The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 1178: Chapter 1198: Weren’t You Supposed to Feed Me Medicine?

”Young Master, the doctor is here to deliver medicine for the Young Mistress...”

Xia Xiaonuan’s whole body stiffened.

Nangong Yaoling was also taken aback, glaring at her speechlessly.

Nangong Yaoling’s face darkened for a moment.

Embarrassed, she quickly pulled the bedsheet over to cover her body, thinking Nangong Yaoling would lose his temper but unexpectedly, he merely moved away from her.

He helped her cover up with the bedsheet.

Personally walked to the door and took the medicine brought by the doctor.

Carrying a bowl of prepared Chinese medicine to the bedside.

The air was instantly filled with the bitter scent of the medicine.

Xia Xiaonuan snuggled under the blanket, her cheeks blushing, revealing only half of her head and those big, watery eyes.

Looking at her, Nangong Yaoling’s lips curved, his eyes filled with indulgence: ”Sweetheart, drink the medicine first... we’ll continue later...”

Xia Xiaonuan’s lips were numb from the kiss, looking at the man impeccably dressed in a suit, she couldn’t help but angrily say: ”I—don’t—want!”

The man reached out, gently tugging at her blanket.

Smiling, he asked, ”Which one don’t you want? Not keen on the medicine, or not keen on me?”

”...”

”Neither...” Xia Xiaonuan simply shrunk further under the blanket. Her clothes were off, yet he insisted on her taking the medicine.

How was she supposed to drink it?

Moreover, the medicine smelled so bitter, she felt nauseous every time she drank it.

Adding to that, his dashing appearance in a neat suit contrasted sharply with her somewhat disheveled state, as if the man who was tormenting her wasn’t him just moments ago.

”Be good...” the man’s voice sounded above her, as a large hand gently tugged at the blanket: ”Sweetheart, are you mad? The doctor said you’re too weak. I’m worried about you; health comes first, you know?”

”...” What’s he saying? I don’t understand!

”Even though... I’m also anxious and frustrated... don’t worry, after you have the medicine, I’ll make it up to you...”

”...” Enough is enough!

He talks as if I were some insatiable beast...

”You... what are you rambling about?” Xia Xiaonuan suddenly poked her head out from the blanket, glared at the man in front of her.

Her hair was unruly, her little mouth pouted, her rosy cheeks carried a blush, making her look extremely adorable.

Nangong Yaoling’s lower abdomen tightened slightly.

He felt like he really couldn’t take it anymore.

Nangong Yaoling sat by the bed, reaching into the blanket.

Xia Xiaonuan’s face changed, squealing a soft ”ah ah” as she squirmed to dodge...

”What are you doing...” she asked with a laugh.

Nangong Yaoling laughed as well, reaching inside the blanket to tickle her.

”Will you be good and take the medicine? Otherwise, I won’t go easy on you...” the man teased, then proceeded to tickle her.

Xia Xiaonuan laughed out loud, struggling as the blanket was pulled away, almost exposing herself.

She quickly said, ”I’ll drink, okay?”

Only then did a satisfied smile flash across Nangong Yaoling’s handsome face. He sat down, pulling her into his arms.

Xia Xiaonuan was dragged into his embrace, leaning against him, tugging the blanket over her chest.

The man’s hand slipped under the blanket, landing on her left chest, mischievously kneading.

”Sweetheart, you’re so soft... it’s hard to stop...”

Xia Xiaonuan grabbed his arm, glaring at him discontent, ”Weren’t you going to feed me the medicine?”

The man’s tongue gently pressed against the back of her ear, kissing and licking, speaking in a low, husky voice: ”Who told you to be so tempting, a touch makes it hard to stop...”
