New Age Of Summoners

Even though the system was generating the missions with some penalties, they were rare.

What’s more, the penalty for the failure of this mission was his death and at the same time, the system would also disappear.

In the past, the system has generated missions with a penalty such as death once or twice; however, it was the first time that the system mentioned that it would disappear.

’What does that mean? Won’t my death mean that I will lose the system already?’

According to the information that Ajax had gained about the system, once he died, it would find a new host to start its journey.

From his perspective, when he dies, then the system would disappear anyway. So, mentioning his death and the disappearance of the system in the penalty section made Ajax frown.

’It looks like the system is not going to answer it.’

Seeing that the system was not bothering to clear his thoughts, Ajax shook his head because he knew that if the system was adamant about not answering his questions, it wouldn’t do it no matter how much he begged.

’Anyway, I will complete the mission at any cost.’

Since the penalty for the mission was too much, Ajax didn’t have the luxury of failing the mission. So, he could only try his best to complete the mission.

’But the problem is, where should I find this Elemental Spirit Emperor now?’

Ajax thought about it for a moment; however, when he thought of the ’More Information’ section in the mission, he stopped bothering about it.

’According to the system, the Elemental Spirit Emperor of this world will come to kill me. So, I don’t have to look for him and waste my time.’

In the mission details, even though he didn’t see any time restrictions, he was sure that he had to complete the mission before his Divine Spirit Consciousness returned to his body.

However, the Elemental Spirit World was vast and it would take who knows how days for Ajax to find where the Elemental Spirit Emperor of this world was.

Hence, after thinking for some time, Ajax figured out the fastest way for the Elemental Spirit Emperor to come find him.

’As for that fastest way, it was none other than forming a contract with as many elemental spirits as possible.’

As the guardian of the Elemental Spirit World, the Elemental Spirit Emperor would definitely sense when so many Elemental Spirits try to form contracts with him.

According to the system, when the Elemental Spirit Emperor sees or senses Ajax’s presence, he will try to kill him.

Hence, Ajax decided to bait himself for the Elemental Spirit Emperor to come and attack him.

’Also, I should have as many elemental spirits as possible before the Elemental Spirit Emperor comes to him. So, the Elemental Spirits could help me in the fight against the Elemental Spirit Emperor.’

Ajax still didn’t know exactly how powerful the Elemental Spirit Emperor was and whether he could fight against that Emperor in his current form.

If his main body was here, Ajax would have not worried about a mere Elemental Spirit Emperor in the least.

’Ding,

The host doesn’t have to worry about such minute things. In his Divine Spirit Consciousness form, he could use all his skills.

Just when Ajax was flying in search of the Elemental Spirits to form contracts with, he received a system notification, making him pleasantly surprised.

’What? I can use my skills in my Spirit Consciousness Form?’

Generally, a cultivator’s spirit consciousness form is weak and cannot use any skills and could be destroyed by anyone.

So, it was a pleasant surprise for Ajax to hear that he could use his skills in his Spirit Consciousness and of course, Ajax knew why he was able to do it.

It was all thanks to his Divine Spirit Consciousness Form.

’Ding,

Even though the host can use his skills in his Divine Spirit Consciousness Form, it would still be weak as it won’t have a proper defence.

’It’s better than nothing.’

Even though the defence of his Spirit Consciousness was still a problem, Ajax was not worried much about it because for him, using his skills in the Divine Spirit Consciousness Form was already a great deal.

’Since I can use my skills, I can find the Elemental Spirits more easily.’

After learning about another benefit of his Divine Spirit Consciousness, Ajax didn’t waste any more time as he decided to use the skills to find the Elemental Spirits.

[Celestial Void Step]

’Swoosh’

With a single step, Ajax covered a kilometer as he checked his surroundings for a moment before using his skill again.

’Swoosh’

’Swoosh’

After blinking for a few moments, Ajax finally found what he was searching for.

’There is not one but three elemental spirits. It looks like my luck is good.’

