The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 241: Chapter 243 [243] Actually Using a Honey Trap

Xia Xiaonuan reached out to pat her own forehead.

As if summoning up her courage, she abruptly turned around.

”Umm... I was just anxious and I don’t know what I said earlier. Please, just don’t mind it!”

”...” No response.

Is he asleep?

Xia Xiaonuan tiptoed forward. Even though she was wearing shoe covers, every step still made a rustling sound.

Finally, she stopped at the bedside.

Even though he had changed into hospital clothes, Nangong Yaoling’s body still emitted a faint floral scent.

The man lay on his side. Xia Xiaonuan peeked and found Nangong Yaoling had his eyes closed.

From this angle, his eyelashes were long, his lips thin, his nose high, his chin well-defined. Even his profile was flawlessly perfect!

His hair was a bit messy, adding to his carefree charm.

This man really had no bad angles!

Xia Xiaonuan pouted, feeling a pang of jealousy even as a woman.

”Hey...” She extended a finger and poked his arm.

”...”

”Nangong Yaoling, are you asleep?” Xia Xiaonuan asked softly, testing the waters.

”Go away.” Nangong Yaoling moved his arm disdainfully, his eyelashes trembling as he spoke coldly.

Xia Xiaonuan curled her lips into a smile.

”You still have quite a temper.” She reached out, coquettishly tugging his sleeve, staring at him, ”Let’s just say I misspoke earlier, alright? Your body hasn’t fully recovered yet, and your immune system is weak. You really shouldn’t get angry, or you might damage your brain...”

Before she could finish speaking, Nangong Yaoling suddenly opened his eyes and shot her a cold glance.

Did she mean he would become brain-damaged?

This woman, how bad is she at comforting people?!

Xia Xiaonuan: ...

”I didn’t mean it that way...” Seeing Nangong Yaoling was angry again, Xia Xiaonuan quickly explained.

Nangong Yaoling moved, sulking, ”Just go. Don’t worry, even if I die, it won’t be on you.” After saying that, he closed his eyes again and pretended to sleep.

Xia Xiaonuan scratched her head in frustration.

She thought for a moment.

Finally, she bit her lip and decided to go for it!

Taking a deep breath, she placed one hand on the bed, then leaned down, swiftly planting a soft kiss on his handsome cheek.

Nangong Yaoling’s body stiffened slightly.

”Is that... okay now?” she whispered weakly.

”...”

Xia Xiaonuan frowned, then leaned down and kissed his chin.

Mmm... so prickly and hard. Xia Xiaonuan rubbed her lips.

Nangong Yaoling, you need to shave! she almost shouted but restrained herself.

Still, no! re!sponse!

Determined not to give up, she lowered her head again, this time kissing his earlobe.

This time, Xia Xiaonuan went all out, boldly extending her tongue to suck on his somewhat cold earlobe.

Nangong Yaoling’s entire body trembled.

He couldn’t help but draw in a sharp breath.

Xia Xiaonuan felt his reaction, a trace of triumph and pride surging through her heart.

She wanted to see how long he could keep pretending!

Playfully, Xia Xiaonuan reached out, slipping her hand down his collar and gradually into his shirt.

The man’s skin was smooth, his chest covered in a bit of hair. Her fingertip slowly traced over his skin, finally stopping at a small bud on his chest.

Naughtily, she pinched it hard!

Meanwhile, her kisses grew bolder.

She didn’t believe he could withstand it!
