming out of Hei Anjingʼs storage the other three including their managers were dumbfounded.

Sui Rouʼs thoughts: ʼWhy did you fill up your storage tool with food!?ʼ

Han Ya was confused. As a former undead who doesnʼt need to eat at all and suddenly getting bombarded by human food that assaulted his nose. His tummy instinctively growls in hunger.

GROWLS~

Growls~

growl~

Three sounds are coming from Han Ya. Sui Rou and An Yuan. They reflectively covered their stomach crying out for food. Hei Anjing gave them a teasing smile and gave an order.

”Go cook. Help me grill the meat, shrimps, squid, and clams there. There are condiments available as well. Donʼt hesitate. Iʼm going to cook the noodles.” said Hei Anjing.

”Okay~”

Everyone could only watch as they saw Hei Anjing bring out a chopping board. String onions and other veggies that can be included in the ramen. Though they were used to eating this kind of human food, the meals made by Hei Anjing are top class. Even better than those cooked in five-star restaurants.

Chop. Chop. Chop.

Pours~

Boiling! Clang!

Hei Anjing spoke, ”Okay! The noodles are ready. Prepare your bowls!” Beside him, the other three players including their managers were all holding their own personal bowls staring at the huge pot of ramen with glowing eyes.

The series of the step-by-step process of seeing luxurious noodles with golden-red soup appeared before them. Everyone including the viewers couldnʼt help but drool upon such a sight. Even the Boss NPC beyond the closed door was holding on to her stomach and her saliva strolling down from her slightly open mouth. She felt, even more, hungrier than when she saw those delicious-looking humans.

The Boss NPCʼs thoughts at this moment: ʼWuwu~ Would I become the first game boss being lured by human food?ʼ

ʼThat noodles have a golden-red shade. It looks spicy yet cheesy. Did that human just put cheese on the ramen!?ʼ

ʼWu~ the last time I ate human food was 100 years ago. That was during my last vacation. I also want to eat that ice cream. It seems sweet and fruity. I want strawberry flavor~ʼ

ʼWhat is that? That squid is too big. Isnʼt that an octopus!? Buttered soy sauce clams drools* this smell... I want to eat too~ʼ

She couldnʼt stop herself from peeking at the small window of her room and saw humans happily eating golden soup noodles and various grilled foods over the fire. She truly wanted to kick her door open and grab all those food and kill all these humans who were enchanting her to go out.

The sound of her teeth gritting echoes within the dark area of room 402. Behind her direct subordinates, the other mental patientsʼ ghosts and monsters were all standing in line waiting for the bossʼs commands. They would sometimes slurp back their dangling salivas and rub their stomach secretly. This is the first time in their lives that they were tortured with the smell of food. Sadly, it is extremely effective. Who says that ghosts and monsters donʼt need to eat!?

A mid-boss monster spoke, ”Boss, let us kill them now and steal their food! It smells delicious!”

”Ah~ theyʼre about to finish everything up! BOSS, Iʼm hungry~”

”Boss~ I want to eat too!”

”Boss...”

”boss...”

The Boss NPC was suddenly enraged and finally couldnʼt stop herself and kicked the door of room 402 open.

KICKED!

BANG!

With her hair extending towards the human, he had grabbed everything on the top of the picnic mat.

”DAMN HUMANS!!!” she shouted as she attacked.

Her eyes were red in anger and hunger, after pulling all humans including the food inside her territory, she slammed the door back open. In an instant, that door which is almost impossible to be opened from outside was kicked open. Dragged all humans and their food inside then once again closed the door.

Only the loud slamming sound of the door was left outside the fourth floor of the Haunted Asylum and the rest including all the human players were dragged inside. In the end, Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum Boss NPC becomes the first boss to be lured by human food. It was embarrassing as everyone who was watching the shared channel of Han Ya, An Yuan, Hei Anjing, and Lou Yan had all witnessed this scene leaving all of them flabbergasted.

The platformʼs viewerʼs thoughts:

ʼFuck! You can lure out a Boss NPC with food! This is amazing!ʼ