Looking at the three different coloured elemental spirits that were half transparent and half-human, Ajax became excited.

Necros, Volcanis and Sparrow were able to turn half human and half transparent after they reached the emperor’s realm and awakened their Elemental Ascendance.

So, Ajax felt that those three elemental spirits were definitely not normal or common despite belonging to the common elements. Of course, Ajax had already expected that the elemental spirits in this Elemental Spirit World that was connected to the Floating Island would definitely not be normal. So, he was not surprised but excited to find not one but three elemental spirits in less than 10 minutes after his appearance in the Elemental Spirit World.

’Anyway, let’s go and say hello to them before taking them under me.’

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax didn’t waste any time as he used [Celestial Void Step].

If it was before, Ajax would have been very careful in approaching these three half-human and half-transparent elemental spirits; however, right now, when Ajax could use his skills, he was not worried about such things and directly made his appearance close to them.

’Swoosh’

”Hey, there. I am a summoner who has come to take you with me from this world.”

As soon as he appeared close to these three elemental spirits, Ajax remained calm and composed as he greeted them before informing them about his visit to this Elemental Spirit World.

”A H-human?”

The three elemental spirits that were discussing something were shocked to hear Ajax’s voice and they were surprised to see Ajax.

”Divine Human?”

’Putong’

As Ajax was thinking of what he should say to convince them to form contracts with him, he saw the three elemental spirits fall to their knees.

”Huh?”

Ajax frowned when he saw the three elemental spirits fall to their knees as he didn’t understand what was going on with those three elemental spirits.

Before Ajax could even process what was happening with the three elemental spirits, he heard them say, ”Divine Human, we are more than happy to form unofficial contracts with you.”

”What?”

Once again, Ajax was shocked to hear the words of the elemental spirits as he checked his surroundings for a moment before saying, ”Are you sure about becoming my unofficial elemental spirits?”

Even though Ajax was planning to turn all his unofficial elemental spirits into official elemental spirits, he thought he had to convince the elemental spirits to form unofficial contracts with him.

However, right now, what was happening in front of him made Ajax feel like he was dreaming everything.

’Ding,

Please place your hand on the heads of the elemental spirits to complete the unofficial contract with them.

However, Ajax was able to come to his senses with the help of the system’s notification.

’I am not dreaming…everything is real. Is it also one of the benefits of having a Divine Spirit Consciousness.’

Even though Ajax looked a little confused, he could guess what was happening right now from the words spoken by the three elemental spirits.

They called him Divine Human and the reason for that was very simple it was related to his Divine Spirit Consciousness Form where it was surrounded by a Golden Aura, making him look like a Human from the higher realm.

’Ding,

The host has formed an unofficial contract with Chronis, the Metal Elemental Spirit.

’Ding,

The host has formed an unofficial contract with Seraphel, the Fire Elemental Spirit.

’Ding,

The host has formed an unofficial contract with Orsa, the Earth Elemental Spirit.

As Ajax touched the heads of the three elemental spirits, the system took care of his unofficial contracts with the elemental spirits.

”Chronis, (Seraphel), (Orsa), officially greets the Summoning Master.”

As soon as the process of forming the contracts was completed, the three elemental spirits officially greeted him with faces full of respect.

As the elemental spirits, their main objective was to leave the elemental spirit world by finding a good and powerful summoning master.

To their luck, they encountered a Divine Human who was willing to take them in as his unofficial elemental spirits.

Even though they could tell that the Divine Human was yet to mature fully, they were not worried about such things because encountering a young Divine Human was already a huge opportunity for them and they were not going to complain about it.

”Chronis, Seraphel and Orsa don’t worry about being the unofficial elemental spirits, in the future, I will turn you into my official elemental spirits.”

Since they were his elemental spirits who were going to follow all his commands, Ajax gave them the hopes of turning them into his elemental spirits to increase their loyalty towards him.

”What? Summoning Master can change our contracts into official contracts?”

Hearing Ajax’s words, the three elemental spirits were shocked.
