The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 1169: Chapter 1189: Does Young Master Hate Him So Much?

She said with concern, ”Xiaonuan, your health isn’t good, why are you doing these things? You need to rest well, you know?”

”I just feel bored.” Xia Xiaonuan pulled her to sit by the bed, ”Come sit down! There are lots of fruits here, and your favorite mangos!”

”Oh right...” At this moment, Qi Yue remembered something and asked, ”I just saw Shaochen, didn’t he come to see you?”

Xia Xiaonuan was taken aback upon hearing this.

She shook her head and said, ”No. Where did you see him?”

Qi Yue smiled and said, ”Maybe he really came to see a friend. He said he came to see a friend, but he’s already left.”

Xia Xiaonuan had something flash in her eyes but couldn’t help but smile, ”Maybe, he might have friends from the company too.”

Qi Yue nodded.

However, she couldn’t understand why someone of Liang Shaochen’s status would come alone if it was a colleague having a baby?

But she didn’t want to think about it, because right now, she had more important things.

”Young Master... where did he go?”

”He, ah, has been here all day. In the afternoon, the company called, so I let him go to work.”

Qi Yue nodded.

Thinking, Xiaonuan isn’t feeling well now, she couldn’t tell her about this thing and make her worry. Besides, Young Master’s reaction is uncertain.

So... she could take the opportunity while Xiaonuan is in the hospital to go find Young Master at his company or home.

Qi Yue pondered and tentatively asked, ”Xiaonuan, is your health issue related to the last time you were taken away by Situ Yan? I heard something big happened in Australia then.”

Xia Xiaonuan seemed to not have heard.

”Xiaonuan...”

”Huh?” Xia Xiaonuan came back to her senses, looked at Qi Yue, and after a few seconds said, ”Did you say, Situ Yan?”

She had just drifted off, because thinking about Liang Shaochen coming to the hospital made her a bit worried. Did he come to see her?

Qi Yue couldn’t help but ask, ”I’ve always been curious, how did Situ Yan die? Does Young Master... really hate him?”

Hearing Situ Yan’s name, Xia Xiaonuan’s eyes dimmed slightly.

”He... was reportedly shot dead by Nangong Yaoling.” After saying this, Xia Xiaonuan fell silent, then looked at Qi Yue and said, ”Don’t mention this name in front of Nangong Yaoling, it’s a taboo for him.”

She remembered last time, because she mentioned Situ Yan, she had a fight with Nangong Yaoling. Nangong Yaoling’s possessiveness is unusually strong.

Qi Yue’s face changed slightly.

”What’s wrong?” Xia Xiaonuan asked curiously.

Today, Qi Yue seems strange.

”Ah... nothing...” Qi Yue couldn’t help but laugh and said, ”That big scoundrel, not only does Young Master hate him, I hate him too! How could it be mentioned?”

Xia Xiaonuan shook her head with a smile, ”You...”

Later, when Xia Xiaonuan went to the bathroom, she overheard the nurses in the corridor discussing something.

”I heard that guy is so handsome! About six feet tall, looks clean-cut and charming. How did he fall for Liu?”

”Yeah, I’m puzzled too. What was he thinking, Liu is so unattractive, and I heard he didn’t say anything, just bumped into Liu in the corridor and gave her a big bouquet of roses? Liu was stunned. But that handsome guy said nothing after giving them and just left...”

At this time, a young nurse walked out from the cubicle, teasing with a smile, ”Stop gossiping, I actually think that guy might be here to see his girlfriend.”
