The Young Master's Escaping Bride Who Lost Memories

Chapter 204: Chapter 206 【206】The Punishment in the Game 1

She forcefully pushed Nangong Yaoling away. Nangong Yaoling did not resist, allowed her to push him away, then directly extended his hand, pulling her completely into his arms. Immediately after, he bent down and lifted her horizontally.

Xia Xiaonuan was shocked and dismayed, ”Put me down!”

Under the starry sky and fireworks, Nangong Yaoling’s handsome face revealed an astonishing beauty. Like a dark night emperor descending from the heavens, the arch of his lips carried an air of dominance and arrogance.

Ignoring Xia Xiaonuan’s messy struggles, he carried her off the deck amidst the screams and stares of the crowd.

Upon reaching the beach, he directly spun her around there.

Stars and fireworks bloomed overhead, and everyone was extremely excited. Xia Xiaonuan tightly held onto Nangong Yaoling’s neck; as the world spun, she could not appreciate the self-satisfied joy Nangong Yaoling was feeling. Amidst the spinning, she saw that familiar face in the crowd.

It seemed to carry a hint of loneliness and melancholy, gazing at her.

Xia Xiaonuan suddenly felt a sharp pain in her heart. Tears began to fall unconsciously.

Everyone surrounded them and started dancing. Nangong Yaoling set her down, someone handed him a flower crown.

Xia Xiaonuan looked up and saw that it was a flower crown made of tulip petals, emitting a faint fragrance. Nangong Yaoling personally placed the crown on her head.

”Xia Xiaonuan, do you like it?” Nangong Yaoling looked into her eyes and asked.

Xia Xiaonuan actually liked the flower crown a lot, but she couldn’t understand why seeing Nangong Yaoling so excited made her want to rebel against her own feelings. So she disdainfully said, ”I don’t like it. It’s so ugly!”

Nangong Yaoling looked at her expression and burst out laughing. He reached out and tapped her nose, ”Little girl, your lying skills are really terrible~”

Xia Xiaonuan: ...

...

After playing on the beach for a while, everyone went back into the resort.

The entire resort had many performances, various model shows, and dance shows.

After watching for a while, everyone felt tired.

Nangong Yaoling and Xia Xiaonuan, along with the others, drove to a central luxury villa.

The villa was European-styled, with a fireplace and tall pillars.

The furniture and ornaments were also very beautiful and high-end.

There was also incense, and the subtle and elegant fragrance was very pleasant.

This place was like a luxurious palace.

And, in this resort, there were hundreds of such villas.

Everyone sat on the sofa, and since it was rare for everyone to gather, Yuwen Rouyu suggested playing a game.

So, no one objected.

It was a very traditional game, drawing lots.

Nangong Yaoling, Xia Xiaonuan, Nangong Feihong, Liang Shaochen, Nangong Zhongli, Liang Yuzhu, Yuwen Rouyu, Fengg, and Qi Yue, nine people in total, formed a circle.

The game rule was, the two who drew the smallest cards had to accept a challenge from the one who drew the king card.

And, these two challenges had to be completed by the two smallest cardholders together.

They started drawing cards.

Everyone held their breath, placing the cards in front of them.

Then, they revealed their cards.

Their expressions varied.

In the first round, Xia Xiaonuan drew a King.

What a relief. She looked at her card and exhaled deeply.

And the one who drew the king card was Yuwen Rouyu.

The two who drew the smallest cards were Liang Shaochen and Nangong Feihong!

Nangong Feihong held his card and let out a wail.

Liang Shaochen had a slight bitter smile without too much expression.
