Beast Taming Clan: I Have a Jade Book

The Spirit Cultivation Pill of the Ye Family is most effective on young Spirit Beasts, as it is an elixir that accelerates the growth of Spirit Beasts.

Moreover, he had previously talked to Ye Jingcheng about this Blue Jade Flood Dragon and had also requested a Spirit Cultivation Pill with a Pill Pattern.

According to Ye Jingcheng, this Blue Jade Flood Dragon has at least the potential of Tier Six, so at this moment, Ye Jingyu is giving it the best.

As for the Jade Qilin Flood Dragon voicing some discontent nearby, he didn’t pay it much mind.

At worst, the two Spirit Beasts could be fed separately.

After feeding the Spirit Beasts, Ye Jingyu began training the magical abilities of the Blue Jade Flood Dragon.

With a slight inhale, it sucked up half of Lingyun Lake’s water, nearly drying it up, which made Ye Jingyu instantly delighted, but soon he frowned.

He discovered that the Blue Jade Flood Dragon did not hold a Grotto Heaven but had a vast abdominal cavity similar to the Blue Water Whale. This cavity evidently possessed some spatial rules, suitable for hiding in crucial moments but was unable to form its own Grotto Heaven like the Turtle Ancestor.

Of course, even so, it was still quite remarkable.

Ye Jingyu further tested some of the Blue Jade Flood Dragon’s abilities.

He found its Water Manipulation Technique extremely strong, effortlessly creating various Water Dragons and Water Pillars, and could even condense Profound Nether Heavy Water.

This discovery left Ye Jingyu exceedingly pleased.

If used properly, Heavy Water could make the Water Arrow Skill comparable to a Magical Treasure!

Moreover, this Heavy Water could also be used in the family for refining Heavy Water Treasures.

Ye Jingyu spent half a day testing before putting away the Blue Jade Flood Dragon. Behind him, Ye Xingqun and Ye Jing Hu couldn’t help but emerge.

At this moment, Ye Jing Hu and Ye Xingqun were filled with envy.

Although their own Spirit Beasts were also exceptional, after all, every cultivator dreams of Flood Dragons.

“Fourth Brother, do you think we can continue to poach Flood Dragon Eggs from the Jiao Sea?” Ye Jing Hu asked.

“It’s extremely difficult!” Ye Jingyu shook his head.

His Jade Qilin Flood Dragon succeeded, firstly because it too was a Flood Dragon.

Secondly, the breakthrough of the Flood Dragon Saint in the Celestial Flood Dragon Sea diverted attention and drew away numerous Flood Dragons.

Moreover, some of these Flood Dragons were stationed as guardians at Celestial Horse Pass.

Attempting to steal eggs now would not only have a slim chance of success but might also spell the demise of the Spirit Beasts.

Bear in mind the considerable effort invested by the Ye Family in cultivating each Spirit Beast.

Not to mention Spirit Beasts like his Jade Qilin Flood Dragon.

But seeing Ye Jing Hu’s disappointment, Ye Jingyu had a sudden idea.

“Jing Hu, you’ve given me some inspiration!”

“Although we can’t steal eggs, we can consider borrowing breeding stock!”

It’s well-known that Flood Dragons are highly lustful, with their galls filled with an aphrodisiac poison akin to an aphrodisiac.

The Ye Family’s few Flood Dragons haven’t been bred, partly due to their small numbers and partly because they’re still in their growth stage. Breeding them might deplete their True Essence, requiring a long recovery time.

Of course, this True Essence could somewhat be restored with Demon-enticing Grass.

However, the Ye Family’s stock of Demon-enticing Grass has been nearly depleted in the past.

The remaining stock isn’t sufficiently mature.

But borrowing breed stock from other Flood Dragons wouldn’t have such constraints.

The most crucial part is that the Ye Family has enough Pythons to borrow from.

If one isn’t enough, then ten. The chances are much quicker than the Ye Family’s one or two Flood Dragons breeding.

The best part is that once Spirit Eggs are born, even half-Flood Dragons, the Ye Family stands a good chance of elevating them into Flood Dragons.

“That’s indeed a good idea. According to the information returned by Second Great Uncle, the Cyan Cloud Sea Domain has stabilized, and after the last assault in the Celestial Flood Dragon Sea killed four Nascent Souls, Nascent Souls now dare not enter the Cyan Cloud Sea Domain. Conversely, our Ye Family can attempt to borrow breed stock!” Ye Xingqun exclaimed.

The Ye Family had borrowed breeding stock before the Hidden Peak.

However, as the Ye Family’s Spirit Beasts have grown more numerous and their territory expanded, the thought of borrowing breeding stock has waned somewhat.

They’ve been focusing on self-cultivation, but the results haven’t been very effective.

The fertility of breeds like the Silver Moon Python and the Blood Moon Python is innately low, and it’s even rarer for them to advance to Flood Dragons.

But because the Ye Family now has plenty of Spirit Beasts, there hasn’t been a sense of crisis.

Yet now, borrowing Flood Dragon breeding stock would yield substantial benefits.

And once the borrowing is complete, by then, the Qing Generation and Yun Generation of the Ye Family will have matured.

“I’ll discuss this with Fourth Great Uncle, to send more female Silver Moon Pythons and Blood Moon Pythons!” Ye Jingyu nodded.

The innate talents of pure-blooded Flood Dragons are much stronger than those advanced through mixed blood. As the scope of the Celestial Flood Dragon Sea expands and Demon Saints increase, those Flood Dragons will undoubtedly become more brazen.

This is also an excellent opportunity for the Ye Family to borrow breeding stock.

Meanwhile, the Cyan Cloud Sea Domain has started to calm down, and it is time for the Ye Family to set up teleportation arrays between the two locations. Moreover, the Ye Family has recently acquired a Jade Celestial Heaven, which can be sent to the Cyan Cloud Sea Domain.

This will make the Ye Family’s actions more convenient.

“Uncle Xingqun, has the Jin Family or Kong Family made any moves recently?”

“Yes, both families have started sending core disciples to their sects, probably worried we would wipe them out!” Ye Xingqun nodded.

“This matter is indeed concerning. We will inevitably want to eliminate these two families in the future, but if they become too tied to the Taiyi Sect, we won’t have any chance!” Ye Jingyu was troubled.

“Jingyu, should we continue monitoring? We’ve recently collected a batch of Celestial Shadow Wood?”

“Monitor them, but don’t place them near the Clan Mountain of either location. Station more at the border between Taichang Commandery and Taiqing Commandery; these two families are likely in contact with the Qinghe Sect, or else Jingcheng wouldn’t have returned empty-handed that day!” Ye Jingyu said after a moment of contemplation.

Ye Xingqun nodded upon hearing this as well.

If they can gather evidence against the Kong Family and Jin Family, the Ye Family wouldn’t even need to take action themselves to bring about their downfall!
