I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 440: 9.59 Second Blue Star - The Forgotten Past Life of Lou Wuye and Yun Ming (4)

A suffocating killing pressure spread within the water dungeon.

Killing aura is made from the bloodthirstiness of someone who had killed countless people before. Slaughtering numerous beings allowed one to possess a presence that is cold and dangerous, the thicker the scent of blood as the killing intent aura has the more person the possessor of this aura had slain.

The Great elder of Ye Gui is a Peak Celestial Immortal who is only one step to being a full immortal despite being restrained, would never be looked down upon by someone weaker and sinister like Ye Mo. Just his bloodthirsty aura was enough to suppress an arrogant young master like Ye Mo.

Ye Wuye spoke and forcedly used his qi to burn the record of his and Lu Mingʼs name on the book of life and death. But with this one attack, it was enough to destroy Ye Wuyeʼs soul. He had sacrificed himself to protect Lu Ming from Ye Moʼs clutches. Using a forbidden technique to release the peak of his soul strength regardless of circumstances in exchange for his life force. Because of this, he could freely break free from the chains that restrain him.

Ye Mo and then God King Subordinate that he had brought with him were shocked with what they were witnessing. Ye Mo can here to flaunt his power in front of the Great Elder he hates the most.

”This is impossible! Those are soul chains. It cannot be destroyed unless you are a real Immortal God. You are only supposed to be a Celestial God!? How is this possible? I donʼt believe this!” yelled Ye Mo in disbelief.

[A/n: Lou Wuye used the name Ye Wuye when facing the others in the dream realm. After all, he would wake up if someone recognized him as someone else. Dreams mostly end if a person in a dream learns that you are not the original being of that realm.]

Lou Wuye felt that his cultivation had returned to its original state but he knew that this was something temporary. This is a strength that even he didnʼt have in his real-time. After all his real cultivation as a Warden is only peak Celestial God.

”This feeling is indeed not bad. Sadly, it is short-lived. I wanted to kill you unfortunately I cannot do so. You still need to exist in the future right?” said Lou Wuye. He flexed his wrist to remove the numbness as he dried his clothes with his current qi. Acting as calm as he always is.

”Havenʼt Iʼve told you countless times, this deity had no interest In your stupid race. Something like the Ye Guis is destined to perish in the future. After all, you shouldnʼt have set your eyes on that lord and cause him harm.” said Lou Wuye as he was indirectly telling them that it was because of Ye Moʼs greed for power and wanted to overpower the Mo Family and harm Hei Anjing that his lord would never forgive him.

Once the Lord God took back all of his soul fragments the demise of the Ye Gui Race is carved on the stone. Slowly as his soul integrated into this dreamland the sealed memories of his past life resumed. He witnessed the death of Yun Mingʼs soul in this realm but unfortunately, he couldnʼt do anything about it. He slowly closes his eyes, wanting to prevent himself from seeing the next scene in accordance with his memories.

As expected, the current lord of this race had hidden himself to follow his son. Who would have expected not only would he see his son bringing out the divine artifact that their creator owns, he would even witness the last moments of the Great Elderʼs life. He took this as an opportunity to sneak an attack and kill the great elder on the spot.

Lu Ming screamed, ”Master Look out!”

”Getaway, brat! Or I will kill you as well.” yelled the current master of the Ye Gui race.

Lu Ming came out of his hiding place and stood in front of his master and blocked the attack with his body. His stomach was pierced as he fell back to his Masterʼs embrace. Lou Wuye caught him with a pained expression on his face.

Slightly trembling Lou Wuye hugged Lu Ming carefully in his embrace. His movements were gentle as if afraid the young man in his embrace would disappear before his sight.

With his lips upturned Lu Ming looked at his master tenderly, ”M-Master... I know... you are not completely my master. Didnʼt you know my... Master never smiled at me... In my life...” he said in his last moment.

”True yet wrong at the same time. I am not him but he is my past. Mingʼer doesnʼt worry I will protect you in our next life. Sleep well my dearest.” said Lou Wuye as he kissed Lu Mingʼs forehead before the latter took his last breath and closed his eyes. But there is a satisfied smile on his face, he only looks like he was sleeping but those who knew that Lu Ming is already gone.

The scene they had witnessed is unnerving yet it left the other three speechless as if none of them had the right to disturb the couple.

They watched as the Great Elder pulled the most luxurious robe in his space storage and wrapped it around Lu Ming. He carried him in his embrace ignoring the others as he walked away.

”Ye Caoye, you killed my love in this life and I will never forgive you in eternity. But despite that I wonʼt punish you, I have a good feeling we should be seeing each other again in our next life. A last piece of advice from this old friend. Be careful of your back.” said Lou Wuye as he disappeared in a few steps.

