I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 29: 2.2 Third Small Star – Hei Xue

Hospital.

Wu Xueʼs Room

The married couple in paper, Wu Xue and Wan Lengya had decided to divorce.

This is the result theyʼve made together. Like how the original Wu Xue waited for 3 years after their arranged marriage, for Wan Lengya to give him his answer to his question long time ago, now the conclusion is made.

Though thereʼs no divorce papers given to him, their marriage still ended. As Wan Lengya had chosen is Muse, Xing Ran, instead of his wife, Wu Xue, like in the original plot.

Once theyʼd finished their conversation, the two who were asked to leave the room for a moment were called back inside. Yue Wuya presented the snack Wu Xue requested to him. Macaroons.

Without even moving his gaze to the macarons in front of him, ”Aunt, I and Lengya reached a conclusion. I will have my lawyer prepare the divorce papers. Please have Lengya come here after 3 days for signing.” Said Wu Xue who casually ate the macaroons gifted to him by his best friend.

The two who just returned in the room showed a stunned expression as they heard what Wu Xue just said and when they saw Wan Lengya reluctantly nod his head, they believed that these two talked about it properly.

With an evident detachment through his voice, ”Lady Wan, did you hear me?” asked Wu Xue with a smile that is not a smile. While the lady of Wan can only nodded agreeing to the princeʼs request but all she can feel is remoteness to this princeʼs tone.

Lady Wan knew that she was already being treated as a stranger. After all, the original Wu Xue used to call him Aunt even before his son and this prince got married but now he calls him Lady Wan. Calling her in this formal manner gave her the feeling that Prince Snow is now treating her Wan Clan as strangers and not as his in-laws.

Her heart was full of anxiety for no reason, ”Y-Yes, I will ask Lengya to meet your highness a week after.” Replied Lady Wan.

Completely uninterested in the mother and son at all, Wu Xue resumed eating his macaroons with trembling hands but he didnʼt seem to mind his weak fingers at all.

Lady Wan upon seeing her little in law in such a state she couldnʼt help but feel that she did something wrong. After all, the one who asked her son to divorce her little in law was her and the clan. Seeing her little in law throws no tantrum in accepting the divorce with her son. She couldnʼt help but think that something had gone wrong, especially seeing her sonʼs frown while stealing glances at Wu Xue who is ignoring their presence like they donʼt exist in his world at all.

This kind of Wu Xue made her feel uncomfortable, like she made someone an enemy she couldnʼt afford to have.

Yue Wuya who could no longer watch Wu Xueʼs actions used a spoon to feed him bit by bit. This is to stop this sickly man in using his crippled hands.

”If there isnʼt anything you wish to say. Please go ahead.” said Wu Xue to Wan Lengya and his mother. He was concomitantly telling them to take their leave.

After staring at Wu Xue for a few moments, Wan Lengya stood up and prepared to leave with his mother but before he completely walked out of the door he once again looked back only to see that Wu Xue no longer paid any attention to him.

He can only watch the two, one being fed while the other is feeding. He suddenly felt that he was being replaced by Yue Wuya. After the two had taken their leave, a serious expression appeared on Yue Wuyaʼs face as he looked at Wu Xue before him.

Yue Wuya said, ”Xue, are you really sure about that divorce? Lengya is…”

”Is in love with a guy named Xing Ran. A year younger than me and a prodigy in music thought still a bit rough on the edges.” Replied Wu Xue as he continued munching on macarons.

”Wuya, I am not a hypocrite. I am not willing to continue staying with a man whose heart had started to move on to another. My man can only have me in his heart. It seems that Lengya isnʼt him.”

Yue Wuya was struck silent by that, ”How about me? Do you think you can like me the same way as Lengya?” asked Wuya while staring at Wu Xue with expectation.

Sighing, Wu Xue grabbed Yue Wuyaʼs right hand and put it above his chest where his heart resides.

”Wuya, feel my heartbeat. Even though you are before me only a few inches distance there is no change in my heartbeat at all. I do not wish to give you false hope but that doesnʼt mean I still love Wan Lengya unconditionally. If there is something that changes then… I can tell you that the former Wu Xue is dead. I, Wu Xue, is not the same one. I want you to not visit me for this week as well. I want to be alone for now. This is to give you time to think about what kind of relationship you wish to have with me. I can only say… it will never be lovers. You should leave as well, Wuya. I want to sleep.” Wu Xue said as he laid back on his bed and closed his eyes.

Yue Wuya who noticed that Wu Xue had really fallen asleep could only properly cover him with a blanket before turning off the lights of the room and closing the door behind him silently.

”Sleep well, Xue.”

As soon as he got out of the room, Yue Wuya bumped into Wan Lengya who was standing at the wall near the door. It seems that he heard their conversation. He was expecting at least to hear Wu Xue cry out in Yue Wuyaʼs presence like before, thatʼs how it usually is. But he never expected to hear those words coming out from Wu Xueʼs mouth.

The words like, he no longer loves him the same as before. Only when he heard Wu Xue says that. That Lengya realized that the changes that took place inside that room, Wu Xue treating him and his mother as strangers and the ending between their marriage is all real. It is not a small matter as he thought it was. Even the friendship they had in their childhood will disappear at the moment he signed those divorce papers.

