New Age Of Summoners

[Bestial Devour Soul]

After swallowing the corpse of the old man referred to as the fourth brother by the other old men, Alder didn’t forget to activate his Emperor Realm’s Bestial Soul.

For other spirit beasts, swallowing the old man with a powerful regeneration might cause trouble in digesting; however, it was not an issue for the Leader of the Devourer Eagle Emperors because he had a powerful Bestial Soul that could digest anything it consumed.

Of course, if Alder had his Divine Devour Rule, it would have been even easier to digest the old man in his stomach along with the hundreds of Zeroth Order Golden Demon Apostles in his stomach.

’Swoosh’

As soon as Alder activated his Bestial Soul, the regenerating cells in the old man stopped moving and they seemed to go into the hibernation.

’Kacha’

Soon, the two parts of the body were covered in a mysterious energy as it started disintegrating the body into tiny particles.

These tiny particles were later formed into an Energy Orb that the Devourer Eagle Emperor could use to increase his cultivation.

”What the…”

On the other hand, the Devourer Eagle Emperor’s actions completely shocked the old men as they finally realized the main ability of the Devourer Eagle.

”How dare you eat my Fourth Brother.”

”I am going to kill you.”

The Second Brother and the Third Brother came out of their shock as their faces filled with anger.

Without wasting any time, the Second Brother also activated his Divine Metal Rule and rushed towards Alder along with his Third Brother to kill him.

Even though the Second Brother wanted the Third Brother to kill the Devourer Eagle Emperor, after seeing how their Fourth Brother was consumed, the Second Brother no longer cared about anything.

All he wanted to do right now was to kill the Devourer Eagle Emperor and retrieve their Fourth Brother from his stomach.

Even though they were not sure whether their Fourth Brother could regenerate himself or not, they planned to at least retrieve his Soul, so that he could create a new body and live with them.

’Swoosh’

’Boom’

However, just when they were able to reach Alder, a powerful energy wave was released from Alder’s body that blasted the incoming Second and the Third Brothers away.

’What the hell is that energy?’

’How could it blast us even when we have our Divine Metal Rules activated?’

The Second and the Third Brothers were shocked as they looked at Alder with shocked looks on their faces.

”Huh?”

”What is happening? Why is his body shining with a bright light?”

”Don’t tell me that it is what I think it is?”

For a moment, they were shocked once again when they saw the shining body of the Devourer Eagle Emperor; however, it didn’t take much time for the three old men to realize what was the phenomena that Alder was currently undergoing.

….

’Ding,

The host’s Contracted Spirit Beast, Alder, has triggered the awakening requirements of the Divine Devour Rule by consuming a cultivator with a Divine Rule.

’Ding,

The Estimated time to complete the awakening of the Divine Devour Rule is only a few minutes.

’Ding,

During this time, make sure that he won’t be disturbed or killed.

On the other hand, Ajax, who had long arrived at Alder’s location; however, didn’t show himself in front of the old man and received a series of system notifications.

’What? He is awakening the Divine Devour Rule?’

Ajax was pleasantly surprised after reading the system notifications and at the same time, he thought about something that made Ajax excited.

’So, the requirement of the Devourer Eagle Emperors to awaken their Divine Devour Rule was to consume a being with a Divine Rule.’

Since Alder was not the only Devourer Eagle Emperor that Ajax had, Ajax was planning to use that requirement to help the remaining 10 Devourer Eagle Emperors to awaken the Divine Devour Rule.

For Devourer Eagles, the Divine Devour Rule turns them into one of the Apex Spirit Beasts in the Universe. Once the Divine Devour Rule was awakened, they would continue to grow stronger and it would be much easier for them to increase the awakening percentage of their Divine Rules compared to the other cultivators and beasts.

So, Ajax was excited at the thought of all his Devourer Eagles having the Divine Devour Rules.

’Anyway, it’s not the time to think about these things now.’

Since the next few minutes were important for Alder, Ajax didn’t have the time to think about his future.

[Celestial Void Step]

Ajax took a single step in mid-air and directly appeared in front of Alder.

[Thousand Sword Waves]

’Swoosh’

With a thought, the Soul Slasher’s Sword appeared in Ajax’s hand which he waved by using the Demi-God-Level Sword Technique that he awakened in the past.

’Swoosh’

’Swoosh’

In the next second, 100 units of the Divine Essence of Nature in Ajax’s Divine Spirit Consciousness had disappeared, followed by the appearance of 1000 sword waves which didn’t give any gap for the incoming old men to escape.

’Clang’

’Clang’

’Slash’

’Slash’

Since there was no gap to escape, the old men blocked the incoming sword waves with their huge swords that appeared out of nowhere.

They blocked more than a hundred sword waves each with their weapons and another hundred sword waves each with their bodies.

At first, there were no scratches on their metallic robes; however, as the number of sword waves touched their bodies increased, the scratches started appearing on their robes as they pushed back nearly one kilometer.

Everything happened in a short span and the old men were caught off guard by Ajax’s sudden but powerful attack.

”As the rulers of the Metal Region, aren’t you ashamed to gang up on a single beast?”

Using the gap between him and the old men, Ajax spoke some words to insult them.

”Before killing my beasts, you have to go through me.”

Ajax looked at the two old men who were yet to recover from being pushed back and thought of taking care of them in a single go.