Ye Mo panicked for a moment when he saw his father let the great elder leave.

”Father, are you going to let the Great Elder leave? He would be a hindrance to us in the future! He would also inform the Creator about our plan!” complained Ye Mo.

The current leader glared at him and said, ”Are you ordering this old man? Why call me father if you arenʼt going to respect me!? Or is it that you want to replace this old man already and become the new leader of our race?”

Ye Mo panicked when he saw his father looking at him with eyes full of distrust. He immediately shut his mouth and lowered his standing as he spoke, ”F-Father... Donʼt tell me... Do you believe that old bastard? I am your only son. I know you would give me the throne sooner or later. Why would I take it from you when I am still so young!?”

On the other hand, his thoughts are: ʼThat old bastard made my father guarded towards me. How can I take control of the Clan if his eyes are on me!? Dammit! I will definitely kill him.ʼ

Using thought transmission he issued orders to his people to kill Ye Wuye on sight. He also shared the information that he had escaped the water dungeon and gave them the possible locations of the escape routes.

What he didnʼt know was that his father was extremely disappointed in his reaction. He also noticed the thought transmission his son had done but chose not to comment.

”Forget about Wuye, he could only last until dawn.” said his father as he walked away, turning a blind eye to his sonʼs sinister action. He is still after all his only descendant.

As soon as his father disappeared, Ye Mo no longer held back his anger and all his hatred was shown on his face.

”Tsk! That stupid old man. Why didnʼt he just die already? He even warned father how the hell should I usurp the throne now. He will be on guard with me now. Plus he learned that the Divine Artifact, the book of life and death is in my possession. I would not allow him to take it away from me! Never!” said Ye Mo in his tantrums.

On the other hand, Lou Wuye was abused countless times on their way out. He recognized most of them even though they hid their faces. They werenʼt the people who were loyal to the current leader, Ye Caoye, but instead followed the lead of the Young Master, Ye Mo.

”Tsk, that damn brat is truly vengeful! Even though... I still need to meet the God of Void before the end of this life. I... Cough!”

His pursuers had caught up and had to move away as soon as possible.

”He is here!”

”The target runs this way!”

”Kill him! This way!”

”Donʼt let him escape!”

”The commands of the Young lord must be completed. Kill him already!”

Lou Wuye carrying Lu Ming in his embrace had no way to attack and focused on protecting Lu Mingʼs corpse instead. The only wish of the original Ye Wuye is life in a far place with Lu Ming. Even willing to live as humans but in the end, they werenʼt given the opportunity and had to perish in the end. At least, in the end, they were still together.

It took hours before Lou Wuye successfully escaped his predicament. He went to the world tree and rested under it while embracing Lu Ming in his arms.

”This place should be... Quiet enough. Mingʼs this little tree would grow so tall that its leaves would cover half of this world. But unfortunately, it would be transferred to Vearth in a few hundred years. I will bring you to this place again in our next life. This I promise you...” murmured Lou Wuye.

COOUUGHHH!

His eyes were getting blurry as the backlash of the forbidden technique had finally arrived. He coughed a mouthful of blood but still avoided the young man in his embrace tainted by his own blood.

[Oh no I arrived late. He is already dying... Wuwu~ The Lord is going to punish me.]

The one who appeared is System Yue in his early days. The Zhi Yue in this life is just a boy. Someone who hasnʼt experienced a long duration of time. An innocent little system.

”Heh, ~ donʼt panic... Just tell your lord I agree to be his subordinate but not in this life but next. In exchange allow me and this little one in my embrace to be reincarnated together. Even if he no longer has his book of life and death he should still be able to fulfill my wife. After all, he is the Ruler God who controls the life and death of all living gods.”

[Boohoo... Donʼt die... I have recorded your words. I promise to tell my master about it.]

”Yue, I am also a bit sleepy...” murmured Lou Wuye.

[Master, where are you? The person you want is already dying~]

Suddenly, ”What is this? He is already dead...” a deep and cold maleʼs voice was heard.

In his last moment, the God of Void finally appeared. Seeing the similar face in his original memories, he was so sure this is indeed his Lord God. He couldnʼt help but smile in relief.

”Indeed... The Lord Godʼs origin is not ordinary...”

His sight turned black and the darkness had swallowed him in the abyss. It took a while before he felt the heaviness in his body had faded. Once he felt he could finally move, his eyes fluttered and once again woke up as Hu Yue, the Fox God.

Beside the bed is Yun Ming who was sleeping deeply. The person didnʼt even wake up when he carried him to the bed to rest with him. The figure of Yun Ming sleeping by his side made him remember that memory where Lu Ming died in his arms. He couldnʼt help but pulled him tightly and whisper,

”In this life, I will protect you no matter what, Mingʼer...” murmured Warden Lou.