Seeing Wan Lengya, Yue Wuya could only frown, ”You heard Xue. He doesnʼt wish to see any visitors for 3 days. You should leave too because he is already asleep.” Said Wuya as he walked away. Wan Lengya only looked at the closed door of Wu Xueʼs room before walking away as well.

After the two truly left the area, Wu Xue opened his eyes once again. ”Exe, I would like to retrieve a beautifying pill and bone reconstruction pill from the system mall.”

[I would like to inform the Host that taking the Bone Reconstruction Pill will be extremely painful and recommend for the host to buy a painkiller.]

”Is it really that painful? Then I will listen to you. Get me that from the system mall as well.” Replied Wu Xue.

[Host you are still able to retrieve 2 items in the system mall for this world. Redeemed Items: 3rd Tier Beautifying Pill (1), Bone Construction Pill (1) and Anesthetic Pill (1).]

Wu Xue just nodded his head in agreement three pills appeared on his hands. These are the pills he ordered from the system mall. So, he took it without problems.

”Exe, according to this bodyʼs memories it seems that he didnʼt hate Lengya for abandoning him. He was only sad that the person he loves didnʼt choose him. It should be okay to punish only the Black Lotus.” Said Wu Xue.

[According to the World Plot as long as the two protagonists didnʼt end up being together then it will be considered complete. It will be the host choice whether he wants to kill or spare anyone. Wu Xueʼs wish is only to find someone that loves only him.]

”Hm, his dream is so simple but the hardest to achieve. In the end as long as they donʼt end up together then I can complete my task, but I still want to kill that black lotus.” Replied Wu Xue.

As Wu Xue planned no one else had visited him for one whole week. Within those days he summoned his family lawyer to prepare a few things for him who in the end decided to leave the clan like him and serve as his confidant.

First is the divorce between him and Wan Lengya. Second is about his inheritance and lastly is that he officially asked to remove his name under the Wu Clanʼs genealogy which his clan elders longed wanted. Everything was processed according to his wishes.

After a week the following news were announced online: Wu Xueʼs divorce, inheritance, and renounced by Wu Clan to be removed from their clanʼs family tree. On the promised day, Wu Xue officially changed his name to Hei Xue. After paying his hospital bill, he finished his preparation for departure. Only the lawyer he hired was left there with him in the hospital room. Respectfully treating him as his master, after all this person sworn his services under his wing, when he left the Wu Clan.

The signed divorce papers were left in his caring for his well-being. Hei Yu is someone from his maternal family clan. He is someone who serves the people of Hei. He works for Wu Clan only because of Wu Xue. Now that Hei Xue left Wu Clan, Hei Yu no longer has any plans on staying in that two-faced Clan and dedicate himself to serving his prince. Hei Xueʼs deceased father was from Wu Clan and a direct descendant as well. This is the reason why the Wu Clan treated him as a Prince despite being an orphan. His mother is surnamed Hei. The lawyer, Hei Yu is someone who used to serve his mother before she and his father died in a plane crash.

After the Wu Clan had removed his name in Wu Clanʼs genealogical records, Xue chose to follow his motherʼs name which is why he was renamed as Hei Xue. The moment Hei Xue was kicked out of Wu Clan, Hei Yu also left the said clan. His master had already left, what is the use of him staying in such a disgusting clan?

”Hei Yu, Iʼll leave the things here for you to handle. After a few years I might return, until then everything, even the company will be in your care.” Said Hei Xue.

In this life, Hei Xue once again rebuilt Wonderland but this time it didnʼt focus on technology but music instruments of all times. From Zither to western piano, everything can be found in their company. This company was made by Hei Yu secretly under the original Wu Xueʼs orders.

Hei Xue will be leaving the country to finalize a contract to an outside corporation who wishes to go under their management. The reason why he is leaving the country for years is to return home to where his motherʼs remains reside and the only one who knew about it is his lawyer and currently the CEO of Wonderland. Hei Yu.

”Master, I couldnʼt believe that you are able to cure your hands by yourself.” Hei Yu said as he stared at his masterʼs hands fully healed except for a few scars left by the surgery. He stares at his masterʼs divine beauty reverently.

”Just because others canʼt do it, doesnʼt mean I can. I need to go now, else Iʼll be late for my flight.” Replied Hei Xue.

Hei Xue, the moment he changes his name, everything of his changed. His originally light ash blond hair which was dyed to follow his fatherʼs blood was removed. His hair was originally obsidian in color. The fake glasses he used to cover up his celestial blue eyes were now gone, as he no longer needed to hide his emotions that he couldnʼt control at which he now has full control.

The gentle façade he had before, long disappeared. There is only a playful little devil that is present as he throws away his former identity. As if a snow which is covered with thick mist no one else could uncover its real face but when the mist resided and the darkness hidden within it can be the only thing could be seen. They will notice that even the snow can turn black within the night without anything to light it up.

Hei Xue waited outside the hospital seated at the empty bench waiting for his chauffeur to arrive.
