The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 958: Chapter 978: This Woman Is Mine

”Yandi, are you alright?”

”Find out which company’s helicopter it is! Make sure you bring her back to me!”

”Yes, I’ll send someone immediately!” Han Sun quickly replied.

Situ Yan took a deep breath, and suddenly, his gaze fell on the high windowsill.

”Wait a minute!”

Han Sun paused at the sound, looking at the direction of Situ Yan’s gaze, a flicker of tension crossing his eyes.

The windowsill is so high, and Xia Xiaonuan is pregnant—it should be very difficult for her to climb up...

He looked at the golden trash can below the windowsill.

On top, it had been wiped spotless, yet cigarette butts were scattered on it—likely left there when passersby tried to throw them into the bin and missed.

Situ Yan reached out, his fingertips drawing a line across the trash can.

Immediately, a fingerprint appeared.

In an instant, his eyes filled with stormy rage.

He turned around and coldly stared at Han Sun.

Realizing he had been found out, Han Sun fell to the floor with a thump, kneeling.

He should have anticipated that deceiving someone as smart as Yandi is exceedingly difficult.

But... he had no choice.

”Do you have anything to say?” Situ Yan suddenly pulled out a handgun, aiming it at Han Sun’s head.

The bodyguards around were shocked into silence.

The ever-loyal Han Sun had deceived Yandi and let Miss Xia go?

It was simply unbelievable!

Han Sun closed his eyes and said, ”Yandi, it’s my fault, just shoot me dead!”

”Why did you let her go? Han Sun, you clearly know what she means to me...”

”Yandi...” Han Sun opened his eyes, looking at the murderous expression on Situ Yan’s face, his own eyes rimmed red: ”I know, this time, my actions are unforgivable. But... before I die, I just want to say this one thing: Miss Xia is really not suitable for you... Having her by your side will only bring disaster to you and the Lot Empire... You truly shouldn’t continue to pursue her! You can have any woman you want in this world, why insist on the one connected to the Nangong Group?”

”Shit—!” Situ Yan lashed out with a kick, fiercely hitting Han Sun in the chest.

Han Sun fell backward, blood spilling from his mouth.

”Let me tell you, I don’t care about any woman in the world! For now, I’ll keep you alive. If anything happens to Xiaonuan, I will make sure you die a miserable death! I don’t care who Xia Xiaonuan belongs to; this woman... I, Situ Yan, have claimed her!”

”Yandi...” Han Sun looked at him helplessly, pleadingly.

Situ Yan cast him a cold glance before turning and walking away.

”Go and take a hundred lashes yourself!” he said coldly after taking a few steps.

”Thank you... thank you, Yandi!” Han Sun said gratefully. Although a hundred lashes might keep him bedridden for half a month, it at least proved that Yandi still cared about him.

Situ Yan stopped at the elevator but gave him another cold look.

”Forget it, I’ll keep this on your tab for now; after dealing with Nangong Yaoling, we’ll settle it together!” At this crucial time, he could not afford further complications!

Han Sun: ”...”

”Thank... thank you, Yandi...”

The helicopter landed in a small empty square.

Xia Xiaonuan swiped her card and then gave a large sum of cash to the staff.

”I hope you won’t disclose my whereabouts.”

”Understood, we understand,” the staff smiled and said.
